I am flattered, especially when there are really good players like Jelani Eddigton and Simon Gledhill on here, who blow me away by leaps and bounds. But it is all about having fun, and playing the organ is about as fun as it gets! Thank you very much. (Bows low...) I am in total awe, and could listen to and watch you forever!! I love this song, and this is--by far--the best improvisation I have ever heard. I'll be listening ALL of the playing that you post. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
A really impressive and accomplished performance. This is an Artist with years of experience plus a lot of natural talent. Top Stuff ! Thank you very much indeed.
Thanks much for commenting. The keys are clicking because they are worn and the hiss is actually an air purifier near the console. This instrument is solid state. Vintage discreet transistors all the way. The Bone Doctor Walnut Hill Productions Ridgecrest, California "It's all about the King of Instruments!"

Thank you much for listening and commenting. I have always considered Conn to be top dog in the home organ market. I just wish I had room for the speakers she really wants and needs. And the money to buy them! "It's all aout the King of Instruments!"
I took lessons on a Conn years and years ago, This one's a beauty! You really make it yodel! I really admire your style and skill of improvisation. I keep falling all of myself whenever I try it.
I can hear why these Conn organs really comes close to the real theater pipe organ, especially being analog. The manufacture got the attack really perfect, but I wonder how the church organs sounds. They used independent tone oscillators back then. Especially the old vacuum diode tube oscillators of the older versions. Kimball piano and organ bought out the company in 1979 and then let the company fade away. Conn did not have the technology like Kimball organs has and modified them to their technology.
i listened to it and this is a lot more stylish. i think nat king cole was just kinda showing off his stuff. he really is a great musician but his version of this was not his best. i agree with where you're going but i think he was better because of his variance, style, dynamics, and honesty of his music. and i definitely think he was not put in the trunk by anyone
Je ne me lasse pas de regarder et d ecouter ce morceau...!!!du pur bonheur !!! encore merci !!!
OMG love how you can hear the key clicking and the hiss of thr air going over the reeds.

Bach Scholar approves! Great work, Mr. Bone Doctor! By the way, I grew up in Davis, CA and was always a big Raiders fan as a kid.
This guy is the Roy Clark of organists! Man look at those fingers fly!

Thank you for your corporation and greetings from Hungary!
Great :D
ever hear "Nat King Coles" arrangement?
He puts this poor soul in the trunk.
How much of this was improvised?

Is that a Conn 650?
