A lot of the birds in this video are ones that I've never seen in Ohio before. I've only seen birds in southern Ohio, which is where I mainly visit. I hope you get to see some really cool bird of prey species (Northern Harrier, Short-Eared and Long-Eared Owl, Northern Saw-Whet Owl, Barn Owl, Rough-Legged Hawk, etc).
Good morning to you two from Singapore 🇸🇬. Do you two know that the birder enthusiast from the UA-cam Channel, BRIGHT EYE BIRDING, who saw his first ‘LIFER’ a Mandarin Duck .🦆 He was searching for the most beautiful duck in the world. The Wood Duck is found in North America and is a partial migratory species of the perching duck 🦆.
Just during the beginning of this summer, I was able to photograph two different bitterns on two separate occasions : the Yellow Bittern and the Chinese Bittern.
Hey, it looks like you all are having a blast! You’ve got to come check out the St. Louis area. In the winter, when temperatures drop below 19 degrees (according to a park ranger), there’s a spot about an hour from St. Louis in Grafton, Illinois, along the Great River Road, where bald eagles come down to the river to hunt when the ground freezes. It’s amazing! When we visited three years ago, we spotted all kinds of other birds too, including owls (though don’t ask me to name them-I’m still new to this!). Unfortunately, we don’t get too many days under 19 degrees here, but when we do, it’s worth the trip. And while you’re in town, you have to try some St. Louis-style pizza. It’s definitely one of those things you’ll either love or… not so much! Here’s a UA-cam link if you’re curious: ua-cam.com/video/rdyTkBQqC2c/v-deo.html. Anyway, I’m really enjoying your channel!
