Hey everyone, here is the link to the dedicated video discussing the sunglasses I talked about in this video. Thanks so much for watching! ua-cam.com/video/Hfvaw8Z24L0/v-deo.html
Hey everyone! Thank you for watching this video. Here is the link to the dedicated video about the sunglasses I am wearing in this video. I think he would love them, they offer great coverage! Here is the link, Arnette Heist 2.0 Polarized Sunglasses | Sunglasses for Blind or Visually Impaired
Hey Matt, great topic. I only wear sunglasses while traveling due to getting stuck in the Ai with tree branches etc. you have some very valid points but one thing I would like to suggest. I understand some people are self-conscious about the sighted people judging their eyes. Being totally blind though, I have practiced making eye contact with anyone I’m talking with. They seem to pay attention more if they think you’re watching them. It helps with situational awareness and keeps those predator jerks at bay. Although if you can keep from snoring, wearing sunglasses in boring meetings can help disguise you napping. 😆👍🏻 make it an outstanding day!
Hi! I hope you’re having a great Monday! I agree, sunglasses are great for light sensitivity as well as using them as safety glasses like you mentioned tree branches, and also for making direct eye contact. LOL. But yes just like you mentioned, in many situations I do attempt to make iContact, just sometimes it is a little bit tough if the person is standing close because I don’t have the benefit of distance between me and the other person. But I completely agree with you, people will take us much more seriously if we even attempt to make eye contact with them when having a conversation. Thanks for watching this video and for the great comment! Have a nice day and see you again Thursday. Matt
Hey Matt, Great content as always. I personally almost never wear sunglasses and when I do it's either Raybands or Oakley's and that's to be cool, not for light sensitivity although like you, I have minimal light perception in my right eye and nothing in my left but I find sunglasses uncomfortable as a rule. So when I'm with my daughter who's 21 now, I'll pull out the expensive shades to be cool with her. Lol Secondly, I received the gift box that I won from your channel from Two Blind Brothers and inside the box was an awesome and very comfortable pair of socks and a scented candle. Thanks much for the give-away and shout out to Two Blind Brothers for their mission to cure blindness. See you on the flip side. Cheers!
Hey Chad! It is so fun that you pull out sunglasses to be cool with your daughter when you’re hanging out with her, I love that! That is what the dad is supposed to do :-) LOL. Your daughter seems pretty cool, you were lucky! There’s nothing wrong with not wearing sunglasses at all, I simply do it just because of light sensitivity. Thanks for letting me know what you found in the two blind brothers box, that is so awesome! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday! Say hi to your wife and daughter for us :-) Matt
Thank you for the video, I think it clarifies the reasons for sunglasses to the public. Many times people haven’t been around many visually impaired people so they don’t understand and they don’t want to seem rude by asking too many questions.
Hi! It is great to hear from you again. Thank you for the feedback, I agree with you, hopefully this video answers some questions because many people like you said, I don’t want to be rude by asking a bunch of questions. Thank you so much, I’m glad that this answered and cleared the air. Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend, thanks so much for being here :-) Matt
Hi! Thank you so much for watching this video and for the very nice comment. You are welcome, I just want to continue making content that is valuable and hopefully answers some of the common questions for all of us in this community. It is my commitment to everybody here that I will continue producing valuable content as much as I possibly can and always offering my support to anyone. Thanks so much for being here, your support means a lot to me! Matth
Hey Thomas! It’s so great to hear from you, I was actually just thinking of you yesterday. I’m not sure where I heard it, I think it was on TV, but someone talked about Windsor Canada, it made me think of you! I hope all is well, thanks for watching us :-) Matt
Thomas Dubé good morning Thomas, everything is good here. Thank you! Just very busy as usual. I hope all is well with you! I know you’ve been crazy busy with work, that is great but hopefully you are still able to do what you enjoy with your personal life and time! Matt
@@BlindtoBillionaire I do still do the things I like doing lol. I just go to sleep later lol. I really need to plan better to watch more your videos. See you in the next one
Hey Thomas, no worries at all, I recognize that you were very busy. Glad that you were still doing things that you enjoy, but may be a little less sleep than you probably want. LOL. Have a nice night
Hi my lovely Tony! We are the same, wearing dark glasses to protect your eyes from the bright lights. You just need to wear some sunglasses that are dark because you are a celebrity, with all the people following you around taking pictures :-) LOL :-) thank you, have a wonderful weekend, XXXX Matt
Thank you, the sun was nice, the wind was a little chilly but the sun was still very nice. Actually, I am sitting in the sun right now as I write this message. I will head outside and sit on the deck when the sun comes around in about an hour. I’m excited :-) enjoy your video production and tea party :-)
Very nice video Matt. For many people sunglasses are just a fashion item, but for a lot of us is an important article to protect our eyes. It is essential to search for the right lenses that can block ultraviolet rays. Thanks Matt for the video. Hope you have great weekend..
