It is not up to me to decide what is and is not cultural appropriation of Hindu traditions, but given that Hinduism is the second largest religion in Indonesia, I can imagine a person who was raised in Indonesia is in a much better position to decide what is and is not ok.

Lots of mirroring visual effects and layering of multi-Raja on screen.. kind of like Manila's One Night in Bangkok, but I think the overall visual would be much more fitting to Zubi Zubi Zubi.
