I really enjoyed having this recent conversation with Tuur Demeester. He was a big influencer for me when first learning about #Bitcoin. We haven't had a recorded conversation in a few years, so here's our newest. - Preston Hey guys, what are your key takeaways from this episode? This one of the best interviews I have heard in a long time. Tuur’s knowledge of the industry and ability to recognize self preservation over being famous is refreshing.
@56:20 The current ASIC machines are more future-proof than most people think. Moore's law still holds true in lab, but not for mass scale production. ASICs from 4 years ago will be permanent bricks soon, but the most recent ASICs hot off the assembly line should be hashing and humming for 7+ years.
I'm really looking forward to the hate from the media when 3nm Bitcoin miners are coming: there will be a time when they outcompete Samsung / Huawei / NVIDIA / AMD / Intel in the line at TSMC, and maybe Apple will be the only company before it, as Apple right now puts the money down years ahead. The current chip shortage will look like nothing compared to a Bitcoin supercycle.

This is an incredible take on the current state of BTC. Best content out there Preston thank you!
What a goldmine this conversation is. Thank you, so many people will listen to the mainstream narrative and miss the whole point for "YEARS".
An amazing conversation. Addition of timestamps would have been cherry on the cake :)
Learned something thank you
What a legend, thanks both

adamant that's funny, in the uk Adam Ant was a pop star who got sectioned.
The 2013 crash was because all the exchanges were DOS attacked (just simple server flooding).
I can't hang for 75 minutes
That's a real shame. You're missing out.
Where in Germany can you rent an apartment for the price of an egg? That is definitely a myth!
Weimar Germany. 1918-1933. Thats what he said.
