Not a huge increase in power, not sure it was really worth doing, unless you were doing other mods too.
Maddog: is there a way to take a pellet revolver and mod it to shoot .43 rubber balls???
Old school worked fine for me and the F-22 Raptor, 3thousanths of an inch was all the engineers required for most tolerances. Works well for most modern/new school tinkering.
Looking at the old and new ports side by side, there seems to be little difference.
I wonder if French market guns have larger ports as standard, explaining the modest gains you saw.
Probably needs valve mods to really see the benefits.
Thank you, in the UK here so trying to get as close to 6 as I can because I use it for short range vermin control in the coop. Just waiting for chrono to turn up, to see where I am at the moment.
You loose power by pushing the pellet far in to the bridge
Nice video again nice gun 👍🏻
Love all mods I got crosman 2260 variant tossing 14.3 premier at around 900fps
Not great results but I do enjoy you videos 👍
My 2240 shoots 454 fps with 14.3 grain pellets, right out of the box !
I’m here in the United States and legal limits for possession of airguns mean nothing
I have the exact same type of Crossman CO2 pistol with a longer barrel and with a stock then make it a rifle and I think I’m getting about maybe 10 foot pounds to 9 foot pounds out of the barrel
I suppose I could get a different transfer port and I suppose I can get a longer inserting nipple to maybe get a few sub foot pounds but it really would be worth it. I have a little scope on it and it’s for small children it’s light and it shows them the basics and fundamentals of March and shipping to save manner.
I also have an Air Force talon and early one that has a CO2 bottle. I leave on it and it’s held CO2 for years and it too with an excellent piece of glass is great to give to small children.
CO2 is highly dependent on the external temperature. It gets too low. It’s going to affect the velocity limited because it’s sublimating from a liquid to a gas but it also makes it a lot more uniform from shot to shot. That’s good for target work.
Ya unlimited 🥰👍✌️🇺🇸
Power in grease is it me or did it loose power?
What grain pellet?
Is it legal to modified by the owner it self to get 20j..
If the weapon just get 10j from begining ?
Airguns in France come under Category D, and in the French firearms regulations as of September 2015, there is no mention saying you can't modify your own guns to achieve 20joules. From wikipedia: Category D: Pepper spray, air guns, non-convertible guns designed to fire blanks, gas, or signal ammunition, stun batons, black powder guns (non-metallic cartridge), deactivated guns, and guns with a patent older than January 1st, 1900. Weapons that fire projectiles in a non-pyrotechnic manner with a muzzle energy between 2 and 20 joules and their ammunition (e.g. airsoft guns, paintball guns, etc.). Exceptions include all metallic, smokeless-powder firearms made before 1900.[4]
Fair do. You made abetter job of that, than your butchered probe video. Much easier with the correct tools, don't you think.
Ant chance you could send me a xmas present,