That is so true, sunglasses are pretty much a fashion statement for the majority of people, but for all of us in this community it is so important to choose the right sunglass as well as the appropriate lenses. Similar to what we both have from to Blind brothers, those are great! Thank you, I also hope you have a wonderful weekend and enjoy some nice warm weather! See you on Monday.
Great video as always Matt. The one extra reason that I have for wearing sunglasses as I do not have a lens in my right eye so I feel self-conscious that I need to protect it from win the elements that might get into my eye because I don’t have the extra protection of having a lens. But you’re right on on all the other aspects I have those two so thanks again
Good morning! Thank you, I’m glad that I get on many of the common reasons and points white people in this community wear sunglasses. Oh yes, I would highly recommend wearing sunglasses for you and basically everybody. Even people who are not visually impaired, it is so important to protect the eyes from the damaging ultraviolet rays from the sun and fluorescent lights. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday :-) Matt
Thank you for explaining all that you did. I am not one to approach anyone and question things that they do, but you are very kind to explain. Surely your discussion helped so many people! You guys are great. Covered everything! Thank you.
Thank you, I appreciate it! I actually did this video by myself, Corey is at her parents house this weekend and I’m at my parents house. LOL. The editing is not the greatest, but either way it’s good :-) thanks for checking it out and for the feedback. Matt
Jannell Meagher Thank you, you are always so nice. I hope you are having a lovely weekend. It is about 40° here, but windy. The wind is cold. Tomorrow is supposed to be 46°, that will be absolute heaven! I plan on sitting outside in the sun all day. LOL, I wish I could be down there in Florida, beach day with one of my favorite UA-cam friends!
@@BlindtoBillionaire Been very windy and about 64 for a high. 70 is as low as I wanna go. I know. I am a big baby. Swamped with puppy training, Instagram account, meetings, family time and working out. Trying to stay balanced. Don't know how you do it all, but it is great you both do it together!
Jannell Meagher oh wow, that does seem pretty chilly considering you have been in the 80s lately. Hopefully you were able to have a little reprieve in your schedule, you sound very busy. Enjoy the day
You were so spot-on with the point about being uncomfortable or self conscious about where our eyes may be looking. When I'm at a function with family, or any type of social function, I really don't know where to look. I guess, because of that, I just kind of look down a lot. It can be a very uncomfortable awkward feeling at times. It's also really bad when I'm in a restaurant. I'm afraid I'm going to be staring right at people. It's for those reasons that I've considered wearing dark glasses. You, on the other hand, wear them because they make you look like a badass. Just kidding,. A little blind humor there lol! Great points, and great video my friend!!
Hey Steve, that is so true! Especially in a social gathering or at dinner, that is the worst! When sitting at a table at a restaurant, I never know where to look, I always feel like I’m going to be staring at someone just like you said, so I often just stare down at the table. Everyone probably thinks I am severely depressed or something. LOL, not laughing or making fun of that, but I literally don’t know what to do. If those are some great points, I should’ve matured. LOL, it just so it sounds and makes things so much easier just to throw some glasses on the we never need to worry, but then we do seem and look like a bad ass! Hope you’re having a great weekend, I always get a good laugh from your messages, thanks for being such an awesome friend! MATT
Hi Matt. I have light perception but I don’t wear sunglasses, because I’m not light-sensitive. I know some blind people do, but I didn’t know it was that common. I have had sighted people come up to me and ask why I don’t wear sunglasses. I guess the best answer to that is I don’t wear them because I don’t feel like I need them.
