@@butthead6051 Cheetah print with lime green drums? I guess it does. The sound ? It is cranked way up there to keep it as true to the original drum mix. I think it does
Thank you 🙏 believe it or not I used to listen to this cassette on my walk man as well on my first job mowing lawns. I used my first paycheck to buy e. Town concrete - the 2nd coming
Thanks so much for digging it, I really appreciate it. Check out my other covers from NYHC bands. If you have not yet, be sure to subscribe I will be posting more songs like this in the future!!!
Now, what you do here are solid covers. I still have room to improve on mine, heh. Solid shirt, as well. The last song I remember practicing for a cover was T.S.O.L.'s "Sounds of Laughter". Destroyed my right hand working on that shit. Made me give up playing the drums for years now, heh. I'll get to it one day.
of course, i have actually made a spreadsheet of drum covers i would like to do and pretty much all of Snapcases discography is on that. Most of lookinglasself, progression through unlearning and designs for automation
hi, great cover. I'm trying to work out what's going on in that tom groove pre-chorus but struggling (novice drummer here.) Anyone able to transcribe or describe the part please?
It’s 16th notes played using single strokes hitting a flam on both the crash and snare on the staccato to accent the rhythm being played on the guitars. So you’d place your left hand on the high Tom and right hand on the low Tom. Count 16th notes and hit the snare/ crash flam on the 1, the N after 2 and the 4. The rhythm is counted 1 N ah 2 E N 3 E N ah 4 N ah. Sorry I can’t transcribe on UA-cam. Trying my best to explain it. You can always reach out to me on Instagram
Good man. I am not much into hardcore and punk but i love refused, at the drive-in and snapcase mostly. And i find all three bands as a most unique punk bands ever. They got their own sound and style. I need this kinda original punk bands. Any recommends?
That's awesome Bro!! glad you like it. if you dig Snapcase check out Madball, Agnostic front, Cro-mags, Blood For Blood, Leeway, Hatebreed, E. Town Concrete, Biohazard, Wisdom in Chains, Sworn Enemy, VERSE, BANE, JUDGE, Sick Of It All, Gorilla Biscuits etc. subscribe to my channel i got many more hardcore covers to come
Thanks so much man. I try to keep my covers as authentic as possible and true to the original recordings. I don’t think a China was used in this one. If you dig this check out the other covers where I smash some China on Madball and Biohazard. Appreciate the support ✌️
Mike Flaherty Drums Great cover by the way. I’ll have to check out the rest of your channel. it would be cool to see more hard-core drum covers on UA-cam. maybe some integrity
