I really liked the video, especially the part about the 444 backhoe, my favorite backhoe, I really like the Caterpillar brand. I subscribe to your channel. I am a stonemason and I also rebuild very old stone walls, greetings from Barcelona.
Machine looks exactly like JCB 4xc. Only thing i don't understand why is the hydro hoses managment soo porly made for the cylinders on the front "pliers" feature. JCB has it set with steel pipes around the edges, very clean.
You can see that you haven't worked on this machine. I have this CAT 444 model and what I miss the most are additional forks on the multi-purpose bucket? There is a separate carriage with forks - show me how to transport the bucket and forks together to the construction site (separate forks are large and very heavy) and there is no safe way to transport it. There are more shortcomings but that's for another episode - the competition has already caught up with CAT
Yes, as I mentioned, I have not worked with this type of quick coupling system. But I have seen forks taken in the gills of a bucket. But this is not a safe way to move them. If it could be done, then I would weld a loop to the bucket, so that when taking the forks into the bucket, they could be attached with a chain or truck sling.

This should be asked of the engineers. That's their job 😃

You didn't try "crab walk" sideways driving?
I would like to try everything. But there was little time, plus it was still raining and I still wanted to look at other techniques
