DmC Devil May Cry is not included because at least it plays solidly and doesn't look crap, unlike most of these games like Sonic 06, Dungeon Keeper, or Bomberman: Act Zero.
The only good thing about Sonic 06 was the inclusion of Silver the Hedgehog and the Sonic 06 level in Sonic Generations. But unlike what some other people think, Sonic 06 didn’t kill the franchise as we got good games like the aforementioned Sonic Generations, Sonic Colors, Sonic Mania and Sonic Frontiers.

I'm surprised "Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric" wasn't mentioned in this video. I consider that a reboot instead of "Sonic '06". SEGA didn't even make a profit from the combined Wii U and 3DS sales of the "Sonic Boom" games. The Wii U version had several glitches and needing to pause several times to access the map. "Sonic Boom" had more changes to the Sonic characters while "Sonic '06" kept many characters' backstories (I don't think Maria even exists in the 'Sonic Boom' universe).
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is a spin-off, not a reboot. The game was meant to be released on PS4 and Xbox One but because of exclusivity deal, it was only released on Wii U

Sonic 06 only sucked because the makers released it before they fixed all the bugs. If they needed more time to release it, they could have just said so.
It really is a shame that the new Golden Axe game did not work so well. I for one was pretty into the Golden Axe games, especially Revenge of Death Adder.
In Homefront the Revolution defense, the game did get patched to fix the performance. Originally it stuck around 22 frames per second and would drop pretty much when anything happened. But a patch was able to get the game to stay at 30 frames per second. But even then the general gameplay wasn’t very good. And it is ridiculous that even release the game in that state.
Hot take: While it didn't suck I really was not a fan of God of War 2018. It's not a complete reboot but a soft one and not a horrible game which is why it won't be on this list but repetitive boss fights and a cliffhanger ending really bring the game down for me. I like the dynamic between Kratos and Atreus but it is nowhere near as compelling as Joel or Ellie. Finally, I believe Rdr2 was robbed of goty that year for many reasons. I found that game vastly more impressive than GOW 2018 in every respect and Arthur Morgan is simply the best videogame character ever.
@@avinashsanga5840 That's a good point but it didn't have to lose the creativity and variety in boss fights it had in the previous games. The game pales in comparison to 3 in that regard. 3 has some of the greatest boss fights in any videogame ever. Look Ragnarok largely solved this issue which is why I prefer it but it doesn't take away the fact that 4 really dropped the ball in its fights. The same troll over and over again gets old real quick.
Although Ninja Theory’s DmC’s story wasn’t that pleasing, and their version of Dante was unlikeable, it still had great gameplay, graphics, and music. It’s actually worth playing more than Devil May Cry 2.

Glad you didn't include The Legend of Spyro trilogy. I love the original trilogy from PS1, but I found this reboot a bit little underrated and it deserved better.

Sonic 06 had so much potential in my opinion. It had great graphics & a great soundtrack, but everything else ruined it. The thing I hated most about it was that the loading times would take forever.
