Amazing. You guys show tutorials the same way flight stewardesses walk you through the safety demonstration, and it's the most effective demonstrations ever.
This feels like all I've seen you say about the knee slice in the perfect format. This format from the last few instructional videos is so good. Can't wait to see where you continue to take it.
This video format with the instruction as VO is leaps and bounds better than what everyone else is doing. Genius work. Great instruction. I steal all your shit for my own teaching.
I love this format of video. The combination of narration and demo is a great way to fit a huge amount of instruction in one 20 minute video. Thanks guys!
Just saying that this vid is my bjj passing Quran. I watch this religiously. Also all you and birds rolling vids. My bjj got way better by just watching you guys!!
Andrew, you are 90% of the reason I pass the people in my gym. The other 10% is them not watching your videos even though I tell them to. You're the man.
Professor Andrew your the best. I remember the shoulder pressure i adapted to my game thanks for the 500 taps i did in like 5 mins was the best moments of life ill keep trying to get better at them. Keep teaching us all forever. Im student of big o rip. Thanks a lot Im the one who said i want to be like you, and still everyone does. i learned so much in those days. Thank you happy holidays.
Excellant stuff. I couldn't help but notice the constant tugging at the bottom of your rash guard. The best technique to avoid this is tucking in your rash guard. When I see this it reminds of seeing a self conscious teenager who wore a skirt that's too short. All the best.
I'm here trying to figure out if the best part of this video is the top-tier instruction and production value, or if it's that it sounds so much like it's Christian Slater narrating.
Hey guys I crushed two sets of balls when dropping my knee like lead and kneed someone in the head when shooting it like a cannonball. Am I on the right track?
@@jillianellis5286 I’m just under a year into my white belt and it works pretty well for me. No one’s ever taught it to me other than Andrews videos so I’d say it’s real lololol
You should not feel pain. What you may be doing is tweaking your knee instead of your hip. Your hip-knee-foot should always be in a line so if your knee has to be facing away from the opponent just like Andrew shows in your time stamp, you hip should internally rotate to follow it. What may be happening is that you just like me have little hip mobility and thus compensate by forcing the movement on your knee. Check some internal rotation execises.
The basic tenents being the same, what kind of adaptations/considerations need to be considered for gi usage? For example, it seems like one cannot slide the foot across so easily if the opponent has a hold of the pant.
when doing the diving knee cut / dlr knee cut, does the angle of the trapped knee matter? i find that the diving knee cut is hard to hit when my partner is positioned in a z guard like position from bottom headquarters (kaynan duarte style). appreciate the dope content.
gordon ryan would release this as a 12 part series for 279.99
Exactly it's so annoying
A piece:)
It's the people fault for buying it 😂😂😂
If the consumer pays I cant say I blame him ha. Does suck for us reasonable people tho
Well, this guy has an instructional about this. This is just a short version
"What is a concussion compared to victory, victory is eternal." - Had me dying😂😂😂😂
Compiled the whole DF knee slice dvd into a 22min vid. Very impressive
This is by far the best Headquarters/Knee Cut instruction I've ever seen.
I love the voice over instead of doing the move and lecturing at the same time
This is waaay better than 90% of instructionals on BJJ Fanatics

Seriously! This edit format is fantastic!!
I feel spoiled with all the free technique. I am eternally grateful . 🙏👽
Insane. I'm going to spend the next couple months spamming knee slices and coming back here to check what I messed up. Thanks!
This video format with the instruction as VO is leaps and bounds better than what everyone else is doing. Genius work. Great instruction. I steal all your shit for my own teaching.
Wiltse for President.
Thank you for this. I hope sharing this for free turns out to be a good decision for you guys financially! You deserve it
This is a fantastic instructional format with the narration and drawings. Detailed, but very concise at the same time. Thanks!
I agree.. besides it is not an easy thing to do!
this format was incredible - keep up the great work. can't wait to ruin people's days now
One of the best instructional vids I've seen on youtube
I appreciate that you always add some details even though you cover this move a lot. It’s easily my most developed and favorite pass
amazing lots of love from sweden
This is one of the best instructional videos I've watched. Solid details from one of the best. Thank you.
Legitimately one of the most helpful instructionals I've found on youtube. Great stuff!
Coach you're a stud. Thanks for the breakdown. #PandaSquad
Very detailed! Funny and informative, keep up the great work guys!
this is the best passing for bjj absoluly ,thank you for sharing
The amount of value here
I love this format of video. The combination of narration and demo is a great way to fit a huge amount of instruction in one 20 minute video. Thanks guys!