Hey Tiffany, that is an interesting point. Not only do people sometimes ask why the blind and visually impaired wear sunglasses, at the same time I guess I could’ve given some examples of reasons why we do not wear sunglasses. It is nice that you are not sensitive to light, I would say it is unpleasant so I’m glad that you don’t suffer from that. I think it’s a great explanation, you can just simply say that you do not need them. Thanks so much Tiffany, I hope you’re having a great weekend. Matt
Excellent video mate some people are just ignorant I wear my glasses so the wind and things don’t blow into my eyes as it irritates them and makes them water loads it’s also good in general from blue lights from screens that can affect the liver through the eyes enjoy the rest of your weekend mate
That is so true, that is also a great point, the wind blowing in the eyes and making them water. I feel like there are so many people out there who are ignorant or just clueless. Thank you for the nice words, you also have a great weekend! Matt
Very amazing video well done and keep up the great work mate and I am light SENSITIVE and I have normal looking eyes and that's why I wear mirrored sunglasses because there is a lot of small minded people who dont understand that people have different eyes
Hey Richard, that is great that you wear sunglasses. It is very true, so many people do not recognize why the blind and visually impaired wears sunglasses. I’m glad that you protect your eyes, that is very important.
Hi Nicole! Thank you so much for checking out this video, I appreciate the feedback and glad to hear you found this video to be helpful! Thank you so much for watching :-) have a great week and see you Thursday. Matt
Interesting that you chose this topic this time considering I was in the er the other day and all the staff there thought i was just there for drugs becuse my glasses are dark blue i had to show them my card explaining my light sensitivity.
Hey my friend, it is so great to hear from you again, it has been a while! I hope all is well. That is really unfortunate you had to show your proof of light sensitivity. It is unfortunate that people do not believe us and require us to show proof. I hope all is well with you, I just recognize that we would never miss treat you in anyway and we think you are a great person. I’m always here for you if you ever need to reach out and discuss anything. Thanks so much for watching this. Matt
Thank you so much for this I have been finding the need for sunglasses for many a reason in the last couple of years and now simply because it is a lot of work trying to see not being able to see trying to aim my eye contact it is not good for the body the ways in which the work I was putting on My brain and my body And now need to adjust to wearing sunglasses but even in just a short period of time I've explained this I am feeling great relief from the pressure that I was putting on myself and my body with my eyeballs
Hey Matt I am a long-time follower and I don’t comment much. But I think this is a great video on why a lot of blind people like us choose to wear sunglasses. I don’t a lot of the time but sometimes I do choose to wear sunglasses. One reason I choose to wear sunglasses is due to severe and painful allergies. If things like pollen or dirt or dust to get into my eyes I can sometimes be in pain for weeks at a time especially during the Spring and summer months when there’s a lot of pollen going on in the air. But I think I’m going to start wearing sunglasses a lot more due to scary incident where my eye swollen up recently due to a chemical reaction of some sort or something got in Mayeye and I’m not too sure what it was.
Hi Emily! Thank you so much for watching this video and for reaching out to me, it is so great to hear from you! Thank you for your continued and loyal support, it truly means so much to me! Those are some great reasons as well for why are you wearing sunglasses is very important. I can’t even imagine having severe allergies like that, I think you would be so important to wear some type of a coverage to avoid allergic reaction‘s. I feel like sunglasses are important in so many ways. Thanks once again for the comment in for watching this video, it’s so great to connect with you! I hope your weekend is going well :-) MATT
hi Matt, this is really a comprehensive list of reasons why we wear and use sunglasses on a regular basis. Let me add a bit of history that I learned in a seminar once. Years ago, when it was taboo for people with disabling conditions, to be seen in public, blind people felt the necessity to cover their eyes because their eyes didn’t work. It was also taboo to be seen in a wheelchair or to use braces or crutches or other devices which were distracting to the public. Thank goodness those days are long gone but blind people were expected to wear sunglasses so that they did not offend others while in public. There are also people that wear themBecause their eyes are atrophied and are smaller than their eye sockets. A friend of mine told me that he always, always wore sunglassesBecause his temples were in dented due to his eyes being atrophied and the arm of the sunglasses filled in that in dented space at his temples. HeAlso wanted people to focus on his personality and his conversation and did not want them staring at his eyes.. I think his strategy worked because he was very outgoing and became the director of blind services in my state. I really enjoy sharing these stories and these connections that you create on your channel with the simple topic like, why blind people wear sunglasses. Great job once again Matt! Love, Beverly
Hey Beverly! Of course I am not surprised, this is another amazing comment from you. I love the strategy of the guy who wears the sunglasses because he wants people to focus on his personality and who he is as a person versus his visual impairment or his eyes. I could not agree with that more. I think that is so important, that is something I have also emphasized for many years in my life, I just want people to give me a chance and get to know me as a person versus judging or passing me by simply because of my visual impairment. I hope you had a wonderful weekend out of town and that all is well and that you stayed warm and safe :-) thanks for watching this video as always! Have a wonderful evening and see you tomorrow. Matt
Bama Blind another reason to hate to say if people and why they have power I don’t mean to be offensive my friend but to be honest even in history with blind people on site people sighted people have had the most power but I’m glad were in the time that we can change that
Blind to Billionaire that’s not true because I can comment and talk with you on discussions they’re not related to blindness and I’m pretty sure that you and me can hit it off my friend so never think that you’re judged by myself
Jordan mahony The blind worl there should be more people like you Jordan, who are able to connect and communicate with others, with no judgment about any disability or differences.
