One more thing. I remember when Vic Mensa had made that song Danger for his EP “There’s a Lot Going On.” In the song Danger, Vic had said: “I don’t like way that niggas taking like they bulletproof. Until they gotta find out what a bullet do. Catch two in your Canada goose. So instead of dissing Vic Mensa back for saying that, he was just in his feelings. And he was getting on Vic’s assistant about that line in the song. I think that there are some good artists that are better than two of these guys that are in the big three. But people are too busy looking at these guys as the big three
Sure but the big three I think is just a reference to the high mainstream guys of course their are spitters on a lower mainstream and even underground level that could wash all three but historically that's always been the case even in the 90's back when biggie and nas were fightin for that king of NY thing their were plenty of local and lower mainstream dudes that could wash nas and biggie lyrically but it's just where we're at with this discussion when talkin best in the game best of the era popularity, album sales, and commercial success must be factored in not sayin it right or wrong jus sayin that's how it is
Drakes house shot up. Where his mother and son could've got unalived or seriously hurt. A man urdred seems like J Cole was in tune with his inner spirit. Yea this video aged well.Smdh wow
As a artist.... After hearing drake didn't write a song... Is fake to me...I've written all my ish myself. I don't take pride likely, but i take pride in my literature.
People are still going on about this? I guess Vince Staples was right about folks just being too into bullshịt. I mean seriously, people act like it's the end of hip-hop as we know it if we don't see how a battle between Kendrick and Cole would play out. *BFD!* Besides, this was bigger than hip-hop. This was a matter of manhood. And every man has to stand on his principles, even if it means making the unpopular decision. And for Cole, that happened to be issuing an apology and bowing out of any further dust up. None of us have to like it, but none of our opinions matter when we weren't the ones involved. When something you've done doesn't sit right with you, you're only options are to reconcile it or let it fester.
I mean, J Cole’s music isn’t as good on its own. But he’s definitely does better when he’s on other people’s songs. Drake has gotten lazy and relied on the fact that he’s a big star. And he’s just making hits songs just to outshine Michael Jackson. But that’s isn’t going to last long because someone else can come in and take his place. So Kendrick Lamar is the only one can that can do both. But some people sometimes say that Kendrick Lamar can be too preaching sometimes. And it seems like some of those people who say that just want Kendrick Lamar to release verses. Like the one on Big Sean’s Control song. But I want to see Kendrick Lamar not spread his self too thin. I want to see Kendrick Lamar explore more of himself and more of his artistic style and side
So apparently it's more acceptable to have a ghost writer than apologize for dissing your dog. The guy with ghost writer can still say he's the best that's hip hop for u

Unfortunately this beef has had no real impact on Hip Hop. The Big 3 by most are considered boring as a mf ....... This by all accounts is considered the LAMEST period in the history of the genre. You can't have a real beef with 3 rappers when one has to wait for a ghostwriter to finish writing his rap. The new generation rap fan just doesn't have the same level of love or concern.💯
This is what happens when you sleep on the country cousin. KRIT responded on Mt Olympus. And they slept on him. And bar for Bar cyhi would wash Cole and Kendrick. Just saying.
Y’all weird. Asking for disharmony when peace can be had. Any apology in hip hop beef should be welcomed. It’s growth and evolution. No other genre of music does this. Healthy competition is great but shaming someone when they’ve realized they went too far…..that’s a tad immature.
Did we listen to the same song? J Cole did not go “far” at all. Prior to his apologize, he was getting clowned for lowkey praising Kendrick the entire song Growth and development mannnn shut up
Reguardless to Cole peace treaty, he's still ya favorite rappers favorite rapper, he's still Big 3/Top 3 in this generation of rap, and he's still Hip Hop! Ain't nobody worry bout Aubrey Drake Graham, cause even tho he's in the Big 3, he'll always remain #3. Peace to J. Cole & K. Dot!
Why we acting like Kendrick, Drake & Cole are doper lyricist than Nas, Royce, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Benny the Butcher, Conway, RJ Payne, Papoose, Joyner Lucas, Symba & a list of others that are on that level. Don't let that mainstream industry shit fool you. There's real spitters out there without Grammy's. I do consider them elite artist but I would say they're the most culturally relevant over being the best rappers in the game.
