This looks like an official mode, it's wild that it's actually fan-made.
All it needs is for the "ghost" to be actually fully invisible and for the guards to have some form of detector items - for maximum spook.

@@ketchup_lube Theres actually a grenade in CS called Tactical Awareness Grenade which sticks to a wall, bangs, and shows you the outline of all enemies in a certain radius through walls for about 3 seconds, its just that you can only get it using console commands or custom maps

strideR Agreed, that’s what I was hoping this was like when I started watching. If the hidden was remade (at this point in source 2) but with csgo mechanics and everything I would be in love.

strideR it’s been so long and I probably watched more UA-cam vids about it than actually playing lol. You mean the movement of the actual hidden? Yeah it’s able to jump around and stuff huh, not sure how that’d be done in cs but if they did it on source for the original, I’m sure it could be done again.
Imagine how much more fun it would've been if maps actually got decorated like this. I would want that!

A guy asked him on his stream if he had played this game yet like 3 days ago, this means once Brent ended the stream he immediately looked it up and assembled the squad to play a cs version of it.
Not to mention the fact he probably edited the video and published it in one day. Just to show you how dedicated he is
we recorded it a week ago, but I did edit it in one day to try and get it done for Halloween... I did not sleep last night.

Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because WarOwl was already dead.

Reminds me of an old CoD4 mod called obscurity where the ghosts have some special abilities (including possession and phasing through walls), but they can only knife and are visible when moving (as a shimmering silhouette). The CTs also get some improved abilities (use lasers, tracking by blood, reduced blindness from close proximity knife calls).
First time I've ever been this "on time" for a video, and I have to say: love the content, and the crimson theme made so much sense for the intro.
This actually reminds me of "The Hidden" mod on the CS:S, where one player was 100% invisible (with high gravity and melee/nades only) and everyone else was with guns.
Lots of fun but eventually everyone understood how to track hidden with radars. Hidden instead started to swerve midflight, making hitting them quite a problem.
Add in some health regen for hidden, and it gets pretty much fun!!1!.

You need to jump back on Pavlov VR and play "The Hidden" game mode. Its an old CS mode with one person invisible and 9 enemies to kill. Most fun in VR that I've had!
Used to love the old Hidden mod for CSS - much more fun when the living can’t see the hidden by using radar. Made it more exciting
Alternate Ghost Gamemode:
Ghost
- Can only wield a knife
- Footsteps are inaudible even when running
- Ghost doesn't show up on radar, but there's a special ability to make the ghost appear on radar regardless of position
Hunters:
- Same old mechanics
