Thank you very much! It certainly will! I’m not sure when it’ll be finished but it’ll be great to get the wall up and the main plants in this week, then I can spend the time on the little details while I save up for the rest of the materials 😂
Thanks! Trying to do daily update vids this week (while I’ve got nothing to do 😂), they might be a bit more informal but it’ll hopefully be interesting to see the project evolve!
Total respect, be careful with that back. Got a herniated disc last year digging my garden up by hand for 2 new patios to be laid. Backs fixed now 🙏 worst thing is we've just bought a new house and will have to start all again 🤦 look forward to your videos every week, great inspiration 👏👏👏👍
Thanks and I’m pleased you’ve got your back issue sorted, lesson learnt for the new house I guess! It’s exciting to have a new project though so good luck with it! I know I’ll probably have some issues as I get older but if there’s two things that the strongman game does give you as positives it’s definitely developing strength in awkward positions and also knowing your limits - how to hold your technique and not compromise if for heavy objects. I’m trying to do daily informal progress vids while I’ve got a week off, hopefully the daily changes will be interesting 😃
Thank you very much! I’m trying to do more informal daily update videos while I’ve got a week off, a bit of a personal challenge but it’ll hopefully be interesting to see the project evolve. The timelapse was definitely a way of jazzing this one up! I’m pleased you get where I’m coming from with the gravel, it looks more like a grave than the cliff I had in mind so more variety is needed! 😂
@@GeorgesJungleGarden A lot of work to make these videos, but good idea to make some more updates :) Not only you are a great gardener and botany person, but also a genuine youtuber!
@@GeorgesJungleGarden Back to you for a second... When I talked about the editing of the intro, I was also refering to the beautiful pictures you included in it. :). About YT, very few people take as much care of their followers as you do. Have a great sunny/busy day mon cher George!
@@shineamenmbs3107 Thank you very much Bernard! I want to jazz up the montage as few people would sit through a one minute surprise timelapse and those are the key plants in the area so I thought they fitted in well. Hi George you making the most of that strongman muscle memory 💪 Could you pump the concrete out the mixer and wheel barrow it down with 2 or 3 others on a wheel barrow conveyor 🧐 loving the frequent updates 👍
Hi Harold, you’ve got it! It’s just too far unfortunately otherwise I’d have definitely gone for that or a pump. Hi George, if you go to the builders merchants, granno 4mm to dust gravel will give you that Mediterranean look your going for. See it in person first as some can look a bit too grey for my liking
Hi Luke and thanks, I hadn’t considered it but it definitely would. I think the key is a selection of different sized rocks and stones too, to make the whole area look more natural 👍

Hi George , amazing work , well done , I know exactly the amount of work you have in front of you , I’ve also been digging out footings for 4 big walled structures in our garden , I was labels as the footie digger and my other half layer the blocks , I think next time I’ll do the block work . We’ve got heAvy clay so it was extremely hard work . Be careful with your back and knees , it takes a few seconds to mess them up and a good few months for them to heal , I could have done with your muscles 💪. Your project is going to look brilliant , won’t be long and you’ll be sat there pint in hand watching the stars . X😁