It's currently 3 am and I've been watching all ur videos for like 5 hours straght haha, I'm 18 and have been leagaly blind my whole life, but just recently my eyesight has been worsening, ur videos are great to listen to, and reassuring and informative and in a way give me comfort knowing when my vision is completely gone, I'll still be ok, so thank you so much for that

Hey Judy, you are very welcome! Thank you for the video suggestion. I called and had a great conversation with Matt the other day, he is a nice guy and full of information. Thanks again for the recommendation :-) Matt
Hey Kido! I should be wearing sunglasses more than I do but I feel like people would ask me more about why I’m wearing them because I never did. But I need to protect what little vision I have left.
Hey mom, yes you should probably wear your sunglasses to protect the remaining vision that you still have. It is very important, you heard it from me, your son!
LOL, I will do that. I love how Corey always gets the hogs and credit for everything. You wouldn’t believe how many people comment thanking Corey and telling me to give hugs to her for them. I always tell Corey she should just take over this channel
I mostly wear my shades outside from protection from things I can't see that are right in my face. At some point I learned the hard way, that maybe I should wear them inside as well, when vacuuming, or anything where I'm basically bending over tending to anything on the floor or under another piece of furniture. I got hurt with an aluminum foil box end, sticking out of one of the lower pantry shelves just getting the Dirt Devil tool kit out from the floor level stuff. Then there's the time I got my hair rolled up into the pinch roller of the Dirt Devil and clocked myself upside the head, simultaneously as I was thinking, "Oh, blank blank blank blank!" and sliding the power button off. I then had to search for the belt removal tool while holding the vacuum cleaner to the side of my head, to keep it from yanking out the whole temporal section of my hair. I was so embarrassed and it's not like anyone else saw me do that, but it did hurt and nearly knocked me out. Sometimes I just can't stand how my shades are pinching behind my ears on the first round of hiking out for the day's errands and just have to take them off and try not to feel self conscious but am a little.
Hi, I completely agree with you. Not only our sunglasses very important to protect our eyes from the bright damaging sunlight, they are also very important as safety glasses. Just like you mentioned, from all the obstacles and getting hit in the face, it is important to protect our eyes. Especially when bending over, that is the worst! I’ve had that happen a few times and it is terrible. Wait, did I hear you say you got your hair sucked up in the vacuum? LOL, I’m not laughing at you but that is actually kind of funny. I hope you’re having a great weekend :-) Matt
Audrey Sims I don’t think anyone can comprehend this type of incident, hair tangling in the vacuum cleaner but I can so relate. There are so many freakish, blind accidents or incidents that nobody would even comprehend unless you are visually impaired or blind and similar things have happened. Thanks for sharing Audrey.
