Lomani Pour Homme is a classic, like the man said . I used to live in a cold atmosphere in England, back in the day . I wore Lomani back then, and the scent would stay fresh on me all day long . Now I live in South Florida, and the change in climate as also effected the sprays performance . It still works pretty well, and you will feel fairly confident all day, but it does stop projecting out after 3 hours, or so . So by the 4, or 5 hour mark . Someone would have to get in pretty close to get the aroma . I used it in conjunction with the deodorant spray . It is a good product to me . Incredible value for money . Very inexpensive, and it provides a very clean, and more expensive scent performance .

Excellent review! This is so weird, I just picked up a vintage to relive my youth. The difference between the vintage and the current version is very odd: the vintage if filled with treemoss, the current is filled with oakmoss -- usually it's the other way around these days with fragrances. The only reason I prefer the vintage is because it is exactly how I remembered it in college. But the current version is still awesome, too. Still extremely popular in the Middle East. Best bang for your buck for any cologne and one of the best all-season colognes, too.

Under your recommendation I blind bought the new version and I am absolutely enjoying it. I had the vintage years ago and that one gave me poor performance. This newer version has given me atleast 6 hours and I also noticed this version is more dense,richer, and has drier feel to it. Thanks for this video. I am also new subscriber. Keep it up.

I searched for this perfume and I'm glad you create a video for it.The perfume is my favourite of all perfumes because the scent is just so lovely and beautiful I can't believe it guys. After 20 years I have to make an order for it because in my country I can't find it though. Great review of the fantastic fragrance! I bought it because of your review and I really, really like it. Actually I bought at once several oldschool scents, namely Lomani Pour Homme, Cerruti 1881 Pour Homme and Ted Lapidus Pour Homme (which surprisingy I found very sophisticed and beautiful and I was expecting some kind of monster) surprisingly Cerruti lasts about one hour more on my skin than Lomani. With Lomani I get about five hours and with Cerruti 6. Althouth the projection for thirst 3 hours with Lomani is quite good and I like it more than Cerruti. I would describe Lomani as of course barber shop but also mysterious in the dry down. It's a fantastic fragrance and as you said very versatile! I've never tried Drakkar Noir but I'm very curious about it and will definately try it. Side note and question - my most beloved type of fragrances are actually aquatic-woody scents and my all time favorite fragrance is Kenzo Pour Homme, I had once previous original formulation which was a lot better. I saw in one of your other videos, that you liked new Kenzo but have you tried Jeanne en Provence Aqcua? It's a small french house with very cheap fragrances - it costs the same as Lomani. It's very similiar (although not a clone) to the ORIGINAL Kenzo Pour Homme but with a touch of a rose in the opening.

Sorry to necro this thread, but… I bought this yesterday for $9.99 Australian ($6.79 USD) and sprayed it on at 4.30pm. It was still faintly detectable as a skin scent at 2.30am! It smells amazing (improves as it dries down) and lasts for ages. (Many samples I’ve tested in the stores have evaporated off my skin in under half an hour.) Amazing!

I was looking for 2 signature scents for every day-wear and without spending too much $. Especially because I had to rely on blind buys (because of Covid lockdowns, etc.). After a lot of research and looking around I bought Lomani Pour Homme and Quorum Silver. I like both equally. (This one reminds me of CK Obsession in the dry down). Both are mature, slightly edgy, masculine, seductive and, yes, retro...Both are under 25$CAD online (postage included). I recommend these 2 fragrances as blind buys. Especially if you're over 40. 👍💎💯💈

Just got it. Its very good. Definitely punches well above its quality level. Definitely a quality fragrance. Its a beautiful scent. I get anisomic to it about two hours after. Definitely worth the money.

@@ScentsOfSouthJersey no. Apparently Creation Lamis do a decent take of modern Drakkar Noir called Pure Black but I haven't tried it. You should be able to pick that up easily in your neck of the woods.

Thanks for this review brother. Saw a bottle online for 10 dollars and checked the notes on fragrantica. I already own Paco R. Pour Homme and Quorum so thought I'd give it a try. Interesting that you rate the performance as good while many on fragrantica said it was poor. Do you think it would be redundant if I already have Paco and Quorum? Looking for a versatile frag for the Winter. And I love oak moss. 6-8 hours would make me happy.
I get decent performance from this, but it’s definitely not redundant or like Paco / quorum at all it’s more along the lines of Drakkar noir. I just got this for the first time today by post - the box has a red circle on it in the top left corner stating "New Design" - a reformulation? 😰 Dunno - it's a great scent and seems to be around still after a few hours... will have to see how it goes! Cheers!
S Lawrence with this scent it’s a case of the reformulation/ new bottle design being better believe it or not, I have the old one and it’s got more of an alcohol scent to it and the bottle is more plain looking
Hello Kellan, I really hope I spelt your name correctly . Anyway I finally did buy the Drakkar Noir, has you recommend . I bought one for my brother's birthday, and I bought a 1.7oz for me . I see what you mean about it being somewhat similar to Lomani Pour Homme . It's like the older more masculine big brother of Lomani Pour Homme . My only concern with it is that it doesn't project much . But the scent does stay with me all day, and it is a classic scent at that . So thanks Sir, and keep up the great work .
Leslie Scott hey thanks bro I appreciate the support, I hear mixed reviews on the projection / performance of the current Drakkar noir, for me it does pretty well but that’s unfortunate the performance was not up to par for you, it still smells Awesome, I’m not going to search for a vintage version I am to afraid the scent will have been turned due to age which happens with a lot of vintage scents I have purchased. Maybe pick up the body spray and aftershave balm to layer the scent for more longevity?

