What is Amazon Key For Business

- What exactly is Amazon Key for Business service... and is it worth it? Does it cost any money? Do drivers have access to my building after a package is delivered? Is this a scam?
What I can say is this...
My mind is blown with the speed in which Amazon and it affiliates were able to go from explaining this new service to completion in less than 1 hour. We may be a rare case but once we agreed to let them hook on to our property call box (at no cost to us), they had the installer on site and project up and running in the matter of minutes.
It went so quickly that I thought it had to be fake... a scam even... so we contacted Amazon Corporate office through their website and spoke directly with a representative that verified the installer, their program, and cost to us... were all completely legitimate.
The Flash himself doesn't move this fast. This is a fantastic service that allows for our residents to get their packages delivered to their doors in a secured building without having to either be home themselves... or us as management... let in the driver. Truly a time saver.

Can I assume your "40 year old panel" building has WiFi in the common area?
It is not connected to the WiFi. It is somehow done through the drivers device or phone from what I understand.
@@SkyManagement Thank you for your prompt response. :) I see. They must have some sort of NFC / bluetooth device installed in your callbox. That then authenticates the visitor through the driver's phone/device by talking to their servers to allow authentication/disengaging the lock relay. Interesting stuff.
Good evening. The device connects through cellular service. It can be connected to the internet modem if the building has one.
Amazing. I had no idea this works for businesses! I have heard of it for homes (with garages) but this is going to be a game changer for those that are needing home delivery in a multi family environment.

how is that working for you with contract amazon drivers. They don't have access to amazon key. We are not on sight and therefore get multiple calls daily. Additiionally, our residents expect us to handle these deliveries for them.
