  • 💻The U.S. government is considering breaking up Google, as a part of the historic antitrust case against the search giant. Forcing a company to split into smaller parts is a rare move for the government and it could change the way Americans use the internet.
    📃More than a dozen states are suing TikTok, alleging the app uses addictive features on young people and has contributed to a mental health crisis among teens. The lawsuits filed this week add to TikTok’s legal woes, as it stares down the deadline to find a new buyer or be banned in the U.S.
    🏆A pioneer of artificial intelligence, often referred to as the ‘Godfather of AI,’ is one of the winners of the Nobel Prize for Physics. Geoffrey Hinton’s research helped form the building blocks of AI as we know it, but the ‘Godfather’ himself has recently warned against the dangers of AI development.

      They are being sued because it's a Chinese run company and they are collecting data on all users.
