Every time one of these companies sends a vaugly threatening email, and if the driver can prove the allegations are false. The company should be required to pay a monetary penalty to the driver. That would put an end to uber and lyfts bullshit

I am a man of faith and I pray 5 times a day never had a sip of alcohol in my life yet I am no longer on the platform

Don’t complain brother. Take them to court and sue them for wrongful deactivation. We are not their employee. Get the paperwork started and send a process server to serve to them to make an appearance to court and watch how fast you’ll be reactivated.
Amen bro, just remember this industry and companies are influenced by the evil one, they don't do what is right, I am a fellow follower of Christ, and a long time vet uber driver. This has happened to me many times and thank God I was reactivated. Just remember God provides, we can't rely on these clowns in any job. I had a taco bell employee eat in my back seat leather seats, smeared food and spilled sticky all over. I took pics immediately after the ride and called and they gave me 20$. So they are out to take advantage and will never be just or moral. So God bless you I will be praying for something better for you, and please pray for safety doing this, as I have heard stories and had close calls with armed robbery. God bless
A temporary deactivation for an "investigation" into ANY passenger claims of driving under the influence ( among other things ) is typically statutory, spelled out in your state's laws regulating rideshare companies

Lyft has been giving me 1 ride per hour. I have a positive account been on the platform for 4 years full time for two 5star. I also rent and I’ve noticed how crappy I’ve been getting treated. My brother and sister get the same rides and we will right next to each other and we all get different prices. For the same ride my brother will get $10 sister gets $13 and I get $7.
I have to make $381 per week and these last few weeks have been so frustrating with Lyft. I haven’t been able to make money because they’re waiting until Thursdays and Fridays to make the money then slow it back up on Saturday and Sunday.
While this has happen well is happening g to me now. I DONT UNDERSTAND IT . I CAN NOT EVEN MAKE 300 WITHIN A 10 TO 12 HOUR DAILY SHIFT. THE MOST I MAKE DURING WEEK 225 ON WEEKENDS 270 IN 12 HOURS ITS CRAZY TO ME

Driving rental is probably why your offers are less. I was renting until recently got a car finally. I immediately noticed all my rides became $1, $2, $3 or even $4 more depending on time and distance. Rental they screw you.

if lyft tries to say "behave this way, dont say x, do say y", they are acting as an employer, they CANNOT demand any specific behavior from you.
An agreement is not real when it is entirely 1sided "agree or you cant do biz w us", its only real if you can contest, question, adjust, and strike terms you dont agree with.
Lyft did something shady to me that I caught them today. I sign off to get something to drink at 7"11 and my total payout was at $181 when I sign back into the Lyft app I heard that sound effect where you hear when someone leaves a tip, but this time my total went down to $174. I spoke to the rep and was told they would look into it, after a hour. I notice magically my tip for 8 bucks appear onto my last airport drop off ride they were going to take, If I didn't notice that lyft would of takin my tip money. This make me think, how much other tips they took without me knowing.
Uber trying to use our phones for video audio
This happened with me while I was doing Uber and a lady reported me as being drunk. Well I don’t drink nor smoke. Uber temporarily blocked me while they investigated. I was blocked for a day then got reinstated and I believe they gave me $100 and that rider was blocked from the platform
You’re lucky. I got deactivated. Psycho woman made false accusations against me. I knew she would. She was crazy and obviously scamming free food. Got nowhere with Uber. They wouldn’t even tell me what I was Accused of. Uber is a shit company. Fuck them. I hope they get sued out of existence.

Dashcam wont even help much for that because they wont tell you who it was or what they said against you! So its actually the biggest psychological terror saying to someone you did something wrong and you will be banned if you do it again but not telling yourself when exactly you did something wrong and what exactly you did wrong! Its actually crazy and IDK why its allowed something like that!
This just prove that Uber and Lyft dont give a crap about us the drivers, cuz when they say trip should be safe and comfortable for both parties if that was the case then WHY are we picking up in some unsafe areas and picking up unsafe riders...
Yeah, they just told me my driver score is way down because of my acceptance rate and my cancellation rate. They are trying to tell me I need to get back to platinum to get all the benefits. The only benefits that I care about is money!!! so I don’t accept rides that are below six dollars… I don’t accept rides to take me 20 minutes to go pick somebody up for six dollars…. And I convert!!!! 😂

