Bit of a long rant lol, but a passionate one nonetheless. Shame to see the slow decline of the channel I once held so dear. Seriously, I can't understate what CBBC meant to me as a kid. Seeing that green 2007 logo always invokes so much nostalgia lol. It seemed like it was ALWAYS on in the background as a kid, and was always there to entertain us, whether watching Arthur, League of Super Evil, Splatalot, Copycats, etc before school started, or racing home to watch some Tracy Beaker, Horrible Histories, Strange Hill High, Blue Peter, All at Sea, Worst Year of My Life Again, Roy, etc. I grew to love the routine of watching my favourite shows and discovering new ones because nothing else was on, lol. From about 2010-2016, CBBC was my favourite channel to tune into for all my favourite shows, but what really set CBBC apart was the links and presenters, the ever-changing friendly faces you'd see every day, just mucking about, cracking jokes, playing games and having fun in the CBBC office. And hell, does anyone remember the songs and parodies they made? Serve Up The Jam? We Will Never Have A Milky Brew Together? Call Me Yonko? It's CBBC, if you snooze you lose? The effort to make the channel fun was what made CBBC CBBC, and without the presenters and links, it's just any old corporate kids channel with dwindling budget. Sad really, even after growing up and out of it, I always took some comfort in the fact that CBBC and its revolving cast of presenters would always be there in some form, and entertain many more generations of children as they did me. The need for CBBC seems to have steadily decreased over the years, which is a huge shame. Gen Alpha don't know what they missed out on. Whilst I'm aware that the channel's time is limited, I hope it sticks out long enough for them to do a 40th anniversary special in September 2025. I was watching the 30th anniversary special live as a 10 year old and loved it lol, hope they get to do a 40th. Would be a lovely send off to the channel as we know it. Will be very sad to see it go but we'll always have the memories at least ❤
Very well said here’s hoping for the 40th! I’m sure they will since they did it with the doctor who series but yeah I get the jist. I grew up watching it and it certainly would be a great sendoff
I remember when Hacker was first introduced. Well he was originally a character from a series called “Scoop” about a reporter trying anything he can to get “the scoop”. Hacker didn’t even speak on the show (until season 2). Then he made an appearance in the CBBC HQ as part of a skit, the presenters start talking about the show Martha Speaks, a show where a dog gains the ability to talk from eating alphabet soup, the first presenter expresses their scepticism that dogs don’t speak, the second presenter assures the first presenter that dogs do speak and that he can prove it, up pop Hacker to say hello, this baffles the first presenter as the second presenter introduces the show to the audience. I’m impressed that Hacker has been a CBBC HQ presenter for so many years.
Yeah I always found it interesting how Hacker evolved from him in Scoop to being a main presenter, also mentioning Scoop I have to say... DIGBY DIGWOOOOOOOOORTTTTHHHHHHHHH You're welcome everyone
My most memorable moment in the CBBC office was during Children In Need when they made a short rock song about how much they love Pudsey. This was nostalgia at its finest.
I remember watching CBBC when I was off sick from school. The amount of random shows - wither that be one off series' or multiple long series' - will always live long in my mind. Some of them were weird and wacky and some were actually educational and I loved it. I think my favourite series' were the Dumping Ground, Wolfblood, Nowhere Boys, and Horrible Histories. It's sad to think their is children out there that will not grow up with the same shows as us.
I really can't believe this first Pop Girls removed then Kix then CITV and now they're thinking of closing CBBC channel (I hope it's not true), why are they doing this because if they keep removing kids channel then there won't be any past cartoons/anime on freeview freesat to watched. What has happen to the old days when there are more cartoons to watched on the weekend just like in the 90s/ 2000.
I'm a younger watcher of CBBC, and I remember watching Kix and POP at 4 pm when I came back from school. Considering the amount of anime that existed on Kix and POP, it's sad to see it go.
CBBC was my iconic childhood that I watched presentation link like Ed and Oucho, Dan and Jeff and Iain and Hacker etc. Especially watching Saturday Morning Kids Block not like CBBC but CITV such as Holly and Stephen’s Saturday Showdown and Toonattik.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Britain needs a revival of the 1980s/90s The Children's Channel, dedicated to getting the classics of UK kids TV (and some US and other) altogether on one network.
