I did it once with Martin Mull many years ago. He had a string of jokes just waiting to roast me with. It might have been the best 5 to 10 minutes of the show.

The first 2 heckles really went up in class quite quickly; from a guy telling Jimmy he looks like he fucked a pig to a guy telling him that his wife finds his jokes to be "quite crude". I'm surprised the third heckle wasn't "sir, your jokes have offended me so greatly that my monocle fell into my Chardonnay. You sir are a complete rapscallion".

He already has comebacks lined up so after hearing the heckle, he steers the conversation around to one of his rehearsed replies and uses it. For example, if he's heckled and he responds but the heckler says something else, he'll say something like, "Great comeback. If you want my comeback though, you'll have to scrape it off your mum's teeth"