I had it happen to me when I canceled a trip after the lady was taking too long at the second stop. She called and try and accused me of unprofessional behavior I tried to give me deactivated. I told Uber she trying to get a free ride and only accusing me because I cancel on her. I told Uber check the trip Uber sent me safety check message because I was standing too long. I also told them I have a dash cam and could provide footage of the whole trip. Uber believe me and advice rider any more false accusation she will be deactivated

I've had it happen to me. 5-star rating or 4.9 depending on the day. Once I get ahold of them and tell them I would never do that and I have proof from my dashcam, they immediately apologize and proceed to threaten me by saying if this happens again, you'll be permanently deactivated. I've actually told them before, who the hell are you to threaten me when I didn't do anything wrong. They full of 💩. When they make these accusations they just hope you'll rollover and do nothing. I'm not that type of person.
On Uber whenever I get this (about 1 on every 1000), I never have a damn clue what ride it could've been. All my rides are 5 star rides. The support reps have told me it's most likely a rider trying to get a free ride. But that's diamond level support
You can have a camera, But they don't tell you which ride the alleged incident took place so you don't know which video to search. You take dozens of fares per week.
But you file a small claims for thousands of Dollars in lost earnings so you very quickly find out which passenger, what time, what date. No brainer. Done it many times for drivers

They deactivated me, because of my background check. Well I didn't even give them consent to do the background check, they did it on their own. Also it was just an expired license plate ticket/ fine from 2 years ago.Plus it wasn't the car that I drove for lyft. But the approved my background 2 years ago, with the same ticket on the background check. No moving tickets and perfect driving record. All they say is account was flagged lol. A lawyer can get you the earrings lost for a false deactivation.
Lyft turned my app off for five days. It said alleged unsafe behavior. They never informed me of what I did. Then Monday morning, my app was turned back on. They never told me what I did.
On the Uber platform I was Reported for wrong map route and disturbing radio I know who did it but no one word was said ,I followed the map and the drop off location was on the end of where they were trying to actually go and reported me, as for my radio not once did they said to turn it down or off even though the music wasn't even loud enough since I had the windows down I can hear vehicles passing by and engines rather then the radio

I quit lyft a few months ago due to them not paying me mulitple times. I figure they owe me about $80, so enough is enough. I was deactivated for "being drunk", a while back. I had driven a woman and her child from the grocery store with their many bags to their ghetto apartment complex. Our conversation was cordial, nothing out of the ordinary .. suddenly I am deactivated. I called them immediately and told them they must pay for a sobriety test on me.. I was willing to go right then for it. I never drink, I dont like alcohol.. it just doesnt set right with me. This woman just wanted the free ride. I asked them how was it that she allowed me to drive her AND her child with their multiple bags of groceries all they way to their home? why didnt she stop me and get out if she was so concerned? I was reactivated within minutes! I think they are scared of a lawsuit when you stand up to them..

You can’t prove something didn’t happen with a dashcam. There’s never a date/time of the alleged offense, so you don’t know whether it was last night, last week or last month… we all agreed to comply with the terms of service when we signed up in the first place so there’s really nothing to see here… move along ;)
Incorrect. All footage is time stamped. Same goes for every photo or video you take. Research before you bark
@@AskTorsten yeah, I know dashcam footage is time stamped, but Uber/Lyft will not tell you when the alleged offence occurred, because they prioritize protecting the identity of the complainant…. A significant percentage of dashcams don’t have their clocks set correctly so the footage is useless as evidence. And if you don’t know what time the “incident” occurred you have to submit all the footage you have and trust them to find the right spot, look at it and come to the right decision… even then you still have the problem of proving a negative. Footage can often show conclusive proof of something that did happen, not something that didn’t.
Lyft did this to me on Sunday this is the 2nd time they did this to me the 1st one was I apparently under the influence which I prove them wrong got reactivated within 45 minutes of being deactivated. The second time which was on Sunday that I was potential. of terms and services. Which can be many things my comment back to them was I’ve been driving for a lift for 2.7 years. I have a 5.0 rating I never had any problems complaints nothing it’s there is no explanation given why they deactivated me or my account on hold. People are just looking for free rides. They did not want to pay extended waiting fee which I think that’s what it was, but who knows but you can download a audio recording device on your phone, which will record everything that is said in the car, but yes, definitely get a WebCam if you don’t have one
