Hi, Uncle Brian. It has been 2 years since I started watching you. The only regret I have is that I didn't watch you before. I'm 25 years old , I'm young entrepreneur in Turkey. I just wanna thank you for all of the lessons. I believe that if I started watching you by the age of 16 ,I would probably be a very successful entrepreneur by now. This is the best school I have ever been to. THANK YOU
Feeling appreciated is a massive one. People will often go the extra mile. Also, as a boss, perpetual optimism is critical to share with the team when business is tough.
To become a leader, become a role model first. I believe that to motivate my team, I must show them that I willing to do it first and encourage people to do it with me.
I can't believe my eyes, Brian Tracy. I read his books literally 25 years ago. He changed my life with them and now I get to listen to him on UA-cam. Great six points of leading a team. I'll be using this for sure.
@@LiableLife oh I don't remember the headlines anymore. Recently I read THE SELLING SKILLS (or so I don't know the original title). But the advice he gives is immensely valuable. How about you?
Brian, I’ve been listening to you and reading your books since I was 18, like 34 years ago. What an inspiration you have been to me (now a business owner). Your teachings have helped shape who I am today.
Thank u very much sir I was really enlighten. I needed a lesson like this for a group seminar project which I am my team members would be presenting in class very soon and I got just what I wanted 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good advice. I often need to think to myself- What motivates me? I also know that my current employees have so much to learn, so also knowing HOW I can help them improve helps me as well.
Creating a collaborative environment of course. There's nothing more precious like being valued at what you are doing, being appreciated for your efforts is an engine to want to do more to achieve that goal
I agree to a point, I believe first and foremost they money has to be there FIRST if an employee is going home after a hard productive day and at the end of the week they can’t afford to live then the motivation dies.
My sincere appreciation to all that you do. Learnt a lot from your books. This video was great and am to implement all your ideas and tips, to go with positive feedback and sharing the vision.
Great video thank you. This summer will be my first as a supervisor and will definitely implement everything learned here. Feeling Appreciated is definitely a big plus
Thanks for supporting us, your extended family! So glad I'm subscribing to this. The one action I will take is to lead by example! I will also be more thoughtful with giving compliments, I know how they have motivated me. Great subject matter, we are thankful for you Mr. Tracy.
In the retail business so many are lacking in the "collaborative" efforts. It's kind of difficult to generate motivation without a collaborative mindset from the higher-ups in a company. Unfortunately, people tend to not be motivated if they don't feel their worth on the job. Thank you for this video, Brian, this is a great subject to explore further. I really appreciate the "WHY" example! 👌🙏😇🙌🙌🙌😺
Fantastic video Brian! I have been following your work for years and you have inspired me to get my work out there and to be a better leader. I have been so inspired by you that I have recently set up my own UA-cam channel and am putting my head above the parapet despite my fear of visibility. Would love any feedback/support from the community if anyone feels called to help. Thank you so much for your service to the world!
@Sarah Claire Ryan, Just checked out your channel. Going to go thru your vids later on today__sound very interesting, some subjects more than others (through personal experience). You go, girl! 🙌🙌🙌😺
👌👌👌My daily tools, listening to your videos. It more helpful not only to the group that we are leading as leaders but also helping us in our leadership skills.
First and foremost I would lead by example. This boosts the team's spirit and to be able to motivate them to do their work too. Secondly, to listen to the employees and understand them, and to shar emy vision on what the business is about and the importance of it to them, me and customers
"What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise." --Oscar Wilde. I found that initial failure with my study and meditation music UA-cam channel caused me to change course. Hopefully it was a blessing in disguise.
I will work on knowing the team members and fulfilling their needs. I will be setting examples for my team members so that they will also get motivated. I will value the work of my team members and create a collaborative team environment. I will share my vision with my team members- the broader picture we are working for and how their efforts are helping to reach that.
I have studied Ur The Science of Motivation Book no no its a nectar or its like immortality Bce its make me to wake up early Motivates me instantly Thanks a lot Brian Tracy
I will motivat and will do inspire during the work ab after work aswell.will count Positive happens things and will do Meditation like visualize and affirmation motivation
Finding the team, detailing my ideas and visions to their understanding and encouraging them to publish and develop it with me in the best way possible for win win achievement s😍.
It's a challenge for myself in sharing my vision to my team. But the key words said to lead by example includes showing them what Excellence looks like.. show them what excellence looks like. That is what I was honestly not doing. Showing them by my example , what excellence looks like on a regular daily routine and positive praises of commending and encouragement all leads to higher grounds with the team in toil.. good clean words.. show what excellence *Looks* Like !!!
It's interesting how Brian Tracy and Jack Canfield release weekly videos at the exact same day, and the exact same time. As if someone told them Thursday at 1PM is the ideal time to release a video.
Actually that precise time is also good to send out newsletters. Its past the rush of the week, but before slowdown on Friday. Also, its after lunch on Thursday so the morning rush is gone. Its a sweet spot for attention availability of viewers.
I want to be like him. He is a great and successful person, I'm 27 years old but I'm single mother I'm trying to learn how to increase my knowledge about finances.
Create a collaborative environment Share your vision and goals Provide positive feedback Understand your team member’s work ethic and style Be a great example Allow growth and personal development
I would just simply talk with my team members about their life situations and try to solve their problems which gives them trust in me and it gets motives them bcz they think I actually care about them and I mean it.
This works better than a lot of people realize. And it isn't even about becoming best friends with your co-workers or trying to kiss up to your boss by buying them a beer, spending time with your co-workers when you're not at work reminds us that maybe work is the thing that stresses everyone out and not each other 😂
If you want to motivate your employees, it starts the day they work. The employer must pay a livable wage. If the employer does not, then do not expect anyone to go above and beyond. Just do your assigned tasks . You never go above and beyond. Why? It wont get you anywhere.
CONGRATULATIONS BRIAN TRACY FINALLY 1 Million! LET'S MAKE 1 Million JACK CANFIELD ALSO GO TO HIS CHANNEL SUBSCRIBE HE ALSO UPLOAD VIDEO AT SAME TIME LIKE BRIAN TRACY. 2 LEGENDS
This can be helpful but I would provide a few caveats to the boss jumping in mode, one is that you better not jump in the middle and then get everyone to rush, the fact that you're there already indicates that you're looking for the team to get the project done you really don't need to do it in sort of an anxious and hurried way that just makes everyone uncomfortable. The second caveat is actually know what you're doing, if you jump in the middle of a project but end up slowing it down because people need to keep explaining things to you you're not helping. Third caveat is, consider whether or not jumping in the project is the best use of your time as a supervisor, if there are more important things that only a supervisor can do that need to be done as well perhaps finish those before jumping in and helping the team finish their work.

I agree
I never lose. I either win or I learn.
To become a leader, become a role model first. I believe that to motivate my team, I must show them that I willing to do it first and encourage people to do it with me.
I was thought this same way
Positive feedback is a huge motivator.

When you remove your coat and jump in the middle of your team and do the same what they are doing is highly a great motivation..
