As a 5'4 filipino guy, I haven't dated anyone. But a lot of girls have actually confessed to having feelings for me. Not once has it been mentioned about there being a problem with my height, because I don't make it my most prominent feature. I'm short, and I can’t change that
But I can be funny, I can be smart, I can dress well, practice good hygiene. I can be a positive person that people want to be around. I can have a good personality with values. A couple inches of height isn't enough to bring me down. Being short means finding someone who likes me back that looks past just what they can see, and love who I am inside
Besides, if there’s someone who won’t even look at you twice or give you a chance because of your height, would you really want so shallow of a person?

im 19 and im 5’5, although my voice is not near as high as this guys 😂 some people say i have a deep voice. and me and my girl have been together for 2 years. she’s about 5’2 so there’s not much of a difference. i do get insecure about my height often but at the end of the day you just gotta make the most of what you got and be blessed to be here

dating as a short guy is def hard its just not as hard as people make it out to be in my opinion. for context I have a lot of the same features as rhino (light skin, curly hair, piercings, etc.) but I'm just 5' 3". i guess this means I may have more redeeming factors than another short guy may have. I've only had one serious relationship and we got far enough for me to believe it wasn't my height that ended it and i have no problem getting to other girls.
at the end of the day I think as rhino puts it, "maxing out all your stats" is the most important thing. making it so that anyone who looks at you will say "yea he's short but he also has this, this, and this". in the least cocky way possible I'm nice at soccer, people say im ripped, I got good music taste, im financially sound, and I dress well among other things. me personally i only look at a girl to lock in with if she's shorter than me but in terms of cracking potential, anything goes iykwim lmao.
Overall, being short is just like being dealt a different hand in a card game. if you're playing uno and everyone else is drawing +4 cards, being short is maybe like drawing a skip or a reverse, you don't necessarily lose or have to accept a disadvantage, you just gotta use what you have and play the game differently.
Perfectly said on that last part and maxing all your stats is the key for real. The better I got at the gym, the stronger my mind got from just discipline and learning, the more success I had with women.

I'm 5'7 and funnily enough the only girls i've dated are around my height/slightly taller. It definitely sucks being shorter because most girls will instantly cross you off the list based on that alone, but if they would stick around I'm sure we would probably have more in common than they think.

I’m a 5’4” white guy and I am fairly young, 17. So I haven’t had all the experience, however it hasn’t been easy. Less redeemably, a few years ago I was out of shape. Over the years I’ve attempted to start many relationships and failed miserably. Finally got into pretty good shape, and asked out this beautiful girl at my junior year homecoming. I got her number and we have been dating for over a year now. Thankfully, she see’s me as someone who can protect her (we are the same height) and so it doesn’t feel like she is babying me. It took a while, and a lot of rejection, but it isn’t impossible. Plus, when you do find a girl, it’s that much better as you know that they are into you for other reasons than just height, and aren’t as shallow as women who disregard because of height. Hold on to hope all the short guys!

Honestly I’m 30 and I’m 5’7 and I can say dating has become a lot more superficial than ever like people today are so hyper focused on height like it’s become such a big deal in the last few years I can honestly say when I was in high school back then I never felt self conscious about my height at least never felt like it was a problem can’t say that a girl ever made me feel bad about it in fact I always saw alot of guys my height or shorter getting some of the prettiest girls but this was 2010-2011 before we had social media pushing this 6ft 6figure clout chasing era like people really got to know each other and vibe dating felt genuine now I had a girl shorter than me telling me I’m short like wtf kinda backwards ass world is this and just being short is a joke like the fact we have the term short king idk I hate this time period we live in making people feel less then over something they have no control over

I'm 5'4: there's been times where I've had girls taller than me interested in me and have been rejected by girls shorter than me for being too short. I've deadass gotten 'you are so handsome but if only if you were taller' and another time went from being 'hot' to 'cute' after I mentioned my height. So from that I am aware that it hinders my chances in dating, but also at the same time it only really takes that one special someone as well and it won't ever matter again anymore. All in all, I totally agree with Rhino in saying that maxing out everything else you can such as hygiene, fashion, wealth, kindness etc can help. I think a key to it is becoming confident and not letting height be your defining factor. Sometimes just pure confidence can make a girl overlook your height.

I'm 5'3 and the older I get the better my dating experience has been. I've improved myself physically in aspects that I actually have control over (my hair, my skin, my physique) and of course mentally (my humor, intelligence, demeanor). Girls don't even make height an issue with me. I often meet them in the gym or in class where we already have common interests and passions which helps lead to something. I make good eye contact, I smile a lot, I have things to talk about, and I'm confident. It's true that girls will respect and notice you for focusing on yourself rather than chasing them.

In 5'3 and in high-school as well as first couple years in college I didn't have a problem dating wether it was a female taller or shorter than me but I did have to sway them with my words and hope that they wanted to get to know me becuas the females who simply didn't know me did pass me up due to my height, now as a 30 year old adult it's definitely much harder, but just like back in college if a female actually takes the time to get to know me I can definitely do much better than if she simply didn't wana tlk due to my height, overall now days I'm just focused on work and myself, when the female who I can build a life with comes into my life then the rest will be history but until then it's work, gym, and family that I'm content with.

My boyfriend is 5'5 and I'm about 5'7. He has been my best friend since childhood and we have been dating for almost 2 years now. I couldn't be happier and I feel completely fulfilled and in love with my relationship. I'd say he has a pretty deep voice and is hilarious and extremely attractive to me. I know it is quite common for girls to judge guys based off of height but there are also girls that do not think something as superficial as that matters! So to anyone out there worried about their height, the right person won't care about that and you will find that person eventually as long as you keep an open mind! Girls mostly just want someone who will give them love, passion, adventure, and comfort. :) (Ryan is right in a way though. If a girl is not into a guy they may blame it on something like height. I’m 5,7 as an 18 year old- all of my friends are 5,11-6,0+. They always tag on me for being the shortest in the group and when we took Prom pictures, you could literally place a line over my head and their would be a clear difference between me and the bros 😭. 1:42 i was 7 years old when i got diagnosed with medulloblastoma brain tumor. I had to get surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. That affected my balance, hearing and height. I starged to take growth hormone when i was around 10 i think and they took me off it almost a year ago since they thought I was done growing and wanted to see how I would react wothout it. I just took a test to prove I dont produce it and will probably get it back since i was having kind of like withdrawal symptoms and since growing is not the only benefit of the hormone. I turned 16 in October and am 5 feet 2 inches but sadly dont think i will grow anymore

I'm 20 gonna be 21 this year and I'm 5'1 never dated anyone i never really tried but i know im really short but i don't care i love myself I want to learn and grow as a person.