Back in the day all they needed for “presentation” was to slap a camera and a mic in the presentation suite and call it “the broom cupboard”… it was probably an old camera too so cost zero and the “presenter” cued the shows and literally was in control of the channel.
i started watching around 2013 (quite a late watcher) but i really enjoyed it!! i remember coming home and watching cbbc nonstop and going on the website to play the amazing games on there for hours!! gonna miss cbbc
It's quite sad about things like kids TV channels. Technology is mostly amazing on how you can watch especially old clips that bring a lot of good memories however it does mean you wouldn't want to watch anything on an actual TV screen thanks to streaming such as Netflix/BBC iPlayer because you can now watch in different ways.
Yes, when I saw a random behind the scenes videos a few months ago and seeing they used a greenscreen makes me feel so sad 😢. Part of my childhood gone from that 😢
It's kind of amazing to think the presenters of survived this long when you consider how long ago ITV ditched the whole concept. For me, I distinctly remember the era when CITV had a studio segment during their after school block. Then of course on the weekends there was Toonatik, although for me that was the tail end of my time engaging in weekend morning kids TV. Before that there was Up On The Roof, on Saturdays my earliest memories were that of GMTV Kids, Disney Club (with very vivid memories of Feane Cotton winning a presenters competition which started her whole career), Which then became Diggit, rjen Dig'n'it before ending. And of course who could forget SM TV live? It's original three hosts going on to big things.
With these changes, and likely going online only, my question is why would any child willingly go to the iPlayer and watch linear CBBC? Surely this just ensures the death of this as a wider platform
I'm guessing that parents would probably prefer their kids go watch linear CBBC on iPlayer rather than go into the wild world of the occasionally very messed up stuff you can watch elsewhere on the internet
Honestly, the news that CBBC could disappear soon hit me in a very strange way. My first thought wasn't "Oh no! My childhood!", but rather "Oh no! My hypothetical children's childhood!". So much of my formative years was spent either actively watching CBBC or with CBBC on in the background. I can't imagine my childhood without it. I think I'd have been lost without it. You can't go outside and play every day. Most days are gonna largely consist of your average, mundane, after-school ennui. What do you fill that time with now? I was already using the internet when CBBC was on, so it's not really like the internet fills that niche. What's going to be in the background whilst kids work on their homework or tidy their room? Like, what is there to DO now where you don't have to ACTIVELY be engaged the whole time. Even Reels and TikTok...etc. require scrolling every 7 seconds.
Thank god someone actually mentioning programmes I remember. But what this does demonstrate with all these new programmes is CBBC had/has still a lot of impact for many generations younger than me.
What about parents who don't have internet etc 😢😢i wish I grew up with Nickelodeon. And Disney but had to have cbbc Lol the ending I'm surprised they allowed that on cbbc
Would love a CBBC history video, covering childrends tv on the bbc before 1985. 1985-2002 when it was a regular thing on bbc 1 and 2. and 2002 to now with its own channel and how it all work and whys etc
CBBC still have some live lessons planned for 2025, however, It will only have one year to last. I mean why can’t they do what RTE jr do in Ireland and mix the shows.
I agree I've been a BBC fan all my life I remember watching Phillip Schofield with Gordon The Gofer, then the other hosts with Ed the Duck and So on. My kids grew up watching it and ended up watching bits of it when they were students as the humour of Hacker T Dog was hilarious, also we were all too old but we were able to watch the brilliant Horrible Histories, if this went online we big kids won't be allowe to watch them and it's a shame as it was always a special time for parent and kids to watch tv together. Also I agree the hosts in-between the shows were the best thing. But times are changing and if BBC have already decided then there's no going back.
@@SeaShantyProductions yeah unless if CBeebies would extend their hours so that the channel can continue to stay on till 8pm or 9pm? Or if bbc two or one could show cbbc programmes.
I guess presentation links in regards to linking one program to another would become unnecessary but something similar that more goes as extra content or updates. This could be skits related to shows, behind the scenes stuff, interviews. Different takes on the show. Segments that are front and center on the website can suggest new programmes and direct kids on what to watch.
