Nice! But there’s got to be a way to do a software based cloud backup? For example setting overnight backup to a cloud to avoid impacting bandwidth. I have 30 cameras at 30 locations and 30 separate backup units would just not be feasible.
Hi Rob, thanks for your comment and big apologies for such a delayed response. The Videoloft Cloud Adapter is always needed to run our software onsite to get the video from the cameras/recorders. We used to run this code on the cameras themselves but it meant we were very limited in terms of compatibility and there just wasn't enough space on the camera firmware to run our features - hence the introduction of the Cloud Adapter. Once set up you'll be able to watch the Dubai shop videos from the USA via the Videoloft mobile app or web-viewer. Hope that helps answer your query.
