    I remember cars like this in the 1950s and 1960s. Those were the days... Nice model.

    Chevy heads and valve covers on a 428!! Should run really good...or maybe not at all. lol. Thanks MPC! Nice looking result anyway.

      413, let's just say this was the engine Johnny Cash sang about in the song, "One Piece at a Time." As Daniel notes, remember I mentioned the heads and manifold not being correct for a 428 Ford engine? The exhaust ports look alright for a 428 Ford or maybe a big block Chevrolet, but the valve covers don't look right for either a small block or a big block Chevrolet. The ignition is in the wrong place for a Chevrolet. The oil filter is correct for a 428 Ford. From the start, the engine is not a correct example of an FE Ford engine either. So, it's a mutt - but it looks great!     great kits...I built the amt plymouth one...I like how these race cars , offer the chance for you , to come up w/ a paint and decal scheme of your own...also , not a difficult build...just alot of fun...thanx Doug....havva good one