CBBC was a big part of my childhood I grew up watching the channel from the CBBC Office era from 2008 with Ed and Oucho, Iain, Hacker, Chris, London, Katie, Karim and guest presenters Sam and Mark when it was the school holidays. I can’t believe I’m now in my 20s and about to watch the channel closedown next year from watching shows like TMI, Tracy Beaker, Raven, Prank Patrol, Chucklevision and The Next Step.
now a part of my childhood has disappeared cause of cbbc planning to shutting down. i grew up with it since before the logo changed in 2016 now 8 or 7 years have gone by and look where we are. bbc decided to change their logo in 2023, march. im sad cbbc is shutting down. hope it returns sometime. EDIT: I was maybe 5 or 6 when I started watching cbbc back in 2016.. who knows! I also remember the past logo before the 2023 updated logo.
Ed and Oucho were always my favourite but the success that Hacker and even Dodge have had over the years is incredibly impressive and id love to see Hacker do a DJ set 😂
I'm not sure if the whole 'short attention span' thing isn't a bit overstated? We still see kids watching 2 hour long animated movies. Maybe CBBC original shows are just struggling to keep attention? I missed the last time they reviewed their content guidelines? Are they maybe playing things too safe? Always a potential danger in that industry. My 13-year-old cousin has ADHD yet seems to have no issue watching episode after episode of standard 25 minute shows. Then again she is also on the autism spectrum (Like myself) so maybe that cancels that out?
I grew up with cbbc from like 2011-2018, and be honest there are still a few shows I enjoyed watching even as a 22, but only really watch on bbc iPlayer. while I understand that they can’t keep the presenters, it will always be sad. It was my childhood and seeing it gone will always makes me sad. Hopefully these presenters will be able to get a job still.
@@davidblyth6886 Or maybe you just grew up? My golden era was 2010-2016 but you don't hear me going on about how it went downhill after I stopped watching, because it didn't. I just grew out of it.
Honestly, I got my fingers crossed that things don't take a really drastic turn with CBBC, though I'm still glad CBeebies isn't going anywhere from traditional TV, and that's a good thing, too. And heh, boy, the clip you put at the end before the video's outro really takes me back to all the comedy skits CBBC brought (like the Incredible Edible gag and Chris getting the unfortunate nickname of "Yonko").
My oppinion is that with CITV going online only and CBBC projected to we are seeing more off the ereasure of "kids spaces" in media and online. Kids are spilling onto modern soical media and video sharing platforms and its haivng a negitive impact on their mental health and development.
I'm a 21 year old so I do remember watching CITV at 6am and at 7 30am from 2013-2018. I was so disappointed when I learned CITV was gone because I could tell you a list if the shows that are gone like Max Steel, Ninjago, Pokémon, etc. It just makes me sad but also nostalgic considering how inspirational all three of the aforementioned shows were.
It feels weird watching this just after tomska put out a video about the death of skit comedy. I haven’t watched cbbc or citv in years, but I hope they don’t get rid of the skits, it’s such an identifiable characteristic of the channel.
We need stuff like CBBC more than ever, I dread the day when proper childrens programming and educational shows are gutted so all that is left is a slurry of quick cash grab online brain rot algoslop content, AI generated sludge, sleezy youtube/tiktok infulencers and hyper partisan political videos. Love this channel its great to see someone defend the positive sides of the BBC and public television which for the past decade has been brutally attacked by astrofurfing campaigns and well funded political actors. I've always held to the idea that campaigns like defund the BBC where propped up by wealthy interest groups that have a vested desire to see British public TV gutted and sadly median voters have been falling for it. On a lighter note I grew up watching CBBC in primary school during the 90s and 2000s and loved stuff like the demon headmaster, queens nose and much more. So I would hate to see such a touchdown that has inspired many generations of children, dissappear.
I hope CBBC will continue because if it goes online what will happen to Saturday Mash-Up! which is the closest to the live Saturday morning shows we all grew up with
@@carlbradley3627 Saturday Mash Up might move to BBC Two at like morning times around 9-11:30am. so it won’t get cancelled unless if they put it to the IPlayer for the fans and viewers to watch.
What I find frustrating about this isn't that it's happening, I suspect it's necessary. It's that we're expected to pay a license and have no say in how that money is allocated
I was watching a bit of the CBBC Channel recently. I was really disappointed to see that the links are so infrequent, and they're just green screen stuff now. They don't even have someone doing voiceover continuity announcements.