Hi! It actually was cold that day, believe it or not, I do not wear jackets. You can find me on the coldest day in Minnesota in the winter when it is 20 below zero air temperature or 50 below zero with windchill and I’ll still be wearing a sweatshirt. That’s all I wear. LOL. We definitely know what cold weather is like here, we live in it for about seven months out of the year. Thanks for watching this video! Matt
Hi, I actually bought them on Amazon, I actually pinned a comment on this video to the new video I made about a month ago discussing these glasses and exactly where you can get them. If you’d like you can check that out! ua-cam.com/video/Hfvaw8Z24L0/v-deo.html I hope this helps :-) thanks so much for watching this video! Matt
I wear sunglasses outside also, dark for bright days, light brown sort of an amber colour lens for dull days. Just can’t take the brightness. Also wear a baseball cap, outside and in malls, stores etc as I can’t stand the glare from the overhead lights which seen to be really harsh anymore with all these place changing to the energy efficient lights it helps to see a little better becayse the peak shades my eyes.
That is actually a great point, wearing sunglasses, but at the same time wearing a hat with a bill is also very important to help shade your eyes from the light. Bright lights can be so damaging for our eyes. Great comment! Thanks for watching this, I hope your weekend
I’m going to have to catch up on your videos but how are you and Corey what’s the news with you guys it feels like it’s been ages since I’ve heard from you
Hi! It is so great to hear from you. It is interesting that you wear sunglasses for the reasons that I outlined in this video. Thank you so much for that feedback! It is always nice to wear sunglasses when communicating with people then we don’t need to worry about making perfect iContact all the time, or like in your situation when you prefer to use your peripheral vision. Awesome comment, thank you so much for watching this video :-) Matt
I have special dark glasses, FL41 @97% light blocking. I also use shade 12 welding sunglasses owing to intense photophobia to protect my eyes from light. I switch depending on lighting.
Hi! It’s so great to hear from you again, I hope all is well. It is nice to hear that you have a dark glasses and that you change them dependent on lighting. It is nice that you are conscious of bright lights and sensitivity to your eyes. Thanks so much for watching this video.
Hi Matt, you don’t need sunglasses to hide your eyes because your eyes look just fine. I understand you need those with light. My eyes hurt lately so much I put off my phone and iPad light and our curtains closed all day. Maybe you are uncomfortable in social gatherings that you don’t know where you exactly looking at and stuff. But I think that shouldn’t be a problem because people need to understand that you really can’t help it. So just be yourself and don’t change because of people who are stupid enough to not understand. That would be really their loss. Love sabrina
Hi Sabrina! I always love your comments as you are always so honest and you don’t have any patience for stupid people, I love it! Yes, you were absolutely correct, I am self-conscious in social gatherings because I do not know where to look to make iContact or I don’t want to be staring at someone if I am just looking off somewhere. Thanks for the very nice words as always, your comments always make me laugh! You’re such a great friend, love Matt
Blind to Billionaire yeah matt, stupid people would feel very uncomfortable in my company. Stupid question means stupid answer, stupid action - means stupid reaction. People stand right in the mirror when I’m there. And no they mostly don’t like it but that’s not mine problem. They can take it or leave it so 😂😂😂😂 I am just being Sabrina in those situations. Love sabrina
Your eyes look fine. I've watched the stimulus videos you've done for several months. I had no idea you were blind until I saw an older video of yours come up on my feed. It was the one where you were cleaning house and you happen to mention it.
Hi! It is awesome to hear that you also on the same sunglasses! I love them, I actually have two pairs of them and will continue to buy them because they offer such great coverage, the darkness of the lenses is great, they are polarized, and I really like what they do for me. Thanks so much for watching this video and for the great comment, I appreciate it :-) Matt
the reason I wear sunglasses is complicated...basically I can see just enough to confuse me. I am in a constant state of "what am I looking at". This drives me crazy and kind of freaks me out. The shades I wear are extremely dark, basically eliminating my residual sight, thus making me much more comfortable with my surroundings...I know it sounds nuts, but I am far better in the dark than I am trying to contently guess at what I'm seeing
Hi, thank you so much for watching this video. It is great to hear from you again! I hope all is well. Actually, it may seem weird to you for the reasons you wear your glasses, but it actually makes perfect sense. If you are always thinking that you’re seeing something, and your mind is playing games on you, it is probably best to just black out in the residual vision you have it so there’s no questioning and you can rely on your knowledge and skills rather than what you think you potentially see you. I actually think this is a very valid and reasonable reason why you wear dark sunglasses. Thank you so much for watching this, I enjoyed hearing from you. MATT
You know I've had somebody asked me this before my smart alec come back with so I could do my best impression of Stevie Wonder and I just bought my head LOL but seriously several of the reasons you named are the reasons why I like to wear them too.
