Your ink blending is spectacular! Just amazing, it makes everything so beautiful. Love all the cards so much, they are so bright and colorful, and I love anything sea-themed. BTW, I just sent you a couple embossing powders, your almost empty containers are making me anxious!
Love how you used the older wave background with the mermaid tails, is fun seeing older stamps being used with new sets
Good morning Simon 😁 I'm a junk journaler and virtually never watch card making vids cuz, quite frankly it's not my cup o'tea and the last thing I need is ONE MORE papercraft on my desk. But it's 4:30 in the morning and I can't sleep, so I was looking around YT and I stopped here on your vid, and as I watched I just KNEW I needed to forward it to my BFF, the card making expert in our circle. But then I watched s'more and thought, "Hey, wait! What?" and backed up and rewatched this section and then that section. Long story short (although I think that ship has already sailed) I learned lots from you this early morning, and while I will still forward your vid to my friend I'm also gonna save it for myself to refer back to.
I'm not done watching yet, but so far my favorite technique is embossing, dampening the area I want to color with water, THEN going back with water color.
Thanks for the info - I'll surely use your new-to-me techniques. I'm gonna watch the rest of the vid then hopefully go back to sleep, so I bid you goodnight... or good morning.

My favorite was the one with the pirate ship - the background was amazing!!

This video covered so many techniques it could easily have been multiple videos. I loved the demo of the different effects you could get with the peel apart scale stamp and dual inking techniques. Then the multiple stenciling of the mermaid tail and addition of the lunar paste gave an outstanding result that could have been another video. Finally, the peel apart waves with the resist and detailed coloring was one more inspiring method that would stand on its own.
I like two - the mermaid tails on the wonky background & coming out of the waves. Can hardly wait to get my order which includes that stencil! (BTW, the Lunar Paste on the tail fin is genius.)

I really enjoyed the cards with the embossed waves in the background. I have the Clear Skies Ink pad (and fabulous Lunar Paste) but now I need/want the other blue ink pads you have. Amazing! (So are those small ink blending brushes from Altenew!)

The ink blending though 🤯 Absolutely loved that dip technique at the end! Favorite card was the one with the mermaid tails sticking out of the waves you popped up. Such a easy way to create dimension on the card. Thanks for all the ideas! 🙏🏼
I like the 3rd card: the two mertails in the waves. thanks for sharing. I can use your techniques and ideas with other cards as well. I think you need to refill your white embossing powder. ;) hehehehe
