20 FPS looks playable actually. I remember back in the day when I could not afford a better PC I was playing some games on 20 even 15 fps. As long as there is no stuttering and frame drops, 20 is playable and you get used to it after 5-10 minutes of gameplay.

i played with gt730 1gb q6600 2.47ghz 8 ram. 50 fps in empty places in the city 35. I realized one thing after 3 days of playing it did not lag the computer gets used to the game and adapts to the game itself. At first I played at low I don’t advise fps less than at an average resolution of 720p 1280 1024.

That said, I was able to complete the game on that PC but I prefer playing this game on PS3 or XBOX 360.
I own a macbook air 2020 m1 and emulated gta 4, the performance was 30(ish)fps and ran smooth, but in crowded places/too many assets, less than 20 fps ran.

Specs as follows: 3GB Ram, Intel Core 2 Duo, with 500GB HDD, then installed an NVidia 1GB used GPU that i bought for only 5$. And completed GTA IV, GTA V, GTA BOGT, GTA TLAD and also loved playing Rise of the Tomb Rider alot. The story and graphics were remarkable. Then my GPU died, later my PC. RIP 😂

@@123ucr you can play GTA 5 old version that is only 61GB after installation. And i believe is much better than the 100GB one. And the latest one like 100+GB is hard to run on many PCs. The biggest difference i've seen in 61GB vs 100GB was that 61GB had more better performance + more animals. Meanwhile 100GB didn't.

here's my opinion: For GTA 4, 1 ,5, and 10 is a horrible FPS. Be grateful if you got 20FPS because that's playable. 30 and 60 is the most decent FPS but 100 FPS is the most dangerous frame of all. Don't try to get 100 FPS because that will break the game's physics.

BIG FAIL with this video. in order to see the effect of FPS we need to see it in real time. 5FPS is just slowed footage. actual 5FPS should be the game working normally but you only show 'glimpses' of it happening. when you are playing this game, at any FPS, it takes X amount of seconds for Niko to jump out of a moving car and roll down the street to a complete stop. however in your footage you just recorded it at a normal frame rate and then presenting the footage as a slideshow. that's not framerate at all! 1:47 whatever the frame rate is, the footage is also SLOWED which defeats the purpose of the comparison and doesn't show actual
