Tyler really cant read. only a few minutes in and he keeps turning the pages backwards instead of reading forwards. i both love and hate watching this.
I’m never beating the allegations
@@OlexaYT It's only allegations if it hasn't been proven. You are straight up convicted, brother.
He be like that, I get frustrated sometimes
The amount of pain this caused >.
also reading comprehension is weak with this one.
Tyler has the same marketing ability as those mobile game ads that play poorly on purpose to get people to install because they want to see it done better
Except it's not deliberate, he just has perception 0 lol. Great content, just rolling nat 1's all the time.
Omg you read my mind
He’s 10% as bad for that as Northernlion, at least
@@joshburns1777 this new game is balatro x sts x sap!!! then you click and the man is playing marvel rivals
Lemme tell you right now, it's working on me.
Olexa: Has infinite time
Still Olexa: Attempts each job like he has a countdown timer
Mentally of cut twice instead of measuring twice to cut once.
just fully leaving that oil canister attached to that ship
It's extra just in case they run out in the way ofc
Bought the game 'cause it looks hella cool and I can't possibly watch Olexa fumble it for 40 more minutes! Thanks for the great recommend Olenky!
Skills: reading, despite claims to the contrary.
Concerns: Complete lack of knowing how a manual works.(as he flips to the cover page of the ID device repair then promptly reads the last page of the instructions about the device before it.)
Candidate makes up for rage inducing moments with charm and charisma.
Note: Candidate is required to pay for replacement monitor before starting first work shift.
I think it's great advertisement and initiating purchases to fill such a video with "YOURE PLAYING THIS WRONG, GOVE ME THE CONTROLLER!! " moments.
Olexa in a nutshell tbh
The book: "If subject is in shadow, replace the bulb."
Subject: *In shadow*
Tyler: *tries to replace ink*
I am in fear about what things you might have fixed yourself irl
I love to see Tyler struggling with books. It hads even more to the lore that he doesn't know to read
IF 26:50 is engagement bait, consider me baited.
A socket wrench has nothing to do with screws, and the switch changes the direction of the ratcheting mechanism. Would work exactly as seen in this game, assuming you don't completely remove the bolts from the ship (which they don't)
Ya, I screwed up on this one lol
@@OlexaYT this is why mechanics take pictures. To put stuff back the way they found it.
"If this is hell, this is where I belong."..."I'm Lisan al Gaib." Never change dude.
Here's a tip. theres a storage thing next to the refilling station where you can put broken things or the liquid canister thing to keep for the next days or when you figure out how to fix stuff
God that’s a good shout
Seems like a love letter to Hardspace: Shipbreaker, but with an occult twist. With all the alchemical sigils scattered around, meeting death, and the blood and pus in the refilling station I'm guessing this game gets _really_ weird later on.
Tyler Vs Extremely Spiky Pneumatic Grinding Station is a fight I would pay to see
I think you're an excellent advertisment for these types of games, since your inability to read makes me want to play the game myself and prove I can do it better. Just like those mobile ads. Regardless, I'd love to shout at my screen for a whole series of this.
This was one of the most entertaining and frustrating episodes to watch, Olexa really can't read and I wouldn't have it any other way. Please make more videos on this game!
He can read but doesn't want to or has issues comprehending what was read seconds ago.
Books usually go left to right 😂 Getting to the camera page and then going back to the previous pages on the left trying to fix a whole different thing.
Maybe he just reads manga exclusively?
Bought the game after watching this and boy - this is really really fun. I’d love to see you attempt more videos on this seeing how you seem to struggle on the basics lol
The level of misunderstanding is up the roof
Bought about 5 minutes into the video. Very cool to see the creativity that the devs came up with as a design engineer myself
How sleep deprived are you to play this game. Holy cheese curls crushed and baked with manwich sauce.
Despite causing me to experience physical agony while watching this, I'd like a series on this.
Chat and the video is peak and the video is cinema, Finished the game just before the christmas period, was not expecting an olexa video on it!!! Hyped as hell :3
Thinking about getting it. How long is a play through?
