Don't forget we also had live action Saturday Morning shows like the New Zoo Review, Banana Splits, KROFT SUPERSTARS, Kids are people too, and Wonderama. What a child hood we had..
I recently watched a few clips of the New Zoo Review. I don't know how I'd forgotten the cute lady in the mini skirts. Very nice style, all the way around, she had!
Seems like I remember a cartoon called "Lassie's Rescue Rangers" based on the old Lassie TV series from the 50's. The cartoon was ran in the mid 70's. I having a hard time remembering because it's an early Saturday mourning cartoon memory.
Interesting note about the I Dream of Jeannie cartoon. Jeannie's apprentice Babu was voiced by veteran actor Joe Besser, who took over for Shemp in the Three Stooges after Shemp's death. Besser also worked with Abbott and Costello. And yes, there was a Three Stooges cartoon! There was the series the Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly Joe DeRita) did in the 1960s, the New Three Stooges (which ran from 1965-66) and then there was the Robonic Stooges (the Stooges as robots) in 1977-78.
Omg! junkman! Great episode, loved it. Do more on Saturday morning cartoons. I loved Saturday morning cartoons in the 70's an 80's. I would be up at 6am and sit glued to the tv till 1pm every Saturday.

Warning, warning,!!! I never knew anything about the Lost in Space cartoon. Thanks for the education Mr. Junkman. Entertainment and education, what an amazing channel my friend.
Definitely watched the Duke Boys on any medium we could. Definitely remember Gilligans Island. For some reason the Lost in Space looks real familiar. Perhaps a Mandela effect...
Mad, Mad Monsters was the best Saturday Superstar Movie, a kind of prequel to Mad Monster Party. The Brady Kids had its moments, especially with Superman, Wonder Woman, and The Lone Ranger and Tonto. And didja know Bewitched inspired the 'Magical Girl' genre of Anime, starting with Sally the Witch?
Gidget began as a series of books, as I recall. Then the book became a movie... then a series of movies. Then there’s a tv series in the 1960s. Then in the 1980s, during a revival fever of 1960s shows, there was The New Gidget tv series, which had a nice theme song. Also checkout Munsters Today and especially The New Leave It to Beaver.
I watched that cartoon and I forgot about its existence. The Dukes of Hazzard. I can't even remember if there were toys, I know I had toys for the TV series.
I remember the live action Tabitha in the mid-70s. I don’t think it lasted very long. I watched it, but was probably 6 or 7 so barely remember anything. No memory at all of a brother Adam from either that or Bewitched. That Girl was on super-early in Louisville Saturday mornings one the 70s. I’d get up at 6 and watch that, 3 Stooges and Rin-Tin-Tin before toons would start up. Never knew about the cartoon. The only ones of these I ever heard of were the Gilligan spin offs. Never saw those though. Good video!
@That Junkman The character Francine "Gidget" Lawrence was the brainchild of author Friedrich Kohner. And was first introduced in the 1957 novel Gidget, the Little Girl with Big Ideas. Which was followed by seven sequels , five of them original novels. Friedrich Kohner sold the movie rights for the character to Columbia Pictures (through the William Morris Agency) for $50,000. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, the character Gidget was adapted for three films. Gidget (1959), which stared Sandra Dee. Gidget Goes Hawaiian (1961), this time with Deborah Walley in the lead role. Gidget Goes to Rome (1963), this time with Cindy Carol as Gidget. In 1965, the character was adapted for a Screen Gems television sitcom series starring Sally Field. Simply titled Gidget. That ran on ABC from September 15, 1965 to April 21, 1966. In 1969, Karen Valentine took on the role in the telemovie Gidget Grows Up, which was freely adapted from the 1968 novel Gidget Goes New York. This also acted as a sequel to the 1965 sitcom series. Gidget Grows Up was followed by another telemovie in 1972 titled Gidget Gets Married, in which Gidget finally married longtime boyfriend Moondoggie. This time Monie Ellis played the title role. In 1985, a follow-up to the classic 1965 sitcom was launched with the telemovie Gidget's Summer Reunion, starring Caryn Richman as a grown version of the character played by Sally Field. Gidget's Summer Reunion launched a sitcom series titled The New Gidget, which ran for two seasons, 1986-1988.
Wow, Adam from the Tabitha and Adam thing looks pretty "special". As in, modern day school boards probably order books for him in the school library... LMAO. But also, I remember how disappointed my adult friends and I were when Garfield was finally given a voice. That wasn’t Garfield, we all agreed.
Why wasn't there ever a Knight Rider animated series? The toy rights alone would have made someone a lot of money.
You'd almost think that'd be a no-brainer to animate Knight Rider!

I was saying ...” how could a kids show in the 80’s get away with a show with “terror” in its title ?! Well, there’s not! Lol
There was way too much christian and parenting groups going after everybody that wasn’t white and right!
Wow, Adam from the Tabitha and Adam thing looks pretty "special". As in, modern day school boards probably order books for him in the school library...
Speaking of Bewitched related stuff, Dick York is the real Derwood. Dick Sargent was an imposter.
I remember watching the Brady Kids a lot, and especially remember one where they did some sort of rally/race. Actually that's the only one I remember, as I would being a lifelong race fan, thanks in part to Speed Racer (the original, again the only one; the rest being imposters)
The I Dream of Jeannie cartoon's character "babu" probably is REAL good friends with "Adam" from the Tabitha and Adam show. REALLY close....
I remember that Partridge/Jetsons thing. For some reason the part that really brought it back was the robodog eating the huge sandwich.
Great to see you highlight the "Carlton your Doorman" thing! I remember wanting to see it when it came out (hey, I was a dumb kid at the time...) and for some reason didn't catch it. I've wondered if it was any good at all? I remember the character (off screen) on Rhoda seemed funny to this dumb kid (at the time).
