Your achievements over the past 14 months are incredible. I have an abiding memory of Sam putting the cedar cladding on the back of the cabin last October. There was horizontal rain, and the wind was blowing a hoolie. He looked frozen and soaked but never gave up to keep his family cosy from the coming winter. Becs you are the Queen of raking out and pointing, you kept at it no matter what and the results are beautiful ❤❤ The love and kindness shines out from your lovely family. It has been a joy to watch every week, always lots of giggles along the way too. Now we have a new budding cameraman in Euan ❤ Hope you all have a lovely weekend together ❤️
Aww thanks Maggie. It was great to see again for us too. It can be easy to forget how far we have come! Though obviously none of the inside work is shown.
Marvellous achievement in 14 months and am sure you'll make it over the next 4 months. Hope Sam is okay as Galway got slammed by storm Bert and are still under a warning. Look after yourself and the kids as storm Bert hasn't finished with us yet. Love and hugs to all ❤😊
Well done Becs on putting this video together! Having watched your channel since this spring when you starting working for the grant, this is such a good overview. Though it doesn't show the grueling day to day work that you have accomplished together, it does show how a dream can become a reality with enough effort and desire. Have thoroughly enjoyed watching your channel.
Loved the way you Becs, put this together!! I have watched from the start and have come to love your family very much. So much hard work not only from yourselves but those who came to work also no matter what the weather was like. YOU CAN MAKE IT‼️
Credit to Sam and Rebecca for seeing the potential in the original shell - most couples would have run a mile. Your next 4 months will be manic but you’ve achieved so much to date, I’ve no doubt that you’ll make the deadline. Keep this drone footage in your archive - well done. Wishing Sam all the best at his fireman training.
I found this vlog to be very emotional. I’ve watched you from the very beginning wishing you all on every step. Wow haven’t you done well. Living the dream. ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
Oh, the mists and the memories. The hard work, the beautiful Nell, Toby, and Tilly. You've captured it all in a nutshell of lovely scenes and beautiful, moving music. You have transformed what most would have thought impossible to transform - into a beautiful home and homestead. Yes, you will meet the deadline. No doubt about it. I kept rewinding, over and over. Though I followed every step of the way as you dealt with happiness and hurdles, I had still forgotten that devastation you felt when the ground had to be dug up. But was able to rejoice with you when the green came back. Rebecca, you did a wonderful job compiling all of this. It was seamless. Sam will be so proud when he watches it. Thank you again for allowing us into your lives. Thank you for letting us accompany you on this magical journey. This video is a gorgeous testimony to all your hard work. Hope your weekend is wonderful! 💙
Good morning Sam, Becky and family and please pass on my Top of the Morning to Dessie, Francis and DL. … Well Becs, ..wow, wow wow, you’ve taken this old Somerset carrot cruncher on a quite emotional trip today. I was not expecting it to be so emotional. But on the other hand I can relate… As a newly wedded kid (19) Wife (18) no money… no life experiences, just a willingness to graft hard along with a strong desire to build a life together. Began to fix up a very badly rundown, neglected, 2 up 2 down terraced cottage almost in a state of collapse. From the roof down to doorstep. Watching your video today took me back to our own early days of building our home. What you have done so far over there in Leitrim, what you continue to do there in many ways is beyond words. To watch as you guys build your dreams together is poetical…this is life poetry in action. You guys are creating, inspiring and motivating…. Okay.. that’s enough of all that poetry stuff from this old carrot cruncher 😆😆 ……But just to end this with a huge … Well Done to you all. It honestly is an amazing achievement so far…. With my kind regards and respects as always … Dave❤
In this world there are people that can't, people that can and don't and people that can and do. You are definately in the last group. Congratulations for what you have achieved.❤
You WILL make it!!! Sooooo much work, and look how stunningly beautiful it has turned out so far 👍🏻👏🏻 BRAVO, this will make the most beautiful home for you and your family for decades to come 😊🙏🏻
Both you and Sam should be proud of your accomplishments thus far, you have saved a beautiful old building which will once again sit proud in its surroundings leaving a rich family legacy and at the same time giving your kids fantastic memories and visuals of how hard work pays off and anything is achievable. I also have to tip my hat to your compassion for the animals that you save and foster you are a generous soul sharing your love with gods creatures and it’s truly wonderful to see.