First video I saw of yours and I enjoyed it. Thanks. I could watch you repair space ships all day long!
It really is a bit of a conundrum because one must learn to read, but also reads to learn
You can learn without reading but the efficiency drops to 1% and common sense or life experience is needed to compensate.
Tyler do you read a lot of manga or something, you're trying to read that manual backwards lmao
This is the first time I've ever yelled at my TV in frustration.
No offense, I watched about 15 minutes and then ignored the rest of the video while buying the game on steam. This. Game. Was. Made. For. ME!
That's how youtubers get sponsorships - just be so annoying at the games that people will stop watching and go buy the game to do it themselves
@ingvarsuigin609 rofl hey, it's OK we love Tyler BECAUSE he can't read
i read the comments before the video and thought it couldn't be that bad, but when he started reading the wrong page for the identification and bought an item he didn't need, kinda made me crazy
You’ll survive I’m sure
@@OlexaYT well it got me to buy the game and it's pretty fun so thanks
I just tried this and am absolutely floored by the creativity (only 2 days in and already addicted). Thanks for keeping on bringing the hidden gems!
Man these comments are something else.. I've had this series going in the background since you started playing and I have been enjoying them so much I just had to start from the beginning again.
This is one of the best series you have done and your commentary over the gameplay is 11/10. I'm happy I caught it and can't wait for more episodes.
That devil guy made a huge mistake sending you back. You shoulda stayed in the hot place.
48:03 this is why there needs to be a series of this game
A series of this would make me wanna go insane. I def want a series of it
what are you on about at 26:47 saying that screws dont magically reappear? i see no screw disappearing or reappearing
lmao he didnt even respond he just left a
Man I'm just happy to see him play this game.Hopefully we get a Switch and Ipad port in the future.
You can enjoy it portable. It's fully playable on the Steam Deck and makes a lot of fun 😉
You left your oil canister with the vehicle in the tutorial :c
Also thanks for going slow, I'm quite slow with this
dude i discovered your channel last week and im addicted to it , thanks for the good content ^^
i love the part where you get to "position the subject in the center" and then immediately decide that you're supposed to do something completely different and unrelated instead
My favorite parts were when he said "Let's just read the whole thing first" then got distracted after a single line.
And when he spent minutes trying to figure out what a camera do.
Really appreciate you still pumping out content. Enjoy it all
Yesss, one of the few times I’ve played a nieche rougelike before Tyler.
This was wildly entertaining, really needs to be a series.
I wanna see someone play this as you do things in real life. ,,who needs a book? I can figure out how to do it my self"
Meanwhile mechanic simulator has no book.
Please make this a series because seeing you crack under pressure is so very pleasing to me
I recently started playing this as well and it has hooked me, I will def continue watching your play through as well!! Love your content, you are the one that got me into roguelike games and I never knew what I’ve been missing. Keep up the good stuff my man
Biblically-accurate fox can't hurt me.
I really like that you choose the focused one. I sometimes feellike i have to choose the one that is harder for me to be a real gamer as opposed to accepting everyone is different
Man. How could you look at that photo and not think the flash bulb was busted 😭 the bulb even has a crack in it
This would be so great as a series. Hell, I'd pay to watch tyler attempt to follow a manual
Not in real life right? He may blow him self up dealing with gas or get electrocuted dealing with electrical.
This was a MASSIVE pain to watch. I lost my mind when Tyler said "Believe it or not, but I have dozens of hours using tools"
Psst: using them wrongly.
IKEA? I LIKEA.
I'm both laughing and in pain at the same time. This is some next level content.
21:01 except forgetting the canister attached to the oil pump :)))
Should be tipped for that, left extra oil for easy future refueling :)
Watching everything click in that final job was so satisfying! I can physically feel myself being influenced to get this one. GG!
I actually love this game. I played plenty of it and despite the player thinking 'If I just remember the entire manual I'll win' that's not it. Just knowing the contents of the manual is just half the battle with all things that can go wrong additionally or change stuff.