LOL, your best impression of Stevie wonder? That is pretty funny :-) it is interesting when people ask why the blind and visually impaired wear sunglasses all the time, hopefully this clarifies :-) hope you’re doing well, it’s so great to hear from you! Have a great day and see you soon. Matt
🎶 I wear my sunglasses at night...🎶 I’m also light sensitive. My eyes look a little jacked up too, but the light sensitivity causes me to wear very dark wraparound glasses to cut out the brightness. I also like the mysterious stranger look I can rock while out and about. 🤣😈😎
Good morning! I can’t even imagine how cool you look wearing your sunglasses all the time, even at night! Walking around with your cane, being independent and confident, looking like a celebrity! Looks awesome :-) there’s definitely nothing wrong with wearing glasses, I often wear them quite a bit too, especially when I’m out at sunlight. :-) Have a wonderful Sunday, see you tomorrow
Blind to Billionaire Considering I shaved my hair into a two color dreadlocked Mohawk, my sunglasses (and my cane) seem even cooler. One time I nearly lost my sunglasses, and I cried like a baby. The lights on the buses out here in Seattle are pretty intense, so having shades with photosensitivity is pretty much mandatory...or suffer the consequences.
LOL, yeah you definitely do seem pretty cool! One nice thing about our eyes is that all we need to do is just close them if it is bright then we can just rely on our cane skills to continue navigating. I guess worst case scenario if you lose your sunglasses, I realize it is not the same but you could just close your eyes. LOL. But really, no need to cry about it ;-)
Hi! Thank you, I’m really glad that you enjoyed this video. I actually made a blind guy preparing a gourmet pizzas video about five months ago or so, you may want to check that one out, it is pretty interesting. But yes, a cooking video would be a great suggestion. I don’t do a whole lot of cooking, but I definitely do cook or at least have knowledge enough to make a video. Thank you for the suggestion and for watching this video! Have a great week and see you on Thursday :-) Matt
I know how you feel because last Tuesday when I was going to my social group and when I was sitting in the car the Sun was literally shining in my eyes and I felt like it was frying my eyes which you know for a blind? It’s uncomfortable feeling good to see you again mate
As a VI myself I wear sunglasses in the sunlight and nighttime. Also because of the mockery of sighted younger men I pretty much wear them so that men stop asking me if I am truly blind because I do also wear eyeglasses as well. I do not mind women or kids asking me but, men really make me feel like a freak sometimes about it. They often nervously laugh about it as if it was something they had to just point out that I am blind. Yes and also light can be an issue as well.
I rarely take my sunglasses off...I definitely never go outside without them, even on a gloomy rainy day. I wear them because I am very sensitive to light. I even wear them inside stores and other buildings with bright lights. Also, I have some center vision left, so mine are prescription and help me see distance more clearly. I don't know what I'd do without them...
Hi, that is great that you keep your sunglasses on and really take them off. In fact, this is a practice that most of us in this community should probably be exercising on a regular basis. The flights like fluorescent and sunlight are very damaging to our eyes, it is very important to reserve the residual vision that we still have. Plus just like you said, for light sensitivity. Thanks so much for watching this video. It’s nice learning more about you :-) Matt
Geek In utopia that is great, I am glad to hear that you wear sunglasses often. I would highly recommend it to basically everybody in this community because bright lights can be so damaging to our eyes and we need to protect the remaining vision that we have.
@@BlindtoBillionaire They're not quite dark enough to be sunglasses, but they are tinted. I wear tinted glasses indoors and outdoors for light sensitivity.
