I mean...that doesn't really say much. "Inner beast" could also be applied to ikari for broly, or ultra ego for vegeta, but that doesn't really explain anything about the form. Like is it an evolution of ultimate? Is it ultimate+super saiyan? Does it have anything to do with god ki? Like what is it exactly? We need a real explanation in the actual show

@@alexweddle8219 depends on how they want to make it. Beast is based off ssj2 so if he unlocks ssj3 & evolves beast into its next state he’d be powerful. Yes ssj3 does drain lots of ki & the only time goku likes using it is when he’s in hell or somewhere else where time doesn’t exist. But if they created a new beast form based off ssj3 i doubt they’d make it so it drains his ki fast.
Beast should be a result of the specific potential unlocks Gohan has had, and because he is a hybrid saiyan. The requirements to get "Beast" should be: A human-hybrid saiyan, their potential unlocked by a namekian elder, and then their potential unlocked by a kai. The insane power boost should be more to do with the kai, so if a canon explanation is given then the kai's involvement should be a very pivotal part of the form.
Beast being something from the Ox King is also a good explanation, I'd be fine with that
I agree with it being the next step of an “Ultimate” form for Gohan. Just like how they say Ultimate Gohan they are now saying Beast Gohan. Makes a lot of sense. I also like to think that everyone is going to end up with their own unique forms by the end of Super. Seems that’s the trend for the series. Beast Gohan, UI Goku, Ego Vegeta, Orange Piccolo. We have yet to see Broly’s fully powered mastered version of himself so who knows, maybe he’ll be the one to unlock the “Super Saiyan 4” look first. I say “look” because I know they wouldn’t call it that yet but it would probably look like one. Broly just seems more like a Super Saiyan 4 to me 🤷♂️

You are spot on in my opinion. All the unleashings were base upgrades, not transformations. Beast is the SS version of his ultimate form. Remember he said he wanted to go a different route... And he did, but thus time his rage got the best of him and he actually transformed.

Figured this out back when the movie first came out here in the states. The fact that he transformed when he was in ultimate charging his energy to max was all I needed to see.
I think its gonna be a combination of his saiyan side coming out during his ultimate form. It was unleashed by rage in almost the same exact way super saiyan was originally shown. Plus we just had goku powering up from getting in touch with who he is. Its probably something like his saiyan rage being controlled by his ultimate form like an ultimate × ikari form.
I think this has something to do with the Supreme kais. Vegeta (EGO) god of destruction, Goku (instinct) Angel, Gohan ( beast) Elder Kai. The hair color might be an indicator as well. Just like trunks being train by supreme kai the later fight Vegeta Blue had some influence and need of more power gave him rage form. Gohan was trained or unlocked by elder kai and fought Goku Blue. Influence and need conditions were met during Cell fight. The Saiyan/human hybrids learn fast like the Saiyan's in universe 6. Could be their peaceful nature. They can only get higher levels once the level of power is introduced to them.

Originally, way back in the day, gohab was supposed to take the main character role and Goku and Vegeta were to be put on the back burner. Honestly I think they should have done it after the cell saga. Now power levels are out of control. Plus the manga intros black Frieza. It's only right to have Vegeta beat black Frieza. They need a reset, or they have no enemies but the gods themselves or black Frieza. It could have been so much more on the original idea from toriyama

Gohan beast kinda reminds me of "Gohan's beastly powers and finally been awaked. Gohan has awoken." or some quote like that, from what I believe it seems to be like this is his beastly potential awakened and after this it's just going to be mastering it because he can't learn any others
I mean the constant "unlocking of potential" does kinda make sense. It's all about power ceilings. Much like when Goku broke through his to unlock UI, A "unlocking of your potential" can bring you to the top of your ceiling, but you still need to limit break to get to a new bucket of potential.

