I totally agree about using the UV resin to anchor the wires, which seem to take on a life of their own as soon as they get a whiff of resin! Discovering this brilliant tutorial is just so timely as I've got a commission for a 'Family' piece for this weekend and was absolutely dreading doing it. As usual I've left it rather late (putting off the evil moment ....) but thank goodness for you and 4hr cure resin! Thanks so much for a brilliant video!
Great idea for using the UV resin to hold the lights in place! This is what I have a problem with. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching! It has helped me so much with time and patience!

You’re welcome and thank you so much for watching!
Can I ask why you put the last layer of resin on After you had removed it from the mould
Good question! I can’t say for sure, but I t looks like it gave it more of a rounded look on the top instead of it being so flat.
Hi! Yes it gives a rounded effect and more shine. It’s just like a top coat. Thank you for watching!
Beautiful. I just wish I had the patience to put the lights in.
Thank you! It’s so quick with UV resin! Give it a try!
The lights are a nightmare trying to get them to stay in mould and not float to the top