To be honest, I used to wonder why blind people wear sunglasses. Just curious. Not a burning question. Nevertheless I got to experience the answer to that question LOL i wish I got to experience answers to some of my funner questions instead... bummer. Mariko
LOL, it is funny that we have the questions without the answer before it is necessary for us, but then it becomes obvious why we were sunglasses. LOL, I agree with you it would be nice to get some answers to many other questions, maybe someday :-) hope all is well with you, see you again tomorrow. Matt
Hi! That is interesting, it seems that many people in this community also have light sensitivity. Thanks much for watching this video, it’s great to hear from you and learn more about you. I appreciate you being part of this community. Have a wonderful day and see you again tomorrow in the next video
Hi Pamela! It is so nice to hear from you. LOL, your eyes water like a Fossett, that is intense! But yes I know what you mean, especially if it is windy also. I’m glad that you wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from the damaging ultraviolet rays from the sun :-) hope you’re having a wonderful weekend :-) Matt
I wear shades because I got sensitive to light just like you and my right eye moves by itself. Next time when somebody asks you why you wear sunglasses outdoors. Do like I do the same reason you wear sunglasses outdoors you don't want the sun to fry your eyes
Well I don’t have photophobia and I need my glasses because the Sun would burn my eyes otherwise and I can’t seem to Sunbury well and I would still be visually impaired otherwise so I’m not her she cycled anyway mate just to let you know I am you know some people might be still conscious about the rice because like me very hard to open the lights or we try opening your eyes at the same time do you open your mouth so you know you could have so can’t use feelings about that if she was well
My eyes are sensitive to the sun. I wear a big ol' floppy hat with my sunglasses whenI take Gabby out. I have clip ons in the car, but use my wrap arounds in the house.
Hi, I love it, a big floppy hat and sunglasses, that is a good luck! I hope you wear that when you’re out navigating with your cane, especially down there when it is so sunny and bright :-) hope you’re having a wonderful weekend :-) Matt
I’m glad to hear that you were sunglasses for light sensitivity, I think that is very important. Even for many of us who have very limited vision, it is very important to protect the remaining vision that we have. And the ultraviolet rays of the sun are very damaging to our eyes. Thanks for watching this video :-) nice to see you too. Matt
Big D 63 that may be the case for one thing I don’t like about it is that people assume that we have more size if we wear glasses which you could argue that it’s true but in actual reality it’s not so that’s why I don’t like it
I know how you feel because last Tuesday when I was going to my social group and when I was sitting in the car the Sun was literally shining in my eyes and I felt like it was frying my eyes which you know for a blind? It’s uncomfortable feeling good to see you again mate

Matt
Patriot In The Dark hey guys watch out for those prayers are jerks because in my opinion they need to be beat
Thank You for making this.
Thank you for always talking about questions we are always trying to answer. Great job
Hi! Thank you so much for watching this video and for the very nice comment. Great video man. I knew the first reason why but I never thought about your eyes not looking at the person while talking to them. Thanks for sharing

Matt

Hi Matt Great video x I have to wear dark glasses my eyes are sensitive to bright light inside and outside. I hope you have a lovely weekend x
Great video Matt the Cat! I love seeing you relaxing in the sun and shedding some light (haha, see what I did there) onto a great topic! Loves! CB
Matt
@@BlindtoBillionaire It was perfect. Never a complaint.
Jannell Meagher Thank you, you are always so nice. I hope you are having a lovely weekend. It is about 40° here, but windy. The wind is cold. Jannell Meagher oh wow, that does seem pretty chilly considering you have been in the 80s lately. Hopefully you were able to have a little reprieve in your schedule, you sound very busy. Enjoy the day
Thank you for educating us! Means a lot.
MATT
Awesome Video!!
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed this video. Thank you for your support on this channel, it truly means so much to us!

@@BlindtoBillionaire thank you so much for your very beautiful comment and support and keep up the great work friends

Hey Neil! Thank you, you also have a great weekend and happy leap year and day to you too :-) Matt
BlindNeil thanks man I noticed, it is coming later but have a good weekend yourself
So, they serve as safety glasses?
Audrey Sims try putting your hand in front of your face with your palmount when you bend over I was told to do this and I do find it helps xx
Geek In utopia hi, yes that is very true, not only protection from the light, but they also provide an element of safety from objects poking the eyes.
I have to chuckle. You say it is cold but you are only wearing a hoodie. In Winnipeg, cold is -30 or colder when you add windchill. Keep it up!
Matt
Hey Matt, where did you get the sunglasses from?
Hi, I actually bought them on Amazon, I actually pinned a comment on this video to the new video I made about a month ago discussing these glasses and exactly where you can get them. If you’d like you can check that out!

I hope this helps :-) thanks so much for watching this video!