The original bbc3 was fantastic, the only programme I watched when it returned was the 10th anniversary episode of Bad Education, all the comedy on there now isn’t funny. I’d sooner have moved that back online and keep CBBC
It’s such a shame that CBBC has been in a slow decline for a number of years now. I grew up watching CBBC from 2012 to 2017. Now I’m 17. 😢 I would prefer if they kept the links in studio cause the only other time i can remember links being like this was UTV before they got rid of them in 2016
[4:12] Man, seeing the newsroom of the CBBC really gives me a lot of memories for it. Also, one more thing....what happened to the CITV, though? Like im pretty sure it has vanished off in television.
I heard they stopped doing presenter cuts a while ago. Now it's pre recorded scripts or done with what appears to be a green screen outside of the studio. Really takes away any appeal of the channel. So unfortunate that this channel is dying slowly. Meant a lot to me in my younger years.
10:33-10:34 the guy on the left (called nick) was also a presenter on nickelodeon uk from like 2010-2013. i only know that because he hosted "anubis unlocked" and some fruit shoot competition around 2013
Dont watch an awful lot of traditional TV nowadays, but on a trip to the coast i watched Freeview. I was pretty disappointed to see just 2 channels for the kids, but i will say CBBC's programming was a lot better than i was expecting, the investment into animation is a sensible and forward-thinking bet, build up a streaming library at a time other studios are pulling out of that side of the industry.
I really miss in vision continuity announcements. UTV was one of the last UK networks to have these until ITV completed its takeover and sucked the soul out of the channel. A man called Julian Simmonds was a huge local meme in Northern Ireland because of the commentary he used to do on Coronation Street. Sad that he’s no longer there.
So they want to privitise parts of BBC production, hoping it will make things cheaper? Have they not seen how privitisation affected other public services? When will they learn? 🤦♂️
Probably another lets employee the presenters on the BBC Studios - cough cough, we don't show what we pay them and have them paid through companies as freelancer, but still have all the employee requirements just like other business, have employees, but don't pay of the benefits of it, but in this case just another tax doge.
The shortened attention span is one reason for the shorter programmes. The other is the EU's requirements for children's programmes. These must not be interrupted by adverts. In order for broadcasters to still be able to air the permitted 12 minutes of advertising per hour, the programmes have to be shorter because nobody will sit through 6 minutes of advertising after a 24-minute programme before the next programme starts. With 3 minutes of ads, fewer people will change the channel.
@@Justi806-s1j CBBC used to be so good back in the days but now it’s becoming “unpopular” that means that this children’s channel CBBC is not even that popular as it was used to be anymore with these boring and stupid presenters and presentation links and all this and that. 2007-2016 was the best era for CBBC.
Cost cutting is probably why they charge actors in long running tv shows, dumping ground for example. Should have ended at series 10 nice round number but reset it again like I mention previously. Actors are slightly older than OG Cast but not as old as previous cast either. I would say dumping ground probably got 3 to 5 series left with its current cast. Tho I have stopped watching it now. CBeebies will go online after tv moved online. It’s just matter of when sky(freesat likely to end same time. Freeview a bit longer but freely & sky glass.
sadly unlikely as lot of adult cartoons are from networks like comedy central etc so unless we get a network like that thats UK based or Channel 4 does something unlikely i don't see BBC ever doing that the furthest they will go is Wallace and Gromit 😂 and i don't see ITV doing it maybe channel 4 as they used to do stuff like phonejacker?
This one is technically Irish with Shonen and Negrounds influences, but Speedoru's Punch Punch Forever is a pretty good watch. It only had two episodes at the moment tho
@@TeardownReuse Well actually there's already some British adult animation that the BCC made in the past like "Stressed Eric", "Rex The Runt" "Aaaagh! It's The Mr. Hell Show!" and "MonkeyDust" that and ITV already made an adult cartoon in the form of "2DTV" which was sort like an animated version of Spitting Image. So yeah no offence there dear pal, but your opinion means dick in this conversation so there!.

