So sorry you have been ill. Hoping and praying you feel better, and that your week gets better 👨
I just want to say a big thank you for this tutorial. As an avid long time crocheter, thus is my first attempt at beading crochet. I struggled thru part one, took it out 3 times before getting it right. I'm now up to part two and it's becoming easier as I go, but still a challenge. The undertaking of his project along with your tutorials is such a great sharing of crochet knowledge, and pure mastery. I thank you again and looking forward to the completion of this project thanks to you!
I think you are going to use all those extra beads on the fringe! This is so much fun…I think I am going to be addicted too!!
Hot tea with honey 🍯🧡🧡 this is so beautiful. The patience ma’am 👏👏 undo work, split nail, sick… it ALWAYS comes in three. Rest and feel better. Sounds like good excuse to snuggle up with Merlin🐾🧡
This is so gorgeous , but please put a beautiful silky lining inside when you’re done. It’s worth it! I think I want to make this!
I have always written each line on a card it was easier to not have to locate the row each time I needed to look at it. This is beautiful.
I reallylike the gold with the red. What a great little purs. Maybe I am going to make beated work, too. It is just elegant looking.
Corina you are so patient, I love to crochet and sew and craft and weave but good golly this is brutal, I'm sat making blankets with my 4.5mm or 5mm hooks, DK yarn and my sweater with a 6mm hook & watching you do this insane tiny stitching with barely there thread and some titchy beads and make something so beautiful 😍 you inspire me but also I cringe, lol. 😂
The bag is coming along very nicely, really looking forward to seeing the finished product.
I do a lot of bead work but never did them on crochet. Might have to give it a go. I just luv beads
Phenomenal, wow that is a beautiful classy bag. It amazes me how you see the stitches. Very clever. Hope you get better soon. ❤
Thank you so much!
Sorry your sick glad ur doing better !! Loving this so much !! Thank You for this !!
Had to chuckle! My nails were always essential tools for crochet & it drove me nuts when I had to file or cut them! And I guess my inability at beaded crochet (could only find bead needles with regular holes way back then) is why I turned to counted cross stitch. Your bag is looking gorgeous! Can't wait to see it completed! Thank you for an excellent and entertaining tutorial! Take good care!
You’ve done a beautiful job and even your work with this pattern just in yarn is quite gorgeous. Sorry to hear you were sick. I hope you’re better now.
Praying that you get better in a few days. Beautiful bag 😊❤
Thank you so much!
I’m so happy you’re on the mend ❤
This is a beautiful design! The skills learned making this bag allow anyone to come up with their own designs as well. A girl can never have too many tools in her arsenal. 😂
I have so many ideas for wedding accessories for brides, bridesmaids, mother of bride, flower girl, Renaissance Festivals, Celtic festivals, etc.
Sorry you got sick. Thank you so much for doing such a great video! I've seen this pattern and loved it! Always wanted to do it! It's even prettier that the picture!
The flu just sucks. Get well soon.
Love the colours you are using for this beautiful bag. ❤
I love this project you chose to do, think of the mosaic projects that can be done using beads! Thank you
So sorry you've got flu. Continue to get better. Big hug.
Absolutely no negativity - French is hard! If you’re interested, the pronunciation is:
“flur” (like “blur” - not “flewer”)
“duh” (but a light schwa sound, not heavy like we would say in English - you’ve got this perfect )
“lee” (the ending “s” of “lis” is silent)
Flur-duh-lee = Fleur-de-lis
The French would add some back-of-the-throat to the ending “r” of “fleur”, but that’s not really necessary for non-French usage.
It’s fun to see some beadwork in crochet. I’ve done very little, but watching this has made me really want to tackle the coin purse I’ve been wanting to try! 😍
It's beautiful, so tiny and intricate ❤️ well done ❤️
Love all the patterns you do. I am sorry you were sick hope you are better. I enjoy all the mystery patterns you and the other the crocheting you do.
Hope you are happy and healthy soon!
Wonderful work, so sorry you've had flu, split nail etc. Feel better soon.
that's beautiful! Your crochet projects blows my mind!
Don't push yourself too much, you hear? Rest if your body needs it. I know crochet isn't exactly a contact sport, but you work your voice in your tutorials
So excited to see the end result ! Thank you so much for sharing your efforts, this is so inspiring.