With the hard graft you and Sam have been putting in to your home, I wouldn't bet against you finishing enough for the vacant homes grant deadline in 4 months time. Good luck! Most recap videos clearly reuse footage previously published. You have shown how recaps should be done - beautifully presented with stunning drone shots of the cottage and the surrounding countryside.
Oh my goodness - hard to believe it was only October when the old roof came off! What an absolutely phenomenal job you are all doing. I believe you've definitely got it in you to get it done - keep on believing in yourselves. Much love
Smashing re-cap to watch and also reflect on how far you have come. The unseen works of drainage and so on are all there too - but the roof, external pointing and a floor with internal structures are all fantastic and time-consuming work. You'll make it for the grant deadline and no doubt when Samm gets back, the progress will be exponential! Well done on all you have accomplished.
You are doing it... Wishing Sam well in training and you in managing the homestead. Hoping your specs are completed and materials in order for the next push. Wishing you the best.
Thank you so much for the compilation overview of all you have taken on and are acomplishing. The Irish must be so happy to have people like you and your family settling in the country and restoring derelict properties - and now how Sam is integrating into a vital role in the local community - well done you all and thank you so much for sharing your journey - you are an inspiration!
I can’t believe how far you have come on the renovations of this once loved cottage and the surrounding land. Wishing you the best of luck for the future from another ex-Stockporter now in Argyll Scotland 😊
You’ve got this! I forgot there was a lean to on back of stable it seems so long ago I love site manager Nell running around protecting everyone from the drone shots ❤ Been watching from the start of this journey and so proud of how much you have accomplished and the amount of love you have for each other and your kids, keep up the good work!
I did notice the extensive grading to make sure the water flow was directed to the edge of the woods and a small pond you created. This was , of course, the most important step in creating a livable home. Congratulation for first things first!
Just thinking back to this time last year when the cottage stood there derelict not resembling anything but the sad end of a home once loved turning to rubble. Until you saw it!, and knew you could breathe new life and love back into the old once loved stone house and derelict stone animal shed right behind the cottage. We've seen week after week back breaking and continuous work you poured into rebuilding the shell ready to then pour by hand the dreaded ring beam!. To then move on to the most amazing part which was to build the roof structure and finally onto the biggest task so far this year, which has been to help assist the slating of the roof, it was very hard work and time consuming, until now where we can see the roof is completed and watertight. An amazing Timelapse by drone!, Thank you for taking us along on this start of your journey!. Sending you all love, have a wonderful weekend together guys ❤❤😂😂
Thank you, that's so lovely, Sonya. It has been a long road..feels longer than 14 months! The relief getting the roof on was immense. We had never planned on paying someone else to do the roof, but we realised we would struggle without it. I had a few little jobs for Sam when he came home as you will see on Saturdays video 🤣
Guys we've watched you from the very start, we moved from the uk to county louth over 2 yrs ago and still waiting to build extension on the in laws home after finally getting planning, we too share you're thoughts how amazing Ireland is and this video shows it perfectly , the transformation in just over a year is epic and through the ups and downs you should be proud of what you have achieved, this brought a tear to my eyes and hope this gives you the motivation and determination to complete what will be an superb family home. Look forward to seeing the internal works and we are all behind you willing you on, all the best
I've just sat down with my hot strong tea brew in my homestead mug and watched your vlog and am speechless it's a very emotional and happy vlog the music hits you in the heart see the stunning footage of your drone beautiful stunning images what a transformation in a short time yes am definitely 100% sam and becky you will achieve your deadline for the grant yous both should be so proud take a step back and look at what yous have done must be an amazing feeling bring life and a family pets and animals into the homestead i carnt say enough about the footage and the editing am very proud to watch this amazing vlog and most of all proud of yous well done yous 🎉❤😅😊 it's time I was a patron of this channel / vlog
My gosh! What a difference. Congrats for your achievement. I'm 78 years old and like very much to accompany your hard work, and your love for animals. Best regards from Brasilia, Brazil
Congratulations! So happy for you all. Great to see the roof completed for the winter. You’ve made amazing progress in the past year. I admire your foresight and determination. It’s all paying off.