"Let's put the screws back in because i don't need to access anything in there anymore" man that aged like milk
OMG the level of starfox vibes when I heard the first npc talk 😂❤
The identification module part was kind of frustrating to watch lmao but I love so you we're good
I had 10 hours in this game when I started this video. Watching you with the ID Module was somethin' else, lol. I kept imagining: "I can't wait until he tackles AI and Reactor modules!".
Hey Tyler I didn't even read the title. I just see you post and I watch lol
I need another part to this, but dear god learn to read 😭😭 I loved the vid either way, keep it up!
That's one of the best tutorials I've ever seen.
Watch out for these what not do to do.
This was really frustrating to watch, but it was a lovely video anyways, look forward to watching more.
Not going to lie I skipped over this one but after I saw a second upload for it had to come back and watch them both.
Please play more of this! This was very fun to watch!
PLEASE do this as a full serious, that'd go so hard
I really loved this game. There is a lot more than meets the eye to this game. Even playing on no time limit mode, there was plenty of challenge for me.
great video for training my anger management! really want to yell but i'm at a coffee shop
Some people never learned to put the square peg in the square hole and it shows
The new gen when all the pegs fit in the square hole. I will just put them all in the square hole to save time despite not being timed.
Another game I wouldn't have guessed I'd like at first glance and then I got hooked by Olexa.
Love it! Seems similar to Tin Can and Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
This looks pretty close to how you take your car in for an oil change and they bill you for a new motor
Or they replace worn out parts attached to where the oil is stored.
This would have been a pleasant watch if tyler knew how to read
Strange, I get more of a spiritual successor to Night in the Woods vibes off this.
They can turn anything into a rogue like, what's next? Ants?
As a swede, reading the title i was like "sounds right up my IVAR!"
26:52 that is a ratcheting socket and is how it works😂
Brother, now you have to make another episode to clear your name that you do, in fact, know how to read a book
Knowing how and doing well are very different things. I read thousands of books I find it extremely difficult to write a book.
@loganshaw4527 Huh? This was in reference to Olenky reading a book right to left, nothing to do with doing well. Exclusively meant for the actual book reading part of this episode
@@WD_Gaster66 he must be reading to many mangas.
"I'm gonna read this carefully" *three seconds later*: skips reading part of the instructions. Listen, some people just don't like reading instruction manuals, especially under pressure, that's completely fine. I admire a person of action.
I, on the other hand, tend to prepare TOO much which, coupled with an absolutely non-existent short term memory and very suspect intermediate memory, creates a feed back loop that can stun lock me for minutes at a time. I think people would be more mad at me than you. :P
I love ikea furniture, its fun to build
Gotta love roguelike videos from my favorite UA-camr Olexa, aka Lisan Al Gaib, aka The Antichrist
Let me tell you, your sales pitch is working great on me. You're making me want to buy this game simply to do the jobs better than you're doing them.
Please, more of this. It's awesome.
Soon they'll turn ME into a roguelike...
This is an incredible viewer experience
I have never been more frustrated in my life as I am watching this. This makes me feel incredibly privileged, but also I now have an unscratchable itch in my soul
you will persevere. i believe in you
Doesnt like time pressure
Thinks back to Afterword
Yeah that checks out actually
I love how the comment section is roasting Olexa. XD
they make roguelites out of anything nowadays
This is how it feels when i build furniture
Having issues with the T and L brackets?
Dave the diver vibes. Im loving It
am asuming that the three little dots upper from the emoji face are the amount of issues it has
This game will be the downfall of all UA-camrs because they pretty much never read anything
Most youtubers skip the tutorials.
I love that you cover this one!
Kids, this is your brain on sleep deprivation.
im screaming at him with the second job
because of this, I am going to get the game hahaha the vid is very entertaining and really puzzling
I really enjoyed this (even though got frustrateda as heck, but that's part of the charm I suppose) I hope to see more :)