Thanks for working on this while you are recovering. Feel better soon! And this purse is so beautiful!
Thank you so much!
I’m enjoying this so much. I started my own this weekend. 😊
Glad you're feeling better. I was sad to hear that you've been ill.
Question: I’m curious how you know/figure out the repeats. Sorry if that’s a dumb question but I’m confused looking at this pattern. This bag is absolutely stunning. Well done
Hopefully you're all well since you uploaded this video. Its looking good!!!
Thank you God bless you forever. ..
Hope you’re feeling better! That bag is adorable but I can’t hold on to that little thread anymore.
This beaded bag is so beautiful! I can’t wait to see the final part of the tutorial. And so very glad you are feeling much better too.👍🏻😊
Being sick is horrid, hope you feel better soon. I've loved watching this process!
It's coming up so gorgeous!
This is absolutely gorgeous. I don’t think I would ever have the patience to make it myself though.
So sorry you.very been unwell .. you take care hun and look after yourself… I am just loving this little bag..❤️❤️❤️
Healing light to you. You are amazing. Chicken noodle soup.or if you cannot eat much tea and toast. I usually do 1/2 slice toast at first. Much love.
So beautiful!!
Question: What happens if you run out of beads? Do you have to break your yarn and then rejoin? This bag is so beautiful, by the way.
I would head to the end by unravelling into a ball then add beads an rewind into a ball again, so you'll have beads in-between 2 balls till you get the end ball wound
yes, cut , string up more beads, re-attach and continue, I had to do it a total of 3 times
Love how this is turning out. Do you prefer written instruction or charts for this type of crochet? I’m used to charts because I bead using them.
Hope that cold skedaddles soon!❤
I imagine the bag ends up being quite heavy, right? I've got a beaded bag from the 1950s and its weight surprises me every time I use it.
So sorry to hear you were sick. The purses beautiful. I wonder why you work inside out. If you changed direction and worked from the front you need not keep turning to check placements. I’m not sure if it’s too late to do that for this project however. I think it is too late this time. Keep up the great work! Feel better soon.
Because of the 'anatomy' of the stitch, the bead ends up on the back of the work
❤
💗
I'm wondering if the beads can be substituted with a brassy kind of yarn? But then again -- it wouldn't be much of a beaded purse without them.
This is really cute. Is it worth the effort?
Help please! I’m doing the full pattern that started with the 200 chain. I got to row 23 fine but now I’m confused 😢 I have been keeping my stitch count at 200 and it’s not leaving only 11 stitches at the end of the round it’s leaving 18 and that plus 12 is not 23! 😰 I don’t wanna keep going if this will mess up all future rows so can someone tell me if I’m missing something? Are there supposed to be more or less than 200 stitches by row 23? Where am I going wrong? Tyia!❤ tutorial is great please don’t take my incompetence as a jab at your tutorial as I love all of your videos!!!!
I believe that they lined beaded bags not because things would fall thru but because things put inside the bag directly rub against the stitches invariably weakening the threads, especially those stitches that have a bead snugged up to the outside of them already putting pressure on the thread. This was particularly true when the thread was unwaxed when the bag was made/crocheted. The lining is to protect and preserve all that gorgeous beadwork. All it takes is one stitch to be snagged enough to wear through it to make the whole thing disintegrate. My head hurts for yours! There were definitely times you sounded better and other times that it sounded like you should just lay your head down and close your eyes! Poor thing. Better soonest!🍵🥄🍪🍲🍊
Will there be a rewrite of pattern in the shop.i want to try this so bad but I think im getting in over my head.this is gorgeous and thinking other colors at same time.😊
I did not rewrite the pattern, I simply do not have that kind of time, that’s a lot of extra work, I’m really sorry
@@justvintagecrochet thats ok.i appreciate what you do.
When you're saying to disregard some of the beginning instructions for each row, is that just because you're making it at a smaller size than the original pattern? Or is the pattern written confusingly?
It’s written confusingly, 120 chains follows the required stitch count needed to complete each fleur de Lois perfectly, so it would be just as confusing with 200 chains or 240
Por favor, o DIAGRAMA ! PLEASE, THE DIAGRAM...
