Just got one yesterday so far so good. But I woke up this morning tank empty and it was still
Running is there a chance that there could have been water in the base still?

Thank you for your inquiry. This humidifier is equipped with an automatic shut off. When the unit runs out of water, the heating element will turn itself off. I use both the liquid vapo-steam & vapopads at the same time, is that alright? I like using both bc I love the aroma of vicks & I feel the more concentrated the smell the better it clears my passages.☆☆♡♡
