@@JustScribble any, all? I just know hobonichi convers and traveler's notebooks which use elastics rather than pockets to slip the notebook into. I know planner monkey sells the clear ones.
3:55 Sterling Ink does have thinner B6 notebook options that are also cheaper even though every page is numbered. And that’s before their free shipping offerings which are significantly lower than other companies.
Yes, you are correct - SI also has half year notebooks. I’ve shared the SterlingInk full and half year notebooks many times over the years. Though her thinner (half year) book also has more pages than the PMCO thinner (half size) book; just as her full year book has more pages. I own, and use, lots of SI notebooks and appreciate that her business model allows her to absorb shipping costs; many of us with small, one person shops sadly cannot afford to do that. All that said, I find I prefer these notebooks - I just enjoy them more. It’s hard to explain but they feel more inviting to me. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment and share your thoughts.
@@JustScribble Yeah you used to have glowing reviews of Sterling Ink until recently, perhaps a conflict of interest to review products that you are directly competing with in your launch
@@mumalogue I still use and share and recommend SteringInk products and in no way meant anything negative by what I’ve shared. My preference for the PMCO notebooks started long before I decided to produce planners and my support of other shops and honest reviews and shares of their products has not changed even though I’m offering products of my own. I regularly share and support other small businesses and am even using other planner shops planners for 2025 and will be sharing them as my orders arrive. But as more and more companies offer TRP and specialty paper products I’m able to find more products that suit my needs. I by no means discount Catherine’s products or the amazing impact she’s had to the planner community but I also won’t apologize for finding other products I like better for myself personally.
@@JustScribble no apology needed. Hi! Have you ever felt a moleskine soft cover? I’m trying to find that soft cover feeling but with tomoe river paper. I have an aura Estelle and it’s like a cardstock cover. It’s flexible, and I really love the pages, but still not quite what I’m hoping for. Any chance you know if this is a softer cover than aura Estelle? Or if it’s close to a moleskine softcover?
Hi Morgan - Yes I’m familiar with the moleskine softcover. I’m actually writing in one right now 😉 so every shops covers are slightly different and some are more pliable than others and some have much thicker/stiffer and papers. I need to pull out some other brands and bend and feel and compare but I will say that my planner covers are much softer and more similar to the moleskine. It’s quite soft and flexible. You can see it in my videos of my planner for example. But I’ll pull out my other brands and do a feel test and let you know of others that might fit the bill.
And that paper! It’s like writing on butter! 🥰
Yes! I just adore it.
I love Planner Monkey Co! Great video 🥰
Thank you!
thank youuu for loving PMC!
Can’t wait to get to the collection you have. Such an inspiration
Thank you 😊
I just moved into my coffee standard in the freely noted + and it is SO cozy and such a good color for this time of year!
That's awesome. It is a very beautiful brown. Cozy is the perfect word!
Do you all use a cover for the standard size 400pg? What do you use?
