Great cover of The Animals song. They played it live many decades ago and then stopped doing it. Allen Lanier, keyboards and guitar, sadly died of COPD from smoking for many decades.
Keyboardist is Allen Lanier, who passed awhile ago. You need to do Astronomy from this album. Also a cover of the MC5 Kick out the Jams is on this album.
Great band..big fan..saw them back in 1981 in Indiana..going to see them 9/28/24 in Laughlin, NV...wife got tickets for my birthday...can't wait to see Buck Dharma again..kick ass guitarist!
Written by the songwriting team of Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, and originally intended for the Righteous Brothers to sing. Thankfully, it ended up being the Animals. Crackin' version by BOC.
Have you done anything from *Mirrors* yet? Based on this reaction, I'd wager I'd like to see you react to GREAT SUN JESTER. Completely different, but just fantastic music.
I never knew BOC covered this song, and I've been listening to them since 1975! lol. When Eric is singing, he sounds so much like Eric Burdon, it's crazy!
If you want another live cover from this album there is also "Kick Out The Jams" by MC5. Once saw them do "Substitute" and "My Generation" by the Who and another time, "Jailbreak" by Thin Lizzy. The most amusing was "Be My Baby" by the Ronettes at the Old Waldorf in SF. Thanks for the video!
Man. Mannnnn, most this here live album you would dig. Catch the vibe. Song. ETI live here >? Trippin balls. Godzilla. Are you saving?/‘. Surprised u doing the cover songs, good but not as good as some you done heard

This is a great live album from one of their most successful sell out tours
So great in concert
Thank you again
Great Cover Art
And great cover of a classic
Give it up for Eric Bloom on lead vocals!

One of the best rock-metal band🤘
I didn't hear you say it so I thought I'd mention this is a cover of a song by The Animals.
yeah, i'd go listen to the original as well.

@@pauljensen9678 Wow. I didn't know that. Really can't imagine The Righteous Brothers singing this song.
I think this version is inspired much more by the Dave Clark 5 performance.

Great great live album.
BOC has a lot of rock, and a fair number of "weird" songs (Joan Crawford, Godzilla) but my absolute favorite is the balled "In Thee."
A friend of mine brought them into the nightclub we all used to hang out at. Back in the 80's of course.
Yes, see you in the next video.
GREAT COVER!!!!
Ain't nothin like the Real Thing!" Eric Burden &the Animals!"Fair copy,by BOC!
Epic performance !! The vocalist sounds just like Eric Burdon . I know it couldn't possibly be - can it??

I got the attribution. I was thinking MC5 did this , but you are way right
Great live album 🔥
Nice Eric Burdon cover.
Animals did original.
Great live album. Check out the live version of Astronomy, Don't Fear The Reaper, and Godzilla. Far superior to the studio versions.
That album you are listening to, On your feet or on your Knees is a great live album. Every song on it is fantastic!!
That's not On Your Feet Or On Your Knees it's Some Enchanted Evening.
@@stevemcnary7963 you are correct my friend. It was early this morning when I made the comment
