Those are the stock rear tires, most sears garden tractors use 23x10.5 but this beast uses 24x12 rear tires,I have 2 of these tractors they have a 27 hp V twin Kohler engine,it took about 10 years but the head gaskets went on both machines, there is also a breather in between the cylinders that blows the gasket and blows out all the oil that is the problem with this unit
@@mhess427 yes the DGT6000 had a 27 hp Kohler engine, and larger tires front and back the DGT6000 is a hydrostatic transmission it also has amp gauge hour meter and tachometer, they came with a 48” or 50” deck, only the 48 had the 3bin bagger as far as I know I bought my DGT oct of 2004 for just over $3000 and it been worth every penny still cutting an acre of grass once sometimes twice a week since October 2004 of rebuilding the second deck as we speak with three new spindles and pulleys
The plug was OK just needed a little cleaning. I don't think any of the filters had ever been changed. With a little TLC everything worked out OK. it turned out to be a nice mower.
Well i bought the DGT Oct of 2004 and it’s still cutting just over an acre of grass sometimes twice a week with very little late maintenance or parts, I did have to replace the deck due to negligence on my part leaving grass on it over the winter outside and eventually rotted out. I bought a new deck and every year I take it off and paint it but the tractor has been very reliable I just replace deck belts I just recently change the drive belt first time since 2004 and I have hills on my property I have nothing but praise for this DGT the steering is starting to mess up I need to look at it

How big of an issue is that? I found one for sale near me for $750 and am trying to learn more about them to see if it would be worth going for.
+rockiemountin7535 Is there a difference between the DGT6000 and the regular GT6000?

Why don't you check to see if you have any spark?
carl cappy
It came in for an oil leak and it hit on starting fluid so it had spark. It had been used hard with no maintenance.
Could be a fouled spark plug or fuel filter. Sounds like your starter has had better days too.