What an achievement! A dream being fulfilled is beautiful to watch. You've been working so hard and you will make your deadline, most definitely. God's speed, safe and happy journey to the final nail. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful journey.
So beautifully edited and produced, to show the hard work vision and achievement that you have done in 14 months. ' i wish you Sam Isabella & Euan a long and happy future, once you have achieved doing your dream home.
What a change it’s been! From nothing to something! Blessed beyond measure to have wonderful souls volunteer there services to help you both but I understand people liking you I did right away meeting you online to see it through with you both!!!
So beautifully done! This brought tears to my eyes! What an amazing vision you both have for this incredible piece of property! All the long backbreaking hours Sam has put in day after day, and Becs, working from home, keeping the family going, documenting the accomplishments and helping every step of the way! One of the biggest blessings you have received was the help of Desi and Francis, the skilled craftsmen who turned this project into a home at last, may God bless them 10 fold! And Tobi and Tillie and Milly and the kids, what a journey this has been! Your channel is right at the top of everything on Utube! We all have walked these miles with you during the last 16 months and have felt every emotion with you, every up and down, all your hopes and dreams! Thank you, thank you for taking us along with you. May you overcome every hardship, perservere every storm and come out filled with the blessings only God Himself can provide! Lots of love and hugs from Michigan, USA. P.S. My granddaughter goes to Michigan State, I saw your shirt Becs!
Brilliant! It is really amazing to see how far you have come is such a short time. It must feel like some jobs are taking forever when you're hard at work, but then when you step back and watch this gorgeous video it hasn't been very long at all. You all should be very proud! Soon you will be living in your gorgeous new home (with a gorgeous fireman!) 💖
If you didn't have the images it would be hard to believe how far you've come. It almost looks as if the Fae gave you a hand - but no, it's just your hard work that made this possible. Hats off!
It's amazing what you've achieved and wow what a great way to remind us, I was smiling at so many bits of it and remembering all the many many things you've also done along the way.........putting in the fire just one........I am in awe of you and your achievements. I have no doubt you will succeed if all your previous hard work is anything to go by. Thank you again for taking us on your journey xxxxx.
Wow! Even though I’ve been there for all of it since almost the beginning, this really made me aware of how much hard work you guys have invested in such a short amount of time! I mean I knew it, but looking back on those first couple of months, the struggles with just getting the mobile home livable even before tackling the cottage itself. Clearing the land and the drainage issues with your bog! Creating the pond! So happy that you’re so near the finish line. (But is there a finish line? Really?) 👏👏👏 The really exciting/fun part is coming up..flooring, appliances, furniture! You’ll be living in the cottage before you know it. ❤❤❤ And,YES, you’ll meet the deadline!
I bet the training Sam is getting is a piece of cake compared to the strenuous work he has been doing since the build started. You both have worked like troopers. I’m impressed with your fortitude. You are so smart to think about the future with this new job.
These time lapse videos are brilliant, not just showing us how far you've come, but also yourselves, helping to motivate you to keep going to your end goal. You'll make it, inside stuff won't be hampered by weather, so it'll be all go, and you're able for it. I can't wait! ❤❤❤ And come on, people, get this lovely family up to the 100k subscribers 😊
There's something so satisfying about taking something old and making it " new!" We are " kindred spirits" in that. Well done, and the countryside is beautiful!