Now regarding the 🐐vs🐐(Goku vs Gohan) there are 3 possibilities:
1) As we saw in DBS chapter 100, Beast Gohan was mildly struggling against Cell Max's attack, meaning that he could be slightly weaker than he was in the movie, leading to either Goku winning or a draw(Which I will be kinda pissed about)
2) Beast Gohan is just as strong as he was in the movie, it's just that Cell Max was a bit stronger
3) Literally nothing is different from the movie and Toyotaro just wanted to make it more dramatic

I prefer them to stop using so many damn transformations. Yes I know I’ll still watch Dragon Ball regardless but it is getting kind of overdone. Goku has SS1, 2, 3, if you count GT he has SS4, SSG, SSB, SSB Kaioken, Ultra instinct Sign, and Mastered Ultra Instinct. The manga has more forms he can use too, I think it’s about time they slow down on transformation’s for awhile.

@@CrazyLocoInsane1SSj blue with Kaioken is not a transformation. It’s 2 multipliers stacked on top of each other. His appearance doesn’t even change. His blue aura gets surrounded by red. His first 3 original transformations aren’t efficiently sound either. He expends too much energy while in those. The God forms help with that.

I think you forgot chichis father is the OX king and that bloodline merging with saiyan blood line is what makes this possible
I hope the writers switch things up and make the Beast transformation something totally new, but they help us find out how the Beast power came about and what kind of power it is by using some type of magic (the writers could choose from so many different methods) if the writers take this route this could make Gohan a legend instead of being apart of someone else’s legend and having some sort of passed down legendary power, Gohan IS the legend! This would intern gives us a way more interesting story and takes us on a journey of learning all of the capabilities of Gohans new powers / abilities along with him

Gohan's Beast Super Saiyan represents something I've said & quoted for years: "Once the Gentle Man has shed his last tear, you will know his wrath, completely & without mercy."
I feel like Gohan is going to be the saiyan rival from beerus's original vision / dream / premonition that led to this entire thing. In his mastered beast form he will be the saiyan rival beerus dreamt of and the most powerful warrior Oracle fish prophesied recently. I think granolah, gas, and black freezer were just deceptive distractions.
Keep in mind he was originally plans to be the main character almost from the beginning, I think this will be Toriyama's way of bringing it back full circle

I kinds called the same thing. As you but a bit of a twist. The beast transformation reminiscent of going SSJ2 I keep hearing Goku repeating the power comes in response to a need not a desire you need to create that need back in the hyperbolic time chamber. Gohan has always had the potential we know this but with buuGoku showing up with the Potara or just being there gave him that security blanket. I thought given the title of the movie it would be a super human over SSJ. But like in resurrection F he lost his Mystic for due to slacking. At the top of his game he has power and I think being a father and also unlike Vegeta and Goku he was born on earth so is a true earthling. And lastly when trained up and Goku absent it makes sense like how SSJ teen Gohan trained until SSJ was more or less his base his rage threw him into 2nd gear. The last puzzle piece is why elder kai was sealed in the Z Sword? His power was feared was his explanation at the time, but, beerus fearing the Kai being sought out by villains seeking his potential unlock ability and possibly killing him when denied the ritual causing beerus to die while on one of his 50 year cat naps. Isnt the white hair and red eyes what the original ssj is was supposed to look like if im not mistaken. They colored it wrong and that's how they got the yellow hair and they just stuck with it.

My headcanon is that this is a rework of super sayain 4/5. Like I know 4 has the body fur. But the white hair ssj 5 fur was originally a fan made form. And the creators wanted to make ssj4/5 but they would be going against established canon because of no tail. Yet they did retcon things before and could do so again. So beast form might just be a half power ssj4/5. And the arc could go into giving back the tails to the main characters.
Removing the tails was so disappointing. A bit off topic, but how come saiyans aren’t revived with their tails? Tien in the saiyan saga had his arm cut off, yet regenerated when wished back
@@akirabka8659 if I had to guess it was just an oversight at first. But then they made the God forms. So they felt like bringing back the tails and writing ssj4 into supers storyline was kinda pointless. But they continue to use ssj4 in noncanon stuff. So the tails and ssj4 seem to only be relegated to that part of dragonball lore
