I've been looking to catch walleye but never have any luck :/ I live 15 minutes from Oneida
The first walleye I ever caught was in Henderson Harbor a few years ago. It was from shore after a failed attempt at a fishing charter because one of us got extremely sea sick for the first time ever. It was huge and I was happy, but didn't realize how huge it actually was because I'd never caught one before. Since then I've watched a few youtube videos where people talk about how big a walleye is and I'm like, "damn... mine was way bigger than that." I'm starting to think I caught a trophy sized walleye and had no clue.
What do you look for to find spots like this? Only place I seem to catch walleye are tailwaters off the locks, or in the Oswego River.
No wonder I can't find any of my gardening tools!
