@@100brsta From what I can tell it takes dual pulleys, heat exchangers and depending on the company, throttle bodies to make over 500hp and that still doesn't compare torque wise to the 600lb/ft of torque the B9 puts out on E85 at just stage 2. Swap the turbo and you can be in the 700's. Short of a complete custom one off, I don't see many B8's doing that. Building a stage 3 B9 with over 700hp and over 700lb/ft of torque is repeatable and can be done with in a weekend in your garage. I drove a few B8/B8.5s before I bought my B9. The whine is addictive in the B8. I just found the B9 more enjoyable to drive.
Because weight makes a huge difference, that’s why some Hondas can beat Lamborghinis. torque is also an indicator of how much hp it can dish out. hp isn’t really a good measurement for a car overall… it’s just a spec, think of it like the seasoning to ur steak, not the steak itself

Boost allows for good torque at low rpm. Hp only tells part of the story.
