Don't come to US to study for entire 2025 even if you have any shitty experience. You won't get jobs for sure due to recession and much of your family savings would be wasted in the education fees.

I'm looking for a career switch. Planning to pursue master's in data science, but I have done my B.E in electrical (2024 graduate). I don't have much of experience expect one research paper in computer vision. So, what is your suggestion can I directly apply for master's in 2025 or to work in related field and then plan for master's? Hey Yudi, If the work experience is not in the same field does that count or not? Say I have experience in Supply Chain and I want to do Product management or Data Analytics will that hamper the chances of getting a job?
I think its good. Make sure to watch my next video to understand better.
But in short.
Supply chain and Data experience is great to have because there are transferrable skills which you can use in Product roles and you can choose industry which have product roles.
for example: Walmart PM is great for supply chain.
Does 4 internships, 2 of which are 6 month internships and other two 3-month internships count as work ex? I'll be graduating in may 2025 and am planning to apply for 2025.
Internships doesn't count as experience, better you can go for an professional full time job experience after you're graduated

I think it will be enough from your internships - they can mention your adaptation skills. Don’t need necessarily Robotics based internship - obviously nice to have but not needed. Assuming you have strong reason for pivot which you explain in SOP

University acceptance rate and graduation rate matters, as we have covered in my F1 Visa videos.

It sounds like your visa might’ve been rejected due to financial issues or missing documents. If the university is approved to accept international students, then it’s unlikely that was the problem.

its not the number of years really - its the quality of work ex. You can have `1 year and great impact at the company + accomplished building good skills and on the flip side you can have 4 years on paper and still did nothing really great.

That’s 2 different presidents, different job market altogether. Too many variables.
All I can say, if you work hard, use the job search strategies I teach in my courses, build skills you will get a job.
