so I was planning on putting either 2 v2's in my 05 lexus es330 or 1 v3, any recommendations? do you think 1 v3 in a custom ported box with a 1000w SA amp would be enough? or go with the 2 v2's with a 1000w SA amp. My es330 only has a fold down center console in the back from the trunk.
I would think either would be great.. I've got 1 v2 d2 In a trail blazer. Ct sounds t1500.1d wired to 1 ohm.

What reliable, but inexpensive amp would you recommend running with the V3 or rather a set of them? I am doing a full rebuild of my 2011 Silverado extended cab and the stereo system is where my budget is crunched the most. Lol. Still not sure what speaker to run in the doors either.
Taramp 3k, cheaper amp but good quality, had 2 15s on one so you should be fine

sundown made the v3 better, the company is always improving products why would the v2 perform as good as the v3? i'm sure they tested the v3 to out perform the v2, the extra power capability for the v3 is the clear decider of the better sub.

Ralph W. Thornton my sa-8 v2 walked all over my dads 8w7 in ported boxes made for the subs. The x8 v3 is built even beefier so i bet it’s not even close.
I dont know, but we own a 8w7 and even after 5 years it still sounds the same.
So it's kinda hard to beat that. There 8w7 sounds like 2 10" or 1 12".
Not to mention the 13w7, bc that is a tru beast, own 1 of them also, and it still hits hard after its 5 years also
Shid I got 2 ZV12’s and they hit so hard broke my sunroof!! All the flexing got the best of it lol!! Sundowns are expensive but if you can afford them hey you want be disappointed I promise you!! If you trying to bang on a budget look at Scar Audio Sundown make those as well..

I've got both skar vxf 15's and zv5 15's and the Skars are way more speaker for the money. Either way you'll be happy.
I would go with a sundown U12 in a sealed box for around 140 db of tight punchy bass.

Well I would take the x8 v3 any day of the week compared to the b2 xm 8. The motor size legit looks ATLEAST twice as big. just my opinion tho

Skar audio 2500 hundred series should be way more than enough or maybe the 1500 should be more fit for them.