Well done Bec....one week of Sam's training behind you and I'll bet he already has enough running through his head to write a book on! Congratulations to you all for Sam's stepping out of his familiar involvements and the 3 of you supporting him whilst you keep the homefires burning. Great video today with such an incredible story behind it.....I can't believe it's a whole year already and I'm stunned at how much you've done with a little help here and there. You've got an amazing home, with a beautiful roof, now just waiting for inside completion - and such back breaking work done with your own two hands. The drone footage really puts the beauty of the farm into perspective and the four footed and feathered members that have come along over the past 12 months just make it look and feel like a real farm now. Thinking of you all and, even though Euan and Isabella will be of great help, the weight of keeping on, keeping on will still be sitting on your shoulders....."neart do lahm" lass!
Such a great achievement, preparing the site, getting the mobile home in place and neatly clad, then the restoration of the house, the mega roof build. Doing so much yourselves, learning more as you go, has allowed you to reach the point of the last stretch, being the fit out, with only a little help along the way.
Thanks. It has been a lot of work especially for Sam. Even when we've had help in or paid workmen Sam.has still been there as an unpaid worker. He is shattered.
The new roof, chimney and dormers are fantastic. It's really no wonder that you fell in love with the property so quickly but only people with gumption, tenacity and vision see potential and act upon it. Well done to the entire family and let's hope Sam's training is going well. Thanks for sharing. Peace from San Jose, California.
Becky I have such admiration and respect for what you and Sam have accomplished … this is a test of physical and mental strength and tenacity .. making the difficult but necessary decisions… handling the hectic weather whilst pushing on .. videoing and editing in between .. making pots and pots of hot brew and keeping everyone fed … all of this with a genuine smile. Your family should already be the front runners for the award based on what you have achieved.!!! Keep the faith … Durban SA 🇿🇦
Oh, I remember feeling your pain when the hard landscaping was done. It was necessary but heartbreaking at the same time. Great to see the now and then journey. God, the cladding period!! Well, it all looks fabulous now. It's great to see how many people are supporting you and rooting for you. Good luck with the next phase xx
I joined your channel at 10 min or so of this video. So nice to see the beginning. I have been a lifetime here in the USA, working in home construction, and at 80 y/o I'm absolutely impressed at what the two have accomplished. Old skills, new skills, skills you never thought you had acquired. Reminds me of the quote by an astronaut, "ONE GIANT STEP, A GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND." YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO, UNTIL YOU TRY. This video, while the "fireman is off to training," is priceless. Thank you for sharing. As Toby would say, "HEE HAW!" Happy holidays to your family. 64 years of home building, retired, still working watching your videos.
This drone footage was a journey back through memories. I had forgotten all the striping of vine and green growth needed before you could even begin to think about the long finger aching weeks of pointing of which task you became a world expert, Bec! Then there was the memorable cladding in pouring rain just to keep warm, Sam's magnificent , heroic efforts while soaked to the skin making it a Christmas gift for you all. The storm destroying the hay loft and the building of Toby and then Tilley's home. Now, the wonderful slate roof completed, the rescue of Dessie's hammer and the banter no matter how harsh the weather. Wow, what a journey. Yes, Bec, you and Sam will accomplish the work in time for the grant to become reality. One thing also to remember is Nell's constant encouraging efforts to keep everyone in order and motivated, her unquestionable loyalty and love always a given. Finally, Euan. His help and abilities developing along with the building, and his artistry and skills as a video maker. Oh yes. Together you will all make it happen. Hope Sam is enjoying his fire fighter training. Love to you all.🌹
Im a fan from a small town in North Carolina, and I feel like I've been watching your channel for awhile, but to see the time lapse of what you've accomplished is just amazing! You live in such a beautiful area, the drone footage is stunning.
Awe inspiring to see what has been achieved so far and wonderful though the recap video is, it is not possible to fully convey the effort and resolve that was poured into every day on this project. A truly magnificent example of what can be done by a dedicated team who all pull together through all weathers to get the job done. Even the animals gaze on in admiration at what is being built around and for them.
