This is my favorite crochet design! Love it. I am having difficulty with doing the last row… how to do the half double crochet to end like the beginning.
Thank you! 🥰 You just have to do one HDC on top of every stitch or exact same amount of HDC stitches in the gaps as many chains there are - total amount has to be the same as the first row.
Aww thanks! I will try at some point to also make one for that top. ❤ But essentially it's my "sunflower granny squares" in different colors attached together + straps :)
Both of these lace tops are so beautiful! I'd love to try making them both 🥰 Which one do you think it's the easiest to start with? Which one is quicker? 😅
Thank you! 🥰 I think this one is quicker since it's lacier, but I believe the other one is easier as first top to learn basics around the flower lace, so it's up to you! 😅
FYI the hardest part for me is when to start the repeat for each flower even tho I know each flower is 25 stitches so I’m thinking if I can figure that out this one would probably be easier.
Thank you so much for the tutorial. I learn so much from you. One request, can you please give us the tutorial of the top you have on in this tutorial?😀😀💕
yay! 🎉 Sure! I will try to prepare it some time soon in the future, once I get time 🤗 I'm actually using my sunflower granny square pattern for it, but in different colours. Then you just have to make a bunch of square, connect them and add straps and extra rounds for borders - super rough guide, but hopefully helps a bit! 😅
This is so cute! Thank you so much for the video :) If I wanted to create a more fitted version, would going down a hook size or two be the way to go? Thanks so much
love this and i think its actually easier to follow then the first one. Can you consider writing a pattern for this one as I would pay for it. Thank you.
Please let me know if you make a written pattern. I have tried both of your flower sweaters and am doing something wrong. I have a hard time without a written pattern. Thank you @@KristinesDay
I’m sorry to say I’m giving up on this gorgeous top because it hasn’t been easy to follow on UA-cam. It’s not the pattern, although it would be help to have it written.
This is so pretty and I just ordered some brown yarn to make this ! Is there a way I can make this into an open cardigan instead ? I just worry about the neckline because yours is high up and I wonder how it would be with a cardigan . Thank you so much!
@@KristinesDay what i meant to say with decrease was, if theres a way to like curve for the neckline with this flower "stitch" I am sorry I don't know how to explain it properly 😭😭
@@faith7518 ahh got it! It you want to decrease the length of specific parts such as neck line, instead of doing intended stitches you can do slip stitches or SC during that part or finish the row earlier where you would like the neck line to be, the continue the row further down by attaching yarn again.
I’m using one from Søstrene Grene - organic cotton 8/4 Similar to this, but different color: sostrenegrene.com/de/produkte/kreativitaet/fils-et-travaux-daiguille/baumwollgarn/garn-84-p-xed39c31
love design! I've been working on the body top these days and struggling with the amount of chains for the base. How many chains you got for your base top? :)
I've done my sleeves 2 flowers wide, 52 stitches but they're not comfy at the top, but wider would be massive at the cuffs. Any suggestions how to resolve?
It's not that massive at the cuffs, but that's the look for this top basically. Otherwise you can try to decrease on one side while doing stitches on the other side :)

Could you make a tutorial for the top you are wearing on this video, it’s so beautiful! And thank you for all your tutorials ❤

Yeah, that’s a good idea! When you make chains in the beginning, try measuring if it’s more fitted 🤗
Love your tops you make

Yes, of course - you basically would have to split the front panel in half and then add some straps or buttons ☺️
@@KristinesDay thank you so much for replying!! I’m going to try that 🙂
Hello, great video! But I was just wondering if theres a way to decrease with this stitch? if so please let me know as I am quite struggling 😅😅

Thank you! 🥰 It's 102 + 2 chains for size S-M. :)
Can i use the hook size 3.25mm plz rply
Sure! As long as panels are in the size that will fit you 🤗
@@KristinesDay thank for your reply but I already made this before ur rply 😊😊😊🥰🥰🤗
I started working on it today it looks amazing thank you for this tutorial ❤
Q: Should we add half double crochet at the last row as the first row?
Thank you! 🥰
Yes, at the end add another row of just HDC, so it is easier to connect panels and looks smoother :)
❤
Row 2: it ends up with 4 double crouchet not 3 just as i start, i have a confusion.
You have probably added one too many stitches in the very beginning 🤔
