In this tutorial, we'll be diving into the world of Bass House. Bass house combines hard-hitting basses with groovy house drums. In this tutorial we'll be leaning more towards the Knock2 Style Bass House including his signature bass lead, bass house vocals and energetic drums.
In this video we'll be deconstructing the bass house genre in 4 elements:
The Bass House Drums:
First, we'll be diving into the bass house drums. I'll show you how to create the perfect bass house drumloop from scratch starting with the basic kick, clap and hat. Then we're gonna add some groove with the snares and closed hats.
The high energy A-part:
In this part we'll be adding those typical high energy Knock2 style bass house leads from our Serum Preset pack UK Business. I'll also show you how to make the perfect Knock2 style bass house midi from scratch.
The Groovy B-part:
In this part we'll be adding some rhytmic basses from our Serum preset pack. we're also gonna add the rap vocal in there.
Finalizing the drop:
In this part we’ll be adding some tricks to make our drop a bit more interesting. We'll be removing the drums at the start of the drop. We're also adding some automations and FX sounds.
