Nice work, made me think of when I lived on a small block of 5 home. I made 5 snowmen and had the children paint them then placed each one in the front yard of all 5 homes.

I'd Make some Patterns out of a quality cardboard In SECTIONS easier to store Patterns = someone might want one, give as a gift, OR Just SELL THEM ON LINE👍🏻.... I would keep them simple : "High End" Varnish (very lite color) Add Bell To 🦌 Neck And A Glitter Gold Star at The Top Of The Tree🎄 Win Win...👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏻 And options: LIGHTING I would use a LONG ground landscaping light that shines on them from the front And OR As He did the lights 3D from the back
I did this one time with my dad he made a life size Sleigh and flat reindeer and painted it ! I drew the 3 wisemen ,camels,and a stable on wood like you did my dad cut it out with a saw and we painted it all black and assembled it .Then we put colored lights to shine behind it and it looked so good at nite !!! Everyone admired it and we put it up for many years !!!❤❤❤
Well done! I saw a handmade wooden Charlie Brown squad & Snoopy decorated house on a lawn this year and took pics day/& night pics. I like the handmade/skilled ideas like yours! Love how you quickly scribbled a perfect tree! 🌲⚙️✏️✨😄
How on earth did you get both sides of the tree so symmetrical?’ 🌲😮 That’s something I’d struggle with to the point of giving up out of sheer frustration! 😂
You could take a huge piece of paper, fold it on the long side and sketch out half of the tree. Cut it out, then unfold it. You will have a perfectly symmetrical tree. Then, you could trace it onto the wood...and continue.
Simple is always effective ! I'll take this home. My wife will love this. I can assure you I'll take full credit for coming up with this. It's just the way I am.
Oh, how original! I love it! That plywood is now $60 - to-$100 dollars a sheet, so, be careful to draw it really well onto wood & place it where the router won't strike a floor or any other surface while cutting! How do we get the pattern for both??
Could be done a lot easier with foam core and a razor knife. Hot glue support stops on the back of foam code, and it could be artistes down with bricks from behind. It would let the backlighting come through the foam ore, too. Would prolly be a lot cheaper and a lot more effective. I’m an artist who’s worked with foam ore my whole life, so I know it would work just fine!