@@bgp7287 you obviously don't listen to either 1 of them if you think they trash. They wordplay is on par with "the big 3" & Joyner's song concepts are on that same level. Benny is a one trick pony but what he does, he does it at a top tier level.
Outdated, too repetitive, too street, corny. That's why. They don't market themselves or appeal to the masses. Doesn't mean they're trash at all, that's just their lane.
Personally, with how much the world has changed and the mindsets being put into a greater perspective and awareness, competition is dead. . If not dead, then different to how it was back 15-30 years ago. . Maybe something new is budding. . .
I dont hold nothing against Cole for doing what he did. He knows they both have alot of people around them that love them both equally that aren't rappers, & will eventually take what's being said on wax as disrespect & cross that line into something physical. So before the back in fourth got started & escalated he just deaded the situation. Everybody ain't no gangster or want to bring that type of energy into the music. Personally I think battling is healthy competition for the Culture & was looking fwd to some lyrical sparring but I can understand why he did what he did
IMO, nobody can touch K-Dot. He's on my top MCs EVER. K-Dot should do a song called "F.Y.A. (Fuck You Apology)". Cole having cold sweats still, realizing that he burn a bridge 4 life. 1 thing about Geminis, like Kendrick, they rarely 4give & never 4get. I FW Cole, but he realize that he can't take back what he said, or recorded bout Kung Fu Kenny. Like Nas once said, "You pop shit and apologize." On the other hand, people aren't totally done with Cole. When he drops "The Fall Out", all the people saying he did some sucka shit, will be the same people that will praise him for The Fall Off As 4 Disco Drake, he's gonna be singing and crying, "You Broke My Heart" 2 J Cole for apologizing to his opp. All I'm saying is that nobody ain't touching K-Dot lyrically nowadays. My opinion. Respect it or hate it. IJS

He said yall got till april 7th to get yall shit together on the heart pt 4 cole apologized 4/7/2024 😂😂 lets see if he'll be safe from the lyrical onslaught about to come from kdot bro havin nightmares about it 💯 😂 that's was all lyrical fear 😨 cause the world knew it wasn't violence just who's better lyrically I was hoping cole would compete that just solidified kendrick as the candyman of hiphop , the boogeyman of hiphop had cole shook
This is comparable to when Jay cried on the radio about Ether. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
as a man , i agree with what Cole did .
as a competitor, if you put it out , you gotta stand on it .
This is the only right answer. Anyone saying it's 100% a good or bad response is cappin
I can respect it
At least they're kept it on wax & ended their feud w/o somebody dyin'
There was no feud...
@@knowledgeseeker1528 Ok... squabble then
Right but this is Kenny and Cole 2 of the more low key chill dudes in rap who historically have never rapped about guns, and violence and steppin to dudes like that on record if you tell me that Freddie Gibbs and Benny the butcher had a beef that turned physical I wouldn't be surprised just because of the music they make and the aura they project but I really don't understand this thought process that the Kenny and Cole situation ever had a chance of turning physical
@@johndavis9321 I hear ya... I used to Rap Beef gettin' crazy... Grew up during Pac/B.I.G. (RIP) & 50/Ja I look at stuff like this a lil differently, feel me??
@@bruceking7416 lol yeah but again all those dudes were thug/street rappers that rapped and at times bragged about that lifestyle I expect beefs and small situations between guys like that to spark into something physical not guys like Cole and Kenny who are level headed and yes are from those type of environments but have in many ways grown beyond that and anyway I think those are bad examples because those beefs took place when hip hop was at a much more hostile much more volatile time in its history competition was a lot higher and you could argue it was overly competitive also the 50 and ja thing really was some street sh!t that just so happens to spill into the rap not the other way around
This aged so good
One more thing. I remember when Vic Mensa had made that song Danger for his EP “There’s a Lot Going On.” In the song Danger, Vic had said: “I don’t like way that niggas taking like they bulletproof. Until they gotta find out what a bullet do. Catch two in your Canada goose. It’ll turn a nigga into Proof, ooh!” I think that when he was saying that, I don’t think that he was dissing Drake in a bad way. I just think that he probably was just saying some shit just to be saying it. But Drake had heard it and was all in his feelings about it. So instead of dissing Vic Mensa back for saying that, he was just in his feelings. And he was getting on Vic’s assistant about that line in the song. But I felt like it was Kendrick Lamar, he would’ve responded to him and it would’ve been an all out competition
That must have been some nightmare......
