Chris I just started watching your vloggs. Used to see you on Adam the Woos's videos. I just took my first trip to Disneyland after going to Disney World all my life from Canada. I just want to tell you I love how you often find a quiet moment in your video's and tell us how special individually we are.. Thank You. You are special Chris
I was a College Program Intern there in 2003. Was an Aquarium Curator. The details of that role, included the fish feed shows as well as cleaning out a couple of these smaller exhibit tanks
🎶when an eel comes out and bites off your snout.. its a moray🎶 I feel bad about the wee little puffer.. he needs to see a school counselor 🐡 Of course the Coral Reef serves fish.. did you expect them to walk to the Mexico pavilion to catch a bite?😁 Tanks for taking us on a tour of the aquarium, I haven't been there in years.🖤
The original Living Seas had an "elevator" that took you "down" to the Sea base. The large tubes in the main concourse originally were for divers. Water would fill them, and the divers would go out the top.
Fun fact: the Scuba Divers go into the tank to clean the entire aquarium including the corals! Another fun fact is that people used to actually see what it was like for a scuba diver to prepare to go into the tank.
Manta Tees? Like manta ray T-shirts? Hey did you know Manatees closest relatives or elephants, hyraxes, aardvarks,, elephant shrew and the golden mole. I’m an educator at an aquarium. I would tell you an aquarium joke just for the halibut, but I can’t think of any jokes .
SO cool! Thanks for the tour and the trivia! We've been going to the Living Seas since the mid-1980s, and didn't know even half of the great insights and tips you shared. (My mind is still boggled that the EPCOT "golf ball" would fit inside the aquarium, with room to spare!) Even though we live close to WDW, we absolutely _love_ your videos. (Trivia: My mother created all the artwork for the original Disneyland board game, back in the 1950s.)
I was able to scuba dive in the tank this year during my visit. I had a blast waving at the kids on the other side of the glass. Highly recommended tour.
We can't wait to see your experience 💦My daughter did the DiveQuest experience this past summer. The little kids watching the divers were excited when she waved back & high-fived them at the glass.
I found out as I exited the Finding Nemo attraction March 2010 Was very cool. My son was 6 at the time so we looked at everything spent almost 2 hours walking around.
To me, you did this in the wrong order. You technically entered through the EXIT. The attraction was originally designed for you to ride the ride first, and then be dumped out into Sea Base Alpha (the aquarium). When they rethemed the pavilion to Nemo, they put the swirling turtles scene into the tunnel that used to have windows into the aquarium all around you. Other than retheming the ride and adding Turtle Talk, they have left this amazing aquarium alone.
Yes very friendly, docile. Think cows of the sea💙However in the wild they are protected species and you cannot not touch them. I grew up in FL 80’s/90’s ❤️Manatees.

Years ago, my husband participated in their Dive Quest here. It was wild watching him swimming in this aquarium!!

Love aquariums and I totally just walked by this one! I’ll have to make a point to check it out when I’m there later this year.

I miss the Hydrolators from Sea Base Alpha.
Just brought back memories reading that. Forgot about it. Epcot in the 80s was a magical place
@@cyndiluna1100 % agree! We were blessed / lucky to experience it.
@@125Coastline so 🍀 ❤️
Thanks!
You're welcome!
Cutest lil anxious fish 💛

Aquarium are so relaxing
Sacrilege! You need to ride the ride first, then go into the aquarium. I miss the sea floor hydrolators!
Yes... The hydrolaters were the best. Along with the preshow movie
Yes!
Yes, I’ve gone scuba diving there twice! So much fun! FYI, you don’t need a park ticket to dive the aquarium.
Manta Tees? Like manta ray T-shirts?

My husband and I got to scuba dive that aquarium many years ago. It was a great experience.

Over at Disneyland, I like writing the submarine
I did the dive adventure last spring and it was truly unique.
This is my absolute favorite attraction at Epcot! Love the sea and ocean.
I'm getting whiplash Disneyland Disneyworld Disneyland Disneyworld. Ow my neck!

Wow, I did not know that was there. What great value for your ticket at EPCOT, aquariums are expensive to pay entry. Love the free scavenger hunt 😊

Had no idea there was an aquarium!! Thanks! Heading there on the 28th!
Puff: "It's quiet...too quiet"
A little candlelight dinner 😅

sea urchins like to wear hats
One of my favorite exhibit‘s. I actually did “ Dolphins in Depth”in the tank ( behind the screen Tour) I didn’t believe they have dolphins anymore.
I would love to do the diving experience. I bet its worth it!
Thanks for your encouraging words. This rear has been awful. I love your videos and all the travels you do and show all of us. 😅😊
Thank you I never knew!❤

Be cool if thay had something like this in disneylands tomorrow land, But im still glad we still have submarine ride.
Whenever I see the manatees, they tell me to romaine calm and lettuce eat in peace.
Tunnel you can walk through? Isn’t that the Nemo ride path?
Spent lot of time there in July to get away from the heat and humidity. It’s surprising how big it is.
So.. who remembers the original theme?
🙋🏼♀️
I tried to explain to my friend what a manatee is… He said, “Man, a tea? Just give it to me straight!”
Idk when you filmed this but I hope you were able to meet up with Adam.
The manitee is a messy eater
I went to the aquarium but not the show
Are manatees friendly