“Even the animals gaze on in admiration at what is being built around and for them.” … Yes, they do, don’t they? Lovely to see. Love and respect and hard work.
Not much to add to the comments as everyone feels the same which is love you guys and the wonderfully done footage for us to see! I look forward to each video and it seems to get better each time.
This was brilliant to watch! I know it doesn’t show the hours and hours of hard grift you both and the boys have been doing but it sure shows how far you’ve come along! Hope it’s not been too lonely with him off to fire fighting training. Thank you so much for entertaining us along the way.
Very true. It really doesn't show that, and it was a tough slog in those early months. We often had days we felt overwhelmed and worried we had taken on too much. ♥️
I absolutely love watching the renovation of your cottage and your life on the property. I love watching the building work, but equally love seeing the donkeys, your crazy ultra-protective sheepdog, the cats and the children. Seeing your blog come up lights up my day. Thank you from Namibia.
Dont ever allow yourselves to be discouraged. You have done an enormous amount already. The place looks VERY promising and will fulfill your dream to occupy and make the farm Great Again. The aerial shots were a wonderful summary. THANKS!
This video makes me want to cry!!! Just to think of all the blood sweat and tears you both have had over the last 14 months! It will all be worth it in the end. What a beautiful homestead you will have. Your hard work will pay off in the end.
It’s great to see all the hard work tied together with the fantastic drone footage, you’ve done amazing and should be proud of yourselves, loved seeing your dog bombing about when the drone was over head and the footage of Dezzie and Francis sticking out of the roof , what a godsend those 2 have been and everyone else that’s helped you out , love the donkeys and how you’ve found time to take them on in the middle of the restoration shows what fantastic people you are , can’t wait to see it all completed ❤
Thank you. Best decision we made getting Francis & Dessie in. Yes we hadn't expected that financial cost but we never would have made it alone before winter.
Whoever has control of the drone a big well done fantastic, that was well a bit emotional really the music, how far you've come in such a short time,Toby wow amazing
oh Wow...OMGoodness.... what a spectacular video. I often don't enjoy recaps, especially when I've watched every episode since you first saw the home, but I am left with amazement and awe at what you have achieved since buying and starting your journey. Fantastic photography of your amazing surrounding landscapes, and a heartwarming journey of progress...in the last year. I imagine you must be so proud of what you've achieved in such a short period of time.... such a transformation...Love seeing Nell, doing her job to the mostest (if that's a word)...Thanks for starting my weekend with such a happy heart. You guys carry on, carrying on and you will get there, and in time, at the pace you're going. You'll create the most amazing home for all of you and your animal family...
Absolutely marvelous! Yes, you'll make it, I'm sure; from a poor old lady here in the outskirts of Washington, D. C. who's been cheering you on and praying for you every step of the way. You are an inspiration to us all. God bless you!
You've come a long way with the renovation. The hardest part is behind you now so it will go much faster. Having the roof on now means you can being working on the inside and making it a cosy, welcoming home. I hope you make the grant deadline and good luck to Sam on his training course too.🤞
The drone footage is such a remarkable memory jogger. If you'd been doing this reno 30 years ago you'd have been sending reels of film off to Boots for processing and getting them back 7 days later 😀😀😀 Fantastic work for all to see
Been with you every step of they way. You have ALL done so well living in these conditions until you finish your dream home. Stay strong together and you will come through this tough part of making your forever home. Good luck to Sam on his course! 💕💕💕
i lost use of my mobility and miss doing and making stuff.. but i have been keeping an eye on you guys since your early days.. and oh man.. you're doing it guys.. you're doing it.. much love to you ok.
What year have achieved is nothing short of amazing, to have the roof fully tiled before Sam went off for firefighter training is fantastic, I bet you are missing him now Becky but it is so worth it as ye are setting up your future and yes you definitely will be finished in four months to get that grant, well done all of you
Fantastic composite of all your hard work. The roof made it look like a home! Congratulations. Your family is amazing. You have a beautiful patch of earth and are making it a place where you can live your dream. Love seeing all the animals and the lush pictures of Ireland. Thank you for letting us watch. Please stay safe. Hoping hubby is liking his training and you will all soon be back together.