Don’t care how y’all spin this. It was an L. Call it what it is.
Stop using 2Pac and Biggie (two anomalies when it comes to beefing and death) as a sure fire outcome if rappers go at each other at wax.
Was this said with MGK vs Em? Or Drake vs Pusha? Cut it out.
this moment exposed those who care about the culture and those who are just there for the individual rappers.
J Cole Let EVERYONE Down... 😶
He said he was the BEST Rapper, we Only wanted the Bars Not Blood‼️ Cole Just Stepped On His Own LEGACY, and Then There Was 2 😅 LOL
Cole need to cut his hair tho. His spirit dont match his hair
Look I am a fan of all three MCs because they all nice. I feel this beef is good for hip-hop because we as fans will get gift of good music. Hip-hop has always been competitive and I love it coming from two of the coldest MCs in the game .
Cole out the top 3? Unsubscribe. This is a clown channel now.
he was never top 3
I disagree, we didn’t lose Cole from the top 3 at all…you wasn’t a real fan to begin with if you think that
Thank you. People are making me really upset. Cole still top dog.
Whaaat??? Where? What top 3 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Honestly i think we should give Big Sean a chance to occupy this space
If Sean release more music then he could be there too, but not in place of Cole
He can still be top 3 he’ll just never be 1 or 2
@@FatherDaughterDuoReactions I wouldn’t say never, but I’ll give you that
I respect his decision but he sacrificed his ambition forever. He can never claim to be the best again and can never defend himself from being dissed
I think that there are some good artists that are better than two of these guys that are in the big three. But people are too busy looking at these guys as the big three
Lupe Fiasco, King Los, Royce the list goes on.
Sure but the big three I think is just a reference to the high mainstream guys of course their are spitters on a lower mainstream and even underground level that could wash all three but historically that's always been the case even in the 90's back when biggie and nas were fightin for that king of NY thing their were plenty of local and lower mainstream dudes that could wash nas and biggie lyrically but it's just where we're at with this discussion when talkin best in the game best of the era popularity, album sales, and commercial success must be factored in not sayin it right or wrong jus sayin that's how it is
Never Understood The Hype For Any Of Them. 🗑️
I’m extremely disappointed in j Cole aka j fold
Kendrick Lamar vs Jcole 👀👀👀
Yall will get over it. Yall got over all the help Drake gets with bars. If he can beat that, Cole is beating that apology
2-6 we still up! Dreamville stand up! NC to NY and all over the world the Ville ain’t going nowhere. 💯🔥💪🏾🔥🐐
Wow, you bogus for saying he said that he’s waking up from nightmares and cold sweats. He never said that 😂
He opened up when he said he can't sleep.😂😂😂
One thing Drake could NEVA do is outshine Michael Jackson…
Jcole I don't understand sometimes
So apparently it's more acceptable to have a ghost writer than apologize for dissing your dog. The guy with ghost writer can still say he's the best that's hip hop for u
That LeBron comment 👍🏿 😂
7 min drill was all cap 🧢 rap he himself didn’t even believe nothing he was saying 😂 Cole know he not better than Kendrick and the label forced him to add 7 min drill😂 what a idiot he need to never talk slick in his raps again he let Drake gas him up 😂
What label?
Unfortunately this beef has had no real impact on Hip Hop. The Big 3 by most are considered boring as a mf ....... This by all accounts is considered the LAMEST period in the history of the genre. You can't have a real beef with 3 rappers when one has to wait for a ghostwriter to finish writing his rap. The new generation rap fan just doesn't have the same level of love or concern.💯
This is what happens when you sleep on the country cousin. KRIT responded on Mt Olympus. And they slept on him. And bar for Bar cyhi would wash Cole and Kendrick. Just saying.
Hate to agree but can't argue with that cyhi is dope asf
He is, dog.
Underrated.
Facts. KRIT is everything they tell us Cole is. And that's no disrespect to Cole's talent.
Prior to his apologize, he was getting clowned for lowkey praising Kendrick the entire song
Growth and development mannnn shut up
Coward
Is Drake using ghostwriting for the battle 😂
Reguardless to Cole peace treaty, he's still ya favorite rappers favorite rapper, he's still Big 3/Top 3 in this generation of rap, and he's still Hip Hop! Ain't nobody worry bout Aubrey Drake Graham, cause even tho he's in the Big 3, he'll always remain #3. Peace to J. Cole & K. Dot!
