- Today on Real Reviews we are testing out how to pair 2 of the JBL Partybox 310 portable Bluetooth speakers. Then we put the 2 JBL Partybox 310 up against the LG CK99.
These JBL 310's really jam with clear vocals, full bass and cool lighting effects. Not to mention they have a built in battery that lasts up to18hrs on a 3hr charge so you can take them anywhere. They are also IPX4 water resistant so you can even use it near the pool with no worries.
But how do they hold up against the 2 15" subs of the CK99?

i have a partybox 710 connected to TWO 310s, and it sounds amazing, the 710 gives the low low bass (shakes my room at 25hz and gets 35hz at -6db) the only small problem with the partybox 710 is that since it doesn't have midrange speakers, the mids aren't that great, but what surprises me about the pb310s is how GOOD the mids are, the 310s added to my 710 makes it sound so open and great, i also love that my two 310s are portable and i can take that outside, and while im inside i can connect them to my main speaker
Very good point and an issue with many of these types of speakers. They lack a bit of range but overall still get the job done.
@@Real_Reviews nah bro, honestly the 310s are perfect in midrange, but every single other partybox lacks mids, i don't know how the 310 does it since it has woofers lol😅😅, but definitely the mids sound great on them and definitely improves the sound of my 710
@calyxl43 I meant as opposed to separates. I was heavy into car audio and had lows, mids, and highs all separate, each with frequency ranges managed by an eq. That way way they only play the frequency intended for them and no mid / bass split.

Yes kinda by a lot. But the 310s seem to play more frequencies. But honestly, you can not really use the CK99 too loud anyway unless you want to tear your house apart and blow your eardrums. One 310 is plenty, and two is even better since you can place each in a corner.
Just bought a ck99 and im not disappointed. The damn thing hits

Hi, and thanks for subscribing. I did purchase a decibel meter but although expensive it was highly innacrate. For this reason, I could not use the readings and did not make a video. The meter was actually showing higher decibels for the 310's consistently, though.

Unfortunately I had to sell my CK99 due to space issues and the age of the speaker. Will be doing a 320 vs 310 in the next couple days.
I have 1 JBL 310 and I wanna get another one, question is if I should Buy a 710 and keep it always at home and use the 310 for outside purposes, Or just get another 310. What do you guys think?
I would probably go with a 710 for home and the 310 outside like you suggested. That way, when they are together, you can connect them up and get some extra bass.

Just got my JBL Partybox 310 a few days ago, and still can't believe how awesome it sounds, especially if you download the JBL Partybox app, then you get a 3 band equalizer plus 2 additional separate bass modes. Trust me, when I say, the app significantly improves the sound quality of the 310s. With the app, they sound way better, because they sound far more open, clear, and dynamic, once you use the 3 band equalizer, plus the 2 separate bass modes that they give you via the app. You can also get far more out of the lightshow with app, as it gives you different additional light patterns, plus the ability to mix the colors to your desire, and you can also pick directly the color you want to be shown.
Overall, I think there's simply nothing better out there in terms of the price-performance relationship in the Partybox Series. I also have a pair of the Partybox 1000s from JBL and of course they sound even more impressive and way louder than the 310s, but keep in mind that they cost twice as much per unit as the 310s. I also have the Partybox On The Go, a very good sounding speaker, but it unfortunately suffers from a really weak battery. As I planned to used it in my car, I bought a car socket for it that can be plugged directly into my cigarettes' lighter in my old Toyota Corolla. That way I solved the weak battery problem, as the car socket provides it with a steady 13.7 volts, more than the required 12 volts needed to power it in a car.
Wow, that is really good information. We do use the app, but I never realized all those additional features you mentioned and will need to check it out. We were using another Bluetooth speaker yesterday and thought it sounded good. Then we turned on the 310, and wow, what a world of difference.

Keep in mind that the partybox 310 won't produce 240watts unless it's plugged in 😅
I am waiting on a decibel meter to verify this. I will be making a video.
Just an update. I did get a decibel meter, but it was incredibly inaccurate. I can say, however, the speakers are louder when plugged in for sure. I just can not say by how much.
every JBL speakers (even JBL portable speakers) gets +25% power boost when plugged in

The partyboxes are significantly less powerful on battery. Couldn't tell if they were plugged in

Yes, I agree. It's too bad I bought the CK99 a few years ago. I will wait until it's no longer produced and sell.
I'm a big bass fan so for bass in the house ain't nothing JBL makes as far as bluetooth speakers go that will touch it not even close.

It's close. But in person, the 320 takes it. Honestly, I feel there may have been some creative factory EQ settings that give the 320 the edge. Some have commented this same thing between the 1000 and the Ultimate. The 310 and 320 are both good speakers.
