It is incredible that no one was killed and I haven't heard (so far!) of any serious injuries. This is why people who do public events need to make sure they have a plan that includes permits, security, etc. Someone with 6 million followers can't just say he'll show up in a public park to give away what amounts to thousands of dollars in free technology and expect it to be a manageable crowd. This is what happens when people become wealthy and famous too young to know how to manage it and don't have professional managers who know how to do these things without chaos.