Great blind buy, really liked the fragrance, sadly longevity and projection at first wearing were very low on my skin- i will go mad on the trigger successive times

I bought some on a whim. It kind of reminds me of Aqua Velva ice blue aftershave. I haven't worn it out and about yet. But I will soon and see how it goes.

Sadly Lomani was perceived as a Drakkar Noir clone but it's anything but.Those that tried Lomani ended up liking it more than Drakkar.Parisino is also another underrated classic.

Smells like a aftershave, ilasts a lot, but i dont know if i can wear it, im a 20 year old, 2m tall and 100kg, but for me its smells better for 40+ people. What do you think? i could wear this? i already blind bought it.

I'm 24, Lomani PH and Davidoff Cool water are my daily fragrances. Don't know why but these new "expensive" designer colognes, especially the blue ones, are just boring. Not even overused in my country but they're boring for me personally. Lomani I can wear everyday. I will probably buy 15 bottles later :D
Trascents hmm that’s unfortunate, it’s strange though several times scents have not lasted on me and others claim they are very long lived in there skin but it seems to be random lol I love this one though a great cheapie

Lomani is for the mature men who's a gentleman and Classy. I don't think Young guns are going to like it, it is perfect for Formal settings but be careful you don't want to over spray.

Thanks for this review brother. Saw a bottle online for 10 dollars and checked the notes on fragrantica. I already own Paco R. Pour Homme and Quorum so thought I'd give it a try. Interesting that you rate the performance as good while many on fragrantica said it was poor. Do you think it would be redundant if I already have Paco and Quorum? Looking for a versatile frag for the Winter. And I love oak moss. 6-8 hours would make me happy.
I get decent performance from this, but it’s definitely not redundant or like Paco / quorum at all it’s more along the lines of Drakkar noir. I just got this for the first time today by post - the box has a red circle on it in the top left corner stating "New Design" - a reformulation? 😰 Dunno - it's a great scent and seems to be around still after a few hours... will have to see how it goes! Cheers!
S Lawrence with this scent it’s a case of the reformulation/ new bottle design being better believe it or not, I have the old one and it’s got more of an alcohol scent to it and the bottle is more plain looking
Hello Kellan, I really hope I spelt your name correctly . Anyway I finally did buy the Drakkar Noir, has you recommend . I bought one for my brother's birthday, and I bought a 1.7oz for me . I see what you mean about it being somewhat similar to Lomani Pour Homme . It's like the older more masculine big brother of Lomani Pour Homme . My only concern with it is that it doesn't project much . But the scent does stay with me all day, and it is a classic scent at that . So thanks Sir, and keep up the great work .

Awesome, I’m not going to search for a vintage version I am to afraid the scent will have been turned due to age which happens with a lot of vintage scents I have purchased. Maybe pick up the body spray and aftershave balm to layer the scent for more longevity?

oswjim dude you can’t go wrong with this one, the cost is so low and the quality is very high!, smells like a fresher citrus opening Drakkar noir dna cologne, performance has varied from person to person from what I read and got feedback on but that’s normal, I get great performance on it. Great blind buy, really liked the fragrance, sadly longevity and projection at first wearing were very low on my skin- i will go mad on the trigger successive times

I bought some on a whim. It kind of reminds me of Aqua Velva ice blue aftershave. I haven't worn it out and about yet. But I will soon and see how it goes.

Sadly Lomani was perceived as a Drakkar Noir clone but it's anything but.Those that tried Lomani ended up liking it more than Drakkar.Parisino is also another underrated classic.

Smells like a aftershave, ilasts a lot, but i dont know if i can wear it, im a 20 year old, 2m tall and 100kg, but for me its smells better for 40+ people. What do you think? i could wear this? i already blind bought it.

Mine just came in a couple of days ago and yes this stuff is great but the sprayer is horrible 😂😂😂I had to put it in a atomizer. Oh well. I have another one coming in. Hope the sprayer is better. Great video.

Forget everything i ever said, the body spray of lomani is the only scent i like, my signature scent along with brut body sprays ok, wondering if theres anything like it and what genre it is, fresh fougere? I ended up giving drakkar away smells terrible when it dries down.. like ammonia or something

Bernard Drenz Campbell I’d go Lomani pour Homme all day, I am assuming, because I have never tried it, that AB Lomani million is a clone of one million by paco Rabanne and ive gone through a bottle of that years ago and I would never rebuy it it’s way to sweet for me. Lomani pour Homme is a solid daily fragrance. Performs very well and is inexpensive. Thanks for watching bro !

Well it’s like a 9-10 dollar fragrance but i remember it being strong especially in the opening. You can Spray a lot of it at least lol

I'm 24, Lomani PH and Davidoff Cool water are my daily fragrances. Don't know why but these new "expensive" designer colognes, especially the blue ones, are just boring. Not even overused in my country but they're boring for me personally. Lomani I can wear everyday. I will probably buy 15 bottles later :D

I love the Lomani El Paso, and it is very similar to Burberry for Men but stronger projection. But longevity (for both) is meh....

Lomani is for the mature men who's a gentleman and Classy. I don't think Young guns are going to like it, it is perfect for Formal settings but be careful you don't want to over spray.
