    HOW TO ANSWER TEAMWORK INTERVIEW QUESTIONS (TOP TIPS!)
    INTERVIEW TIP #1 - In your answers to these teamwork interview questions, talk about how you focused on the team objectives and the END GOAL.
    INTERVIEW TIP #2 - Show you have a thorough understanding of what it takes to manage and motivate a team.
    INTERVIEW TIP #3 - In your answers, demonstrate you are a determined, resolute, and resourceful employee!
    Q. How Do You MotivateYour Team?
    TIP #1. Have a set number of things you do to motivate a team - this shows you are an organized person.
    TIP #2. Don’t forget to talk about getting to know your team members in your answer. If you know your team members, it is much easier to motivate them!
    TIP #3. One of the most important things to do when motivating any team is to PRAISE your staff when appropriate! One of main causes of demotivation amongst team members is them not feeling appreciated or valued.
    Q. How Would You Deal With Conflict Within A Team?
    TIP #1. Do not let team conflict fester. Deal with it straight way.
    TIP #2. Encourage team members to resolve the conflict themselves and explain how important an effective and fully functioning team is to the financial and commercial goals of the organization.
    Q. Tell me about a time when you dealt with an underperforming member of a team?
    TIP #1. When dealing with any type of team underperformance, make sure you find out what the root cause is. Do not jump to conclusions.
    TIP #2. When dealing with the underperformance, be firm but supportive.
    Q. Tell me about a difficult team you had to manage?
    TIP #1. Managing teams can be challenging at times, especially if there are one or two members who make your job difficult. In your answer, demonstrate you have the confidence and the tools needed to deal with a difficult team!
    TIP #2. When dealing with a difficult team, communication is really important. Set boundaries, set objectives and never lose sight of your goal!

    I do not agree with the suggestion on the question with the conflict. In the end, there was no concrete answer on how exactly would you sort out the problem. I tell my employees to sort the problem out on their own, and if there is no progress I will act? But how? What exactly should I do? We need an example and here it is. I want a solution to this one. You have two employees who had an argument and one decides to leave because he does not want to be in a team with the other one. They both are important to you.