Trip Reviews good tactic my friend
I’m going to have to catch up on your videos but how are you and Corey what’s the news with you guys it feels like it’s been ages since I’ve heard from you
I wear sunglasses for photophobia, and it seems easier on the person I’m looking at when I wear them due to the fact that I use my peripheral vision.

I own the same sunglasses and I love them too
Matt
🎶 I wear my sunglasses at night...🎶
I’m also light sensitive.
LOL. But really, no need to cry about it ;-)
Darque Queen that’s pretty cool you might think differently otherwise that I think it’s cool that you have sunglasses
What a cool video. You should do a blind cooking video people think blind people can’t cook.
Hey Jordan, yeah that sounds painful. Very bright sun, sunglasses are so important
I'm in a similar boat to you in that regard.
Geek In utopia that is great. Even tinted glasses help a lot. Even something just to filter the damaging sunlight is helpful. :-)

Hi, thank you so much for watching this video and for this link! This is great, I will check it out.
I wear them so I don't unintentionally kill people with my Optic Blast. 😎
LOL, you are funny! I’m glad that you wear glasses then! LOL :-) thanks for watching this video :-) Matt
@@BlindtoBillionaire Of course! Love hearing your voice. 😄
Martin Labuson LOL, thank you! You are way too kind :-)
Really like that! 🤓😂
Matt
Finally my answer:)
The most annoying part about my hands being bound behind my back is my glasses often slip down my nose.
Oh yeah, that’s too bad. That would be an unfortunate situation.
@@BlindtoBillionaire but luckily I sometimes get some help when that situation arises.
@@BlindtoBillionaire I wonder how you'd be able to get your glasses back up your nose if your hands were bound behind your back.
I’m photofobic and have nystagmus too
Hi! That is interesting, it seems that many people in this community also have light sensitivity. Thanks much for watching this video, it’s great to hear from you and learn more about you. I appreciate you being part of this community. Have a wonderful day and see you again tomorrow in the next video
Yep, good old RP 😎 without my sunnies my eyes runn like a tap 🚰
Well I don’t have photophobia and I need my glasses because the Sun would burn my eyes otherwise and I can’t seem to Sunbury well and I would still be visually impaired otherwise so I’m not her she cycled anyway mate just to let you know I am you know some people might be still conscious about the rice because like me very hard to open the lights or we try opening your eyes at the same time do you open your mouth so you know you could have so can’t use feelings about that if she was well
Thanks Jordan, it’s always fun learning more about you
My eyes are sensitive to the sun.
I wear sunglasses when I go out on sunny days
Hey Larry, that is very smart! Glad to hear that :-) hope you’re enjoying a nice warm weekend in Florida.
@@BlindtoBillionaire Yes it is a little cool today but it will be a little bit warmer tomorrow
Larry Testut hey Larry, that sounds so nice! I am definitely very jealous, that sounds amazing.
I wear my sunglasses bc of photophobia. Otherwise my eyes would be clossed too. Hey Matt glaf to see you.
Matt
Matt watch your video and I didnt no you were blind you eyes look normal dont worry your eyes are fine
I have understand I'm having a sadness
Because we like to look cool. lol
Hi! LOL, I wish that were the only reason we were sunglasses. LOL, I would definitely take that over light sensitivity :-)
Big D 63 that may be the case for one thing I don’t like about it is that people assume that we have more size if we wear glasses which you could argue that it’s true but in actual reality it’s not so that’s why I don’t like it
If I ever wore sunglasses 24/7 I’d see better
Right now, my hands are cuffed behind my back.
It sounds like you spend a lot of time with your hands behind your back. I bet your shoulders hurt
@@BlindtoBillionaire no, my shoulders don't hurt. That's not too say I don't experience inconveniences because of it.
@@BlindtoBillionaire hands are still bound behind my back and my glasses are slipping. How can I get my glasses back up my nose?
@@BlindtoBillionaire yep, bound and helpless!
@@BlindtoBillionaire what do you recommend for getting my glasses back up my nose while my hands are bound behind my back?
I know how you feel because last Tuesday when I was going to my social group and when I was sitting in the car the Sun was literally shining in my eyes and I felt like it was frying my eyes which you know for a blind? It’s uncomfortable feeling good to see you again mate