How far you've come guys. The house is not only being totally renovated it's adopting it's own personality and just like Toby & Tilly it will become a cherished family member, grateful for you having saved it. Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to you all. xxx
It must be great to look back and see what you’ve all achieved. I’m sure watching this this will spur you on to know that together you really can do anything. At least you’re working in the dry now to get all the other pesky jobs done in time. I hope the training is going well too. My absolute favourite channel! 😊
OMG look how all of the hard work has paid off! It was lovely to see the beginning up until now (even though I remember all of it). You must be so proud 😊. Hope is all well on the homestead and Sam is getting on OK. PS. Toby and Tilly in the house was hilarious, bless em 😉😉🤭 Getting it finished in 4 months won't be a problem for you I'm sure ❤
Thank you so much! We are proud when we finally stepped backand looked at it once the roof was done. That being said Sam had to actually seen it fully finished yet.
What a great nutshell of the journey! Very I’m pressed with what you’ve accomplished in a short period of time! Toby & Tilly are definitely king and queen of the homestead and it’s all coming together so nicely!
As a lifelong builder it was such a joy to watch this recap. You and Sam are so hard working, unstopable, sensible. and sensitive. And your workers are hero warriors against disorder and disfunction. Keep up the good work on your place and your terrific videos!
Look how far you've all come, not just in building your beautiful new home but with your filming, editing, animal husbandry and gardening skills. This is an absolutely brilliant compilation. I hope Sam's course is going well and that you don't miss him too much when he's away.
Thank you. It's hard not having him here but bless him he came home this weekend as storm Bert was inbound and we had a straw delivery that needed going in the barn asap.
What a great achievement from a lovely family . Didn’t watch from the start but have binged watched to catch up and now watch every week . You should be very proud in what you are doing and get quite emotional watching your wonderful donkeys, dogs ( Nell is a star ! ) cats and hens . What’s next on the animal front , Pygmy goats maybe ? 🤔 Every-time I see Toby it makes me emotional to see him so happy with his wonderful companion , Tilly . Keep up the good work you are doing great . Brilliant filming , drone shots and editing too 😊
YES. YES. YES. You will make the grant. You have your garden beds mapped out! Nell guards all. And I am laughing and crying at all your family has accomplished. 🥰🥰🥰
I was thinking the other day that as nerve-wracking as it was to wait for the sale before applying for the grant, it did give you time to weatherize the stationary caravan and do some other things to prepare for the coming extreme push caused by the firm deadlines of the grant. So, yes, frustrating in some ways, but useful in others. You've done so much in such a short period. You should be very proud of yourselves.
Thank you. Yes I think we spent the time waiting for the motorhome to sell wisely. Having a warm dry place to retire to after a day working outside is a godsend. I remember a comment at the beginning saying we were wasting our time amd money and should just live in the barn! 🤔🫣😉
@@theirishhomestead Having a comfortable place to rest after hard work is so valuable. It sets you up to work well the next day. Plus, with the children in the mix, it becomes even more important to have a warm, dry place. You're doing really well and I love seeing the progress you make.
YOU CAN MAKE IT‼️
Brrrrrrrrr. I vividly remember Sam and Becs cladding their cabin. brrrrrrrrrrrr. I was, and am, in Awe.
When that's all you can afford you make it work, one step at a time and tbh it's worked out great for them
I found this vlog to be very emotional. I’ve watched you from the very beginning wishing you all on every step. Wow haven’t you done well. Living the dream. ✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅
Me too! Thank you 💞
Oh, the mists and the memories. The hard work, the beautiful Nell, Toby, and Tilly. You've captured it all in a nutshell of lovely scenes and beautiful, moving music.
Our pleasure! Thank you so much for the kind words.
