The amount of betrayal I felt after I spent all that time mastering the picking pattern only to get to the point of the video where I’m supposed to do that absolute knuckle splitting of a chord……but that being said I DID finally figure out how to get my tiny hands to make it happen, so thank you Stewart I love you very much.
this is very motivating, the way my spirit was crushed when i saw how WIDE his hands got. i looked at my baby hands in disbelief, i didn’t give up but it was definitely discouraging. thank you for commenting how you got over this hurdle, any tips you can give to a noob like me?

i have really small hands and i feel like i could play the last 2 chords if i tried (it might give me carpal tunnel syndrome), but i found that if you just put your pointer and middle finger on the top 2 strings of five, and then seven, it still sounds really close to the actual song. lol it’s simplified obviously but it still works. thank you for this tab btw, this video has been the only way ive learned it!!! love the song so much.

Do i have to use my middle and ring finger? Its more comfortable for me to just use my pointer finger unstead.