Thank you
speak fa yaself just j Cole ain't boring af me and my favorite rapper agree
Nope
Cole a human
Why we acting like Kendrick, Drake & Cole are doper lyricist than Nas, Royce, Jadakiss, Fabolous, Benny the Butcher, Conway, RJ Payne, Papoose, Joyner Lucas, Symba & a list of others that are on that level. Don't let that mainstream industry shit fool you. There's real spitters out there without Grammy's. I do consider them elite artist but I would say they're the most culturally relevant over being the best rappers in the game.
Benny & Joyner trash lmfao the 80's baby late bloomer saviors 😂😂😂😂 Conway waaayy better
Doesn't mean they're trash at all, that's just their lane.
lmao. Bro said Joyner Lucas lol
@@arseeoliveira6934 if you know you know
Yeah the lebron analogies are corny but the video wasn't bad
Personally, with how much the world has changed and the mindsets being put into a greater perspective and awareness, competition is dead.
.
If not dead, then different to how it was back 15-30 years ago.
.
Maybe something new is budding.
.
.
I agree with everything in this video but your opinions on Lebron almost made me unsub. Stick to music and never speak about basketball again
My brother unsubscribed.
J cole aka j fold
I dont hold nothing against Cole for doing what he did. He knows they both have alot of people around them that love them both equally that aren't rappers, & will eventually take what's being said on wax as disrespect & cross that line into something physical. So before the back in fourth got started & escalated he just deaded the situation. Everybody ain't no gangster or want to bring that type of energy into the music. Personally I think battling is healthy competition for the Culture & was looking fwd to some lyrical sparring but I can understand why he did what he did
I don’t think J Cole cares about your opinion 😂😂
Why do u talk like it’s 2044 it was 5 days ago!! 😂
This is why I never been a J. Cole fan. HES CORNY
Cole is soft
Ima Cole fan but DAMN was some sucka shit
Lose that background music
Once Meek ended Drake he shouldn't be look at as a rapper or in the big 3.
Nigga, Back to Back ended Meek. After that track, everyone called the winner. It didn't matter what Meek did after that. Lol
Somehow, I really just dislike Drake more out of all this. Drake is still 3rd to me.
Basically Kendrick Lamar haunted J Cole in his sleep so he woke up and apologized 😂
Like Nas once said, "You pop shit and apologize."
On the other hand, people aren't totally done with Cole. When he drops "The Fall Out", all the people saying he did some sucka shit, will be the same people that will praise him for The Fall Off
As 4 Disco Drake, he's gonna be singing and crying, "You Broke My Heart" 2 J Cole for apologizing to his opp.
All I'm saying is that nobody ain't touching K-Dot lyrically nowadays. My opinion. Respect it or hate it. IJS
Imagine if biggie apologized after hit em up😂😂😂😂😂
Imagine if jay apologized after ether 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Factz😂😂
He did. His mom made him
@@kbtitan2464 really?
You mean if Nas apologized for Ether. Jay did apologize for SuperUgly....his mom made him.
@@xfacta334 damn, really?
J Cole is a goofball
Shit is embarrassing
Drake is not battle tested...his OVO basement rap lyric sweatshop is on vacation
Listen... specifically you Stunted Growth...HIP HIP IS NOT A SPORT OR A COMPETITION IT'S A GENRE OF MUSIC. Plus your idea that's it's a young man's game is not true as well. Seriously stop pushing that narrative. You don't hear people in rock or any other genre talk that nonsense. That's why they get on and basically get to go forever. I swear people kill me with the type casting.
I like J Cole and Kendrick but these label made beefs got to STOP!
you don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s always been competition.
Jay vs Nas
Kanye vs 50
50 vs Everybody
Flip vs TI
You say “other genres don’t do this” but that’s exactly what separates hip-hop from other genres
@@stann.3408 a few allegedly real beefs have nothing to do with the fact that more than anything it's a genre of music not a who's better than who contest. Just say your one of many who like to see conflict in media otherwise it's not interesting. Similar to a movie or how a lot of females look at relationships.