I applaud your vision, work ethic, and tenacity! Yes, you will make it! I can't wait to see the rest of the transformation!
I can’t believe how far you have come on the renovations of this once loved cottage and the surrounding land. Wishing you the best of luck for the future from another ex-Stockporter now in Argyll Scotland 😊
You’ve got this! I forgot there was a lean to on back of stable it seems so long ago I love site manager Nell running around protecting everyone from the drone shots ❤
Been watching from the start of this journey and so proud of how much you have accomplished and the amount of love you have for each other and your kids, keep up the good work!
I did notice the extensive grading to make sure the water flow was directed to the edge of the woods and a small pond you created. This was , of course, the most important step in creating a livable home. Congratulation for first things first!
Those aerial views were a super help to understand the lay of the land. Amazing progress so far and looking forward to what you accomplish next year.
It looks amazing!Judging by your work rate and results so far I have no doubt that you will make it.x
Thank you for this recap. I’ve been with you the entire time and have been so excited to watch your process. The best is yet to come!
You are so welcome! Thank.you for watching and supporting us .

Thanks so much, we are chasing the sun each day
My gosh! What a difference. Congrats for your achievement. I'm 78 years old and like very much to accompany your hard work, and your love for animals. Best regards from Brasilia, Brazil
Wow, thank you! ♥️
Ireland is so lucky to have you guys.
You must feel so very proud when you watch this video. An amazing achievement so far ❤
Thank you ♥️
What a change it’s been! From nothing to something! Blessed beyond measure to have wonderful souls volunteer there services to help you both but I understand people liking you I did right away meeting you online to see it through with you both!!!
You have been drawn to this sacred land for a reason. You are fullfilling ancestoral dreams. I believe in you both. 🌹❤️🌹 Blessings 🌹❤️🌹
Wow, thank you. Yes it definitely feels like it was waiting for us.
@@theirishhomestead Beautiful. Thank you.
Thanks so much, the community spirit and people of Ireland are amazing
Gorgeous progress. Cheers from Ukraine 🇺🇦
Thank you so much Karen ♥️
And,YES, you’ll meet the deadline!
Thanks Sandra that's so kind. I really hope so!
Well done 👏 big pat on the back. The king and queen of pointing and so much more.💪👌🏴
I bet the training Sam is getting is a piece of cake compared to the strenuous work he has been doing since the build started.
And come on, people, get this lovely family up to the 100k subscribers 😊
There's something so satisfying about taking something old and making it " new!" We are " kindred spirits" in that. Well done, and the countryside is beautiful!
Thank you.
Thank you. His training is going really well. Has passes all assessments so far.
Keep the faith …
Durban SA 🇿🇦
Oh, I remember feeling your pain when the hard landscaping was done. It was necessary but heartbreaking at the same time. Great to see the now and then journey. God, the cladding period!! Well, it all looks fabulous now. It's great to see how many people are supporting you and rooting for you. Good luck with the next phase xx
Ahh yes that was so horrible for me. I'm glad now in hindsight we did it. Getting the land in order otherwise would have been back breaking.
What an achievement in such a short time, it is going to be an amazing family home.
Wow, you have achieved so much, well done
Thank you! 😃
Yes, you can do it
This drone footage was a journey back through memories. Love to you all.🌹
Thanks so much
I can not believe only 14 months have passed. What an achievement. It is good to look back, than you see that you have made big steps😊❤
What achievement. It's fantastic to see old houses been reborn. It's a credit to ye both. Best of luck with your course Sam.
Thanks so much. I did cry editing it. ♥️
So much work, so much trust, so much love ❤️! God bless you!
Amazing! Loved watching your dog running constantly in the drone vid!
What you have achieved in the time is truly amazing, made me feel emotional watching this, you will smash the house and deadline now ❤🏴
The drone footage from the beginning until now is absolutely amazing, what you have achieved is absolutely brilliant well done all of you ❤
Amazing how much you've accomplished so far! I'm sure you'll manage it.