I felt like Oucho was underused and undervalued. I think he lasted about 3 years and was never seen again, bar special appearances. I could never take to Hacker. I found him and his sidekick Iain Stirling, extremely irritating and I've never been able to watch anything with the man in ever since (yet another reason to not watch Love Island 😂).
the in studio stuff, dick and dom in da bungalow, toonattik, Ministry of Mayhem, and SMTV live were deffo a reason i kept watching i think there was a funny period in 2007ish when CBBC changed the studio that just had voice over links (mostly Abs and Rani i think) and i hated it, felt lifeless

@@tga-hz7jf I watch tv when WiFi is off
Would love a CBBC history video, covering childrends tv on the bbc before 1985. 1985-2002 when it was a regular thing on bbc 1 and 2. and 2002 to now with its own channel and how it all work and whys etc
I'm so going to miss the CBBC Channel when it closes 😭
Of course you will
@@SeaShantyProductions yeah unless if CBeebies would extend their hours so that the channel can continue to stay on till 8pm or 9pm? Or if bbc two or one could show cbbc programmes.
@@sully.chowpaaji that would never happen
@@SeaShantyProductions Why???
@@SeaShantyProductions same I am gonna miss this children’s channel when it closes it made my childhood and it was so iconic back in the days?
I guess presentation links in regards to linking one program to another would become unnecessary but something similar that more goes as extra content or updates.
This could be skits related to shows, behind the scenes stuff, interviews. Different takes on the show.
Segments that are front and center on the website can suggest new programmes and direct kids on what to watch.
CBBC was a big part of my childhood I
grew up watching the channel from the CBBC Office era from 2008 with Ed and Oucho, Iain, Hacker, Chris, London, Katie, Karim and guest presenters Sam and Mark when it was the school holidays. I can’t believe I’m now in my 20s and about to watch the channel closedown next year from watching shows like TMI, Tracy Beaker, Raven, Prank Patrol, Chucklevision and The Next Step.
The 90's & 00's had the best in Children's Television, makes me appreciate how lucky I was in my childhood days
now a part of my childhood has disappeared cause of cbbc planning to shutting down. i grew up with it since before the logo changed in 2016 now 8 or 7 years have gone by and look where we are. bbc decided to change their logo in 2023, march. im sad cbbc is shutting down. hope it returns sometime.
EDIT: I was maybe 5 or 6 when I started watching cbbc back in 2016.. who knows! I also remember the past logo before the 2023 updated logo.
So literally no kids shows on actual television 🥺
Ed and Oucho were always my favourite but the success that Hacker and even Dodge have had over the years is incredibly impressive and id love to see Hacker do a DJ set 😂
Great video mate … yep I have been on earth a bit longer than you and just remember CBBC starting “ in the broom cupboard’
GOD TOONATIC BRINGS ME BACK! ITS HOW I FIRST WATCHED BEN 10 AS A KID
R.I.P CBBC, you were my childhood. 😭😭😭
Cbbc died when Otis the aardvark left
@@davidblyth6886 Everyone has different opinions.

You could say "favourite channel I grew up as a kid" but whatever...
I grew up with Ed and Oucho, Ian and Hacker and Chris and London on cbbc
I would pass away if CBBC was shut down.
2 years prior they said they would
@@mrjta4087 oof!
So much creativity and history slowly melting away. Thr crew and creatives that made it what it was. I hope they can all find work elsewhere.
Soooo…where’s the money for the tv licence been going then? Wasn’t that the whole point of it was to help make revenue across departments?!?
It feels weird watching this just after tomska put out a video about the death of skit comedy. I haven’t watched cbbc or citv in years, but I hope they don’t get rid of the skits, it’s such an identifiable characteristic of the channel.
Much of the Presentation is on the way out sadly. There’s no need for it on streaming services…😔
Thanks for making a video on this
My pleasure!
@@AdamMartyn No worries!
Hacker the Dog is about to be put down…
Well, Looks like his days and months are numbered.
Hacker T Dog is iconic. Soooo funny.
I hope CBBC will continue because if it goes online what will happen to Saturday Mash-Up! which is the closest to the live Saturday morning shows we all grew up with
Saturday Mash Up might get cancelled or the BBC might end it so that they can put that to the IPlayer instead for viewers and fans to watch.
@@carlbradley3627 Saturday Mash Up might move to BBC Two at like morning times around 9-11:30am. so it won’t get cancelled unless if they put it to the IPlayer for the fans and viewers to watch.
Soooooo many good cbbc programs like basil brush , stupid , raven , trapped and that’s only a few !!!
They don't even have someone doing voiceover continuity announcements.
this is why bbc bring back bbc III. to make everyone forget about cbbc.
