100 percent agree with Dan, sure pure falconry is that but now, be it lamping(nice one Kyle) demo flying , flying for rehab ... its falconry , people get their pants in a wedge for why ? essentially we are all singing of the same hymn sheet, take a look back at what happened to the terrier and lurcher lads who played the " Im 'ard man we an "ard dog " of the eighties nineties and look where that got them...........well I'd hate to say I told you so. Otherwise what a great event.
Hi Dave I really need some advice I’m sure you have dealt with some hunting sabbs and anti hunting personal , I’m not just a falconer I’ve been doing pest control pretty much all my life and I’m no stranger to dispatching and animal but I only do it when they start to cause problems for farmers and some Saabs have found me and they saying I kill everything I see , I’m a blood driven person but that is just not who I am and they are really getting under my skin and I’m not about to prover there point by retaliating but how do u deal with them
I used to explain to them the facts and the truth but long since realised it doesn’t matter as they’re either just trouble makers or refuse to listen to common sense even if what you say simply can’t be argued against . No room here for examples . If they’re just opinionated and rude , I’ll politely present the facts and leave them to it , if violence or threatening in socials I’ll screenshot and block . Had an incident where I was reported for animal cruelty ( my hawk caught game , all instantly dispatched etc, as you’d expect ) but police said they had to follow it up , I explained , police were totally on my side . So said person then started posting vile threats to me and my family on my business socials , so I reported this to the same officer and said this is actually terrorism, and the police didn’t want to know and never even contacted the person (. Who even slagged off the officer in her rants!) The law is terrible

Dave many memories of that weekend will stick with myself and my wife for many years. What about next year do we need to keep that weekend free ?