Whoever has control of the drone a big well done fantastic, that was well a bit emotional really the music, how far you've come in such a short time,Toby wow amazing
Thanks. I thought it felt emotional, too when I was editing it. The drone is mostly Sam but I did a bit toward the end when the roof was going on.
Lovely Timelapse. Good luck with the next 4 months. Roof looks fab
oh Wow...OMGoodness.... what a spectacular video.
Thank you so much. So many love seeing Nell and the donks. Nell is crazy as soon as she hears the drobe fire up she's flying around, like a maniac!
There's nothing like a good love story.
Absolutely marvelous! Yes, you'll make it, I'm sure; from a poor old lady here in the outskirts of Washington, D. C. who's been cheering you on and praying for you every step of the way. You are an inspiration to us all. God bless you!
Just wonderful! And ‘Yes you can!’
You've come a long way with the renovation. The hardest part is behind you now so it will go much faster. Having the roof on now means you can being working on the inside and making it a cosy, welcoming home. I hope you make the grant deadline and good luck to Sam on his training course too.🤞
It's looking beautiful,a testament to all your hard work, well done guys. You will make that deadline ❤
👏👏👏👏💯Awesome achievement … thank you for sharing and hugs from Australia 🇦🇺 ♥️
The drone footage is such a remarkable memory jogger. If you'd been doing this reno 30 years ago you'd have been sending reels of film off to Boots for processing and getting them back 7 days later 😀😀😀 Fantastic work for all to see
So true! Good old Boots! 🤣
Been with you every step of they way. You have ALL done so well living in these conditions until you finish your dream home. Stay strong together and you will come through this tough part of making your forever home. Good luck to Sam on his course! 💕💕💕
Beautiful! Wonderful memories! Thank you for sharing. Much hugs, love and prayers from America. 🤗💖🙏🇺🇲
👍👏👏☘️👏👏👍Amazing well done.👍
i lost use of my mobility and miss doing and making stuff.. but i have been keeping an eye on you guys since your early days.. and oh man.. you're doing it guys.. you're doing it.. much love to you ok.
Tha ks so much Chris.
What year have achieved is nothing short of amazing, to have the roof fully tiled before Sam went off for firefighter training is fantastic, I bet you are missing him now Becky but it is so worth it as ye are setting up your future and yes you definitely will be finished in four months to get that grant, well done all of you
You’ll make it. You have done a truly stellar job so far!
Thank you so much!
Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to you all. xxx
Thank you I so agree. I think the house has been neglected so long its enjoying coming back to life with sturdier parts. 😉👍
It must be great to look back and see what you’ve all achieved. I’m sure watching this this will spur you on to know that together you really can do anything. At least you’re working in the dry now to get all the other pesky jobs done in time. I hope the training is going well too. My absolute favourite channel! 😊
It was a great boost watching this. Although it didn't cover the inside I know it helped Sam.
Beautiful video and what an accomplishment. You guys are making a beautiful homestead.
Thank you so much!
Amazing progress. Just love watching you. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
What a great nutshell of the journey! Very I’m pressed with what you’ve accomplished in a short period of time! Toby & Tilly are definitely king and queen of the homestead and it’s all coming together so nicely!
Thanks so much!♥️
As a lifelong builder it was such a joy to watch this recap. You and Sam are so hard working, unstopable, sensible. and sensitive. And your workers are hero warriors against disorder and disfunction. Keep up the good work on your place and your terrific videos!
Thanks that's so kind Pat. We appreciate the kind support.b
Beautiful video. Incredible progress on the whole build👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks for giving us this view of the renovation To anyone new, there was so much more that was done inside the building. Go watch it all.
Yes there was! I only showed the drone footage for this recap to commemorate the roof going on.
Aww thanks. I admit I cried editing this. ♥️
I admire you, you have so much achieved in such a short time!
Brilliant progress and a very good job done on that roof. A job like that takes determination and hard graft and you folks have lots of that
Thank you. 💪♥️