The original bbc3 was fantastic, the only programme I watched when it returned was the 10th anniversary episode of Bad Education, all the comedy on there now isn’t funny. I’d sooner have moved that back online and keep CBBC
Hi Adam long time no see i love CBBC special times i used to watch see it saw it the Sarah Jane Smith adventure Arthur ect ect miss it SU garden ❤
Thanks Adam SU garden
Hope they don't ditch Hacker. Love him
I think Hacker has a UA-cam channel so if CBBC shuts down, I think that will be his new home.
It’s such a shame that CBBC has been in a slow decline for a number of years now. I grew up watching CBBC from 2012 to 2017. Now I’m 17. 😢 I would prefer if they kept the links in studio cause the only other time i can remember links being like this was UTV before they got rid of them in 2016
Wait is it really gone?😣
saw cbbc back on bbc2 on saturday morning until 9am
[4:12] Man, seeing the newsroom of the CBBC really gives me a lot of memories for it.
Also, one more thing....what happened to the CITV, though? Like im pretty sure it has vanished off in television.
I heard they stopped doing presenter cuts a while ago. Now it's pre recorded scripts or done with what appears to be a green screen outside of the studio. Really takes away any appeal of the channel. So unfortunate that this channel is dying slowly. Meant a lot to me in my younger years.
CBBC was great, was. The BBC and children have a sketchy past to begin with, so I dont see them not being relevant to todays kids as a bad thing.
I miss ian sterling and hacker
I really miss in vision continuity announcements. UTV was one of the last UK networks to have these until ITV completed its takeover and sucked the soul out of the channel.
A man called Julian Simmonds was a huge local meme in Northern Ireland because of the commentary he used to do on Coronation Street. Sad that he’s no longer there.
So they want to privitise parts of BBC production, hoping it will make things cheaper? Have they not seen how privitisation affected other public services? When will they learn? 🤦♂️
God I hope it is. Finally a generation of people will grow up not clutching onto their childhood obsession with a puppet

I don’t want CBBC to die.
It was not my era but i watched the 2002-2005 idents like no tommoroow
Cost cutting is probably why they charge actors in long running tv shows, dumping ground for example. Should have ended at series 10 nice round number but reset it again like I mention previously. Actors are slightly older than OG Cast but not as old as previous cast either. I would say dumping ground probably got 3 to 5 series left with its current cast. Tho I have stopped watching it now. CBeebies will go online after tv moved online. It’s just matter of when sky(freesat likely to end same time. Freeview a bit longer but freely & sky glass.
How ever It Cutsback into digital space
rip hacker the dog growing up with him his life was funny i never realised and he was killed off in canon he will be missed
I wonder when a good uk cartoon made for adults will come.
sadly unlikely as lot of adult cartoons are from networks like comedy central etc
so unless we get a network like that thats UK based or Channel 4 does something unlikely
i don't see BBC ever doing that the furthest they will go is Wallace and Gromit 😂 and i don't see ITV doing it maybe channel 4 as they used to do stuff like phonejacker?
This one is technically Irish with Shonen and Negrounds influences, but Speedoru's Punch Punch Forever is a pretty good watch. It only had two episodes at the moment tho
@@TeardownReuse Well actually there's already some British adult animation that the BCC made in the past like "Stressed Eric", "Rex The Runt" "Aaaagh! It's The Mr. Hell Show!" and "MonkeyDust" that and ITV already made an adult cartoon in the form of "2DTV" which was sort like an animated version of Spitting Image. I mean, Generation Alpha is the target age demographic for this channel (the very oldest being roughly 13 years old as of right now) so it makes sense that it is allegedly moving online only.
There goes my Saturday. Great. Im just sad.
CBBC everyone watched I watched it growing up and every day you wake up in the morning and you see Hacker T Dog just not having him on the TV would be just be terrible. We remember waking in the morning before school and that would be the first thing you were turned on would be CBBC after school. You come back again to watch it and don’t forget that New so you would get at 5 o’clock everyone loved that but not having it anymore. It would just be horrible and CBBC be gone. I can’t believe I’m hearing that.😳Rip 😢 sorry I forgot there are some families which don’t have Internet so they cannot be able to watch it. Just think about that as well if CBBC do go online.
I swear if CBBC shuts down, WE RIOT!

These CBBC presentation links, in my point of view, is very much live on-air just like Cbeebies.
