The Great Escape - Larry June.
Palisades, Ca. that shit just hits.
A bit of an older album, but, 'Very Peaceful" is a Larry June classic. A different rap vibe not like mainstream rap. Track 2 Orange pineapple set of a chill mood. Very easy and enjoyable, ambient album. Then I'll switch over to a Berzum record and mosh.
Awesome No Cure shirt! Big Ups on the Hirs Collective shout out, they are amazing and everyone involved in "We're Still Here" are awesome in their own groups! If you're getting into the Powerviolence / Grind stuff and you don't mind the Hip Hop influence on that record you should check out Soul Glo's whole discography! Bout to check out the Rotten Sound record so thanks for that!

I tried making the top 10 myself. Ended up with 50, then barely got it down to 30, and after that I couldn't justify throwing anything else out. There was way more black metal in the top 50, but I somehow ended up with mostly death metal. So, apart from the first two, the rest are ranked in no particular order.
1. Cattle Decapitation - Terrasite (Death Metal)
2. Sulphur Aeon - Seven Crowns and Seven Seals (Blackened Death Metal)
3. Fossilization - Leprous Daylight (Death/Doom Metal)
4. Left Cross - Upon Desecrated Altars (Death Metal)
5. Ascended Dead - Evenfall of the Apocalypse (Death Metal)
6. Blackbraid - Blackbraid II (Atmospheric Black Metal)
7. Majesties - Vast Reaches Unclaimed (Melodic Death Metal)
8. Dying Fetus - Make Them Beg for Death (Brutal Death Metal)
9. Cannibal Corpse - Chaos Horrific (Death Metal)
10. Suffocation - Hymns from the Apocrypha (Brutal/Technical Death Metal)
11. Silva - Forgotten Sanctuary (Melodic Black/Death Metal)
12. Vastum - Inward to Gethsemane (Death Metal)
13. Cryptopsy - As Gomorrah Burns (Brutal/Technical Death Metal)
14. Warcrab - The Howling Silence (Death/Sludge Metal)
15. Tomb Mold - The Enduring Spirit (Death Metal)
16. Ulthar - Anthronomicon/Helionomicon (Black/Death Metal)
17. Spirit Possession - Of the Sign... (Black Metal)

Awesome list! The Rotten Sound lp definitely is a rager. New Zenith Passage is fire, surprised that didn't make the cut considering you liked Soreption's Jord last year.
New Cryptopsy and Suffo were fantastic. Lots of amazing records and I've not devoted enough time to them.
I'm excited for that new Cognizance, Jan 12 mark the calendars folks. lol

Keep of kalessin is great. I saw them open up for behemoth and dimmu borgir.
An interesting top 10 list, I know half of the albums, I will definitely listen to the others.
greetings from germany.
Id like to know that song you have playing in the background. I love the head space it puts you in.
Great list, I downloaded 7 of these
Voivod-Morgöth Tales.
Death Dealer Union-Initiation.
That weekly playlist is a godsend.

Have you checked out the latest release from Mystic Prophecy? It's got a few killer tracks on it.
Where you at?
Album of the year belongs to Dying Fetus!! Fight me!!
My album of the year has to be Don't Test The Pest by Pest Control
Rannoch is one of my favourites too. I listen to that album at least 3 times a week.

It’s nice not seeing Sleep Token.