Wow dudes, the detail in this instructional is incredible. I love how you show the details in the move over and over with slight variations.
My favorite pass for sure, gonna dissect this
Thank you guys for posting this! Awesome explanations!
Andrew, you are 90% of the reason I pass the people in my gym. The other 10% is them not watching your videos even though I tell them to.
You're the man.
Amazing work! So compact and full of information 🤯 not to mention it is free. Thank you Andrew
super high quality videos lately
Love this video. Keep up the great work Wiltse
We miss you Andrew, you relatable wizard. Life is weird and that’s okay. Come back when you good. I miss you…
I love you

Andrew, thank you so much for this !
This is amazing.
Thank you guys for taking the time to do this ! A++ info
Absolute gold!
Great video 🙌🏻
Thanks for the video! I knee slice all the time, but this should help clean things up a bit, as I often get caught in quarter guard.
This is class!
Good stuff right here
Loving the content!
Here for the background 🎶 music 😊... and the jujitsu 🌄
Great video, super informative
Fantastic. Thank you!
17:45 knee shield counter 19:40 underhook counter
This is awesome, thanks guys.

I couldn’t help but notice your irrelevant observation and your crappy spelling. The best technique to avoid this is to talk less and read more.
I'm here trying to figure out if the best part of this video is the top-tier instruction and production value, or if it's that it sounds so much like it's Christian Slater narrating.
I would happily pay for this just pls release more
this is amazing man thank you so much
You are best ! Andrew .very like you video!
Love the info / hate the annoying bgm - but it's still great
Hey guys I crushed two sets of balls when dropping my knee like lead
and kneed someone in the head when shooting it like a cannonball. Am I on the right track?
love it! slice'm up
Always loved the knee slice. how do you feel about using the knee slice with an over hook as a bait for front headlock attacks?
Dope thanks bras
Would’ve been funny if, as an April fools prank, every single detail in this video was false and misleading.
“Make sure you secure the undertook in all cases before going for the knee slice, repummeling isn’t a real thing.”
If the entire video was like what I said here it would be perfect
Is it? I’m a baby white belt and don’t know any better 😂
@@jillianellis5286 I’m just under a year into my white belt and it works pretty well for me. No one’s ever taught it to me other than Andrews videos so I’d say it’s real lololol
The april fool is us getting good at this 😅😢
The testicles of my training partners will never know what hit them tomorrow.
amazing!!!!
My knee feels tweaked if I turn towards them in a knee slice, like at 3:42. Do you just get used to it, or is my angle wrong?
You should not feel pain. What you may be doing is tweaking your knee instead of your hip. Your hip-knee-foot should always be in a line so if your knee has to be facing away from the opponent just like Andrew shows in your time stamp, you hip should internally rotate to follow it. Bomberman music!
do you already have a video on breaking the low knee shield lock and then passing the fucker ? thanks
Holy shit this is good!
Can you drop a video on how you set up and execute your sweep single?
awesome! next time use a different color rashguard though
The basic tenents being the same, what kind of adaptations/considerations need to be considered for gi usage? For example, it seems like one cannot slide the foot across so easily if the opponent has a hold of the pant.
Oh so that is what im doing wrong. I didn't know i supposed to bring a circular saw to the gym. 😊
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
How do you avoid ball smashing?
That bomberman 64 music.
How do you prevent the opponent from immediately putting you in deep half before your knee hits the mat?
when doing the diving knee cut / dlr knee cut, does the angle of the trapped knee matter? i find that the diving knee cut is hard to hit when my partner is positioned in a z guard like position from bottom headquarters (kaynan duarte style). appreciate the dope content.
What video game is the music from it sounds like a video game and familiar 😆

Fucking wicked. Excellent.
Wow
Is there way to prevent the chance of injuring your meniscus while knee slicing?
Are you feeling pressure when your foot gets trapped?

I see myself knee spearing alot of training partners in the balls.
An MMA fighter in my local area popped a testicle due to a knee slice gone wrong
This whole time I thought I just couldn’t knee slice, but I’ve just had a fundamental bad understanding of it
I'm new to this but has nobody thought "is this narrated by Christian Slater?"
The 35-0 score with 5:00 left about 40 seconds in… lol
Oss
Miss you guys hope all is well!!!!!!!
I bad at bjj 😢
Lol what is a concussion compared to victory, lol
“No underhook no knee slice” that’s just not true sir!!!!!
Everything you need to know, except how to do it.
This kind of video is inspiring
