Great video and I never would have thought of some of those hacks. Those could have been really useful when I was in my 2nd-3rd yr of Architecture where a lot of our subjects required us to create different scale models but it's still great to know them now. Maybe you can also post tips for defending a thesis as well. That would be really helpful. (especially for me right now haha) I look forward to more great architecture related content. Hey Llyan! Can you do a video about making scale trees in different ways? I hate having to buy them because they can get so expensive and some are just plain ugly. Thanks! Great video btw!!!
For the main model i used Bristol Board, Illustration Board and PVC sheets for windows. For some of the material finishes i used Textured art paper for Stucco walls, Scotch brite and twigs for the trees and some crushed green foam for grass. My base is made of wood and styrofoam:)

Yup architecture takes 7 years:) 5 years for school and 2 more years for apprenticeship. All the instructors right now are pretty good, none of them are scary, not like in our time haha:)
